Really lovely experience. The property worked out perfectly. The place was very clean. The clubhouse access with pool, hot tub, and game room were wonderful for me and my teens.

Great Vacation!

This is the third year we have stayed at Beach Dreams and we just keep coming back. It's like having your own little house on vacation. It is private and secure, the owners are very helpful and the people who run the property are wonderful. This place is an oasis !

Nice cottage-convenient location

Overall, we were happy with our stay at the Beach Dreams Cottage. The location is very convenient to the beaches in Wells and Ogunquit. It was great to have a place to hang out (as opposed to a hotel room) and have our meals. We will probably look for the same thing again next year.

Very nice place with a great owner

The cottage is very nice . It conveniently located to a number of beaches and things to do . The owner answers your questions quickly. Dennis was very understanding when we mistakenly mixed up our departure time.

Awsome stay!

This was a great place to stay. The pool was just perfect, never crowded. The unit was comfortable and had everything needed for everyday function. The beaches where very close to us.. We had a great time staying here. Would definitely recommend this rental. Dennis was always great about answering my questions and always replied as quick as he could, which was great.

The property details was listed as 3 bedrooms, but the sunroom is not a bedroom. This was misleading. There was no air out there and I am thankful that my youngest daughter did not come with us because she would have been miserable sleeping on the futon. Other than that, we liked our stay.

Vacation 2023

We enjoyed our stay at Beach Dreams. Dennis’s cottage was very nice and conveniently located across from pool area and close to Wells beach and other attractions. We had a little problem with check in gate code. Dennis was easily reachable and office had to reset code since it wasn’t working. I do wish linens were included in the stay. Other than that we had a wonderful stay and would return. Thank you for hosting our stay in Wells Maine!

Not really a 3 bedroon

The drawer with silverware was a mess. Went to use the blender and it was filthy. I had to clean it but then everything that we were going to use needed to be cleaned first. If you have a cleaning service then they definitely are not doing their job. No place to hang anything, no drawers to put clothes. Would not rent again.The owner was great about getting back to you though and things were stocked to start out.

Great Stay

We had a great annual stay at Beach Dreams. The cottage was great and had everything we needed. We just couldn’t get the master bedroom tv to work.

Just as advertised!

This was a great small property for us to stay at with my family. We spent very little time there as we were mostly at the beach, but the kids did enjoy the pool when we were there. The futon is not terribly comfortable as a bed, but I've never slept on one that was! Laundry on site was very convenient.

Beautiful place!

My friends and I stayed here for an “Ogunquit getaway”. It was super cozy, in a great location. The place was clean, and fit five of us wonderfully. I will definitely be back!

Great location

This cottage was in a great location within Beach Dreams community and to Wells and Ogunquit. I was impressed at how quiet it was even though the cottages were very close together. The pool area was great! The staff were very accommodating. Dennis was very responsive and great to work with. The cottage was very clean. Downside: the kitchen could have been a little better equipped. We did not find pot holders or a pizza pan. We had planned on grilling but the grill appeared old and unkept and not something I would put my food on. The pillows had stains on them which was a turn off. The glass top kitchen table was big for the small kitchen and glass furniture in the living room is not ideal for small children. There is no room at all for storing your clothes. Plan to keep your clothes in the suitcase. Overall, we had a terrific time.

Don't recommend!

I have nothing good to say about the unit we rented. The moldy deck, rotten door frame and hole in the floor (that the owner referred to as a "soft spot") welcomed us to the cottage. Upon entering the cabin we found glass on a table from a broken picture frame, locked and/or full closets and dressers (resulting in living out of our suitcases during our stay), smoke detectors with no batteries, a hole punched in the bathroom door, 1 (one) trash bag in and 1 enormous roll of TP (from a porta potty?) that didn't fit in the holder. We complained to Beach Dreams management and there was "nothing they could do". I also complained to the owner who offered a discount on my next booking with him and said he hoped we take the opportunity to "make memories" at his cottage. We have memories at his cottage already and don't intend to make anymore. We also have memories at other rental communities on either side of Beach Dreams and those memories are nothing but wonderful. My recommendation - stay at one of them.

Know the rules of this property

Know the rules of this rental property before signing up. These requirements were not listed in the property description, nor was there a 'renters handbook' at the property. 1. You are required to wash, dry, fold all laundry (sheets,towels, etc) prior to 11AM departure. Any unfinished item results in a substantial fee per item The laundry facilities provided are tiny. There is a laundromat by the Dunkin Donuts on Rt#1 FYI: the property 'cleaning fee' supports vacuuming and bathroom cleaning only...as told directly to me by the rental owner. 2. You are required to restock the property with all paper and cleaning supplies when you leave (T.P. paper towel, soap) Sadly, the prior renter left none of those items for my arrival. (arriving late, due to a delayed flight, to discover no T.P. really affects one's disposition) The owner reports this has never happened before, in 15 yrs of renting....just my bad luck , I guess For a positive.....the pool is nice!

Great location and clean

Quaint cottage in a great location. It was very clean and well kept. We were very close to the clubhouse pool which made it very convenient. Owner was very responsive via email and let me know when he received our payment. I would definitely rent from this owner again.

Very Nice place but il could be a little bit cleaner and the bbq doesn't heat really well.

On occasion our previous guests simply forget to check the BBQ before heading out after their vacation. I can assure you I will be personally investigating the matter. Good location/good stay

This cottage is in a great area that is central to Kittery, Ogunquit, and Kennebunkport. It is about a 30 minute drive to Old Orchard And Hampton beaches, which was great for us. Our family of four (including 2 teens) stayed comfortably in this cottage, using the sunroom as a bedroom. The amenities were as described, the only thing we had trouble finding was dishcloths. The cottage itself appears to have some normal wear and tear that I suspect would come from kids and various renters over time. The washer/dryer, shower, toilet, and dishwasher all work very well. The check in process was very organized, our name was at the gate and our package including passes and keys was ready at the office as promised. The pool was very nice with tons of reclining pool chairs, and we enjoyed the hot tub in the evenings. It appears to be a very family oriented community. The only thing I would recommend for someone to bring would be a kettle if they are a big tea drinker. We felt very safe in this community.

Awesome!

The cottage was very clean. The owners took the time to explain check in and check out process. Washing machine and dryer in the house which is so convenient. Many things to do on site. You can see the main clubhouse and pool from bedroom window. We had a great time.
