Dies ist eine niedliche, private 2-stöckige, 3-Zimmer-Familienhütte mit 1 Schlafzimmer und 1, 5 Bädern! Die 1. Etage verfügt über einen offenen Wohn- / Essbereich mit Frühstücksbar sowie einen Esstisch, einen Holzofen (Brennholz), eine gut ausgestattete Küche, ein Schlafzimmer mit 1 Queensize-Bett und ein 3/4-Bad. Die 2. Etage verfügt über ein Schlafzimmer mit 1 Queensize-Bett und ein Schlafzimmer mit 1 Twin-Bett sowie 1 großes Bett, einen begehbaren Balkon und ein 1/2-Bad. Dieses haustierfreundliche und überwachte Familienferienhaus bietet Platz für bis zu 7 Personen (Maximale Belegung!).

Das Mount Baker Recreation Area ist ein ganzjähriger Spielplatz! SOMMER Gäste können herrlich wandern, mountainbiken, bergsteigen, klettern, wandern, angeln (See und Fluss), Kleinwildjagd, Wildwasser-Rafting, Kajakfahren, Kanufahren, Schwimmen, Naturbeobachtungen, Tennis und Golf. we loved our weekend at this quiet cabin in the woods. great VHS collection and games, kitchen was well stocked with all the cooking implements we needed for a cozy stay.

The scenery and weather was beautiful. Our house had everything we need except A/C. But not needed.

I inquired thru another agency but saved over $300 by going with VRBO. It was easy and turned out exactly as they said. Will definitely be back. Thanks for the family trip of a lifetime!

Great Getaway Near Baker

The location of the cabin was great and almost as close as you can get to Mt. Baker. Very nice little cabin with plenty of DVDs and VHS tapes which was a nice break from wifi and streaming. Our only issue was that we didn't receive check-in information prior to the stay. Fortunately we called from Maple Falls before we lost cell service and were able to pick up the keys there before traveling all the way to Glacier. All in all, we had a lovely trip.

That said; we're more than a bit concerned about your comment stating that you didn't receive check-in information prior to your stay. When a Guest books with us, they receive an e-mailed confirmation along with attachments that provide check-in instructions, a map with directions, and other pertinent information. This is an automated process. Our records indicate that you received these items on 12/25. Of course, our biggest concern is that someone may have hacked your e-mail addresses and/or is reading your e-mails without your knowledge or consent. Because of this, we strongly recommend that you change your e-mail address to assist in preventing potential reoccurrences. cute cabin but dead flies in the window sills, sand in 1 bed and thick dust under the other were't great. could'nt see the cabin number because of the bushes and the photo is misleading, what you see is the back of the cabin, so it was hard to find. It worked for what we needed.

Hi Kelly: Thank you for your 4-star review for family Cabin #32. We are happy to hear that you found the cabin to be "cute", and apologize for the fact that you found some dead flies in the window sills, sand in one of the beds, and dust under the other bed. We've been having a real challenge with flies this season in our wooded mountain area...compounded by the fact that we are creating reservation and cleaning buffers between Guests due to COVID. The flies can happen quite quickly and at a time when the cabin is intentionally unoccupied. When the cabin was cleaned prior to your arrival, I actually was assisting the housekeepers, and have absolutely no idea where the sand came from. All of the linens were laundered and the beds were made prior to your stay, so that's a bit of a conundrum for us. I do apologize for the dust under the other bed. I believe that in our haste, we simply missed the mark. Please know that, (while we didn't hear from you at anytime during your 2-night stay) whenever there are concerns or questions in general, we are always just a quick phone call away (the cabin is equipped with a land line). We would have been more than happy to dispatch a housekeeper to resolve your concerns. Your point regarding the street sign it well taken, and we will have the bushes trimmed-up...thank you for pointing that out. Respectfully, Dan

ok for the price.

Very adequate for our trip. The firewood was giant chunks that were soaking wet which made it hard to get fires going and the firebox is too small to accommodate the size of wood chunks without having to split them. The shower controls were not easy to gauge and didn't flow hot for very long like about 30 secs too hot 60 secs OK and then too cold. Pet friendly!!!

Cabin was not fully cleaned.

The cabin was not completely cleaned when we arrived and a family member found a wrapper from a used personal item in one of the beds the first night. The property management company was understanding, but the owner was only willing to refund the cleaning fee when we asked for the cleaning fee + one night rental to be credited to our stay. The other reviews about hot water are accurate- not enough hot water for 4 adults to take a shower after skiing, even when other water appliances were not used.

Hi Heather: Thank you for your review for family Cabin #32. We sincerely apologize that anything was missed regarding housekeeping, and that the hot water was insufficient during your stay. Our vacation properties are inspected and concierged prior to every Guest arrival (you no doubt noticed that the outside light was turned on for you, the heat was turned up to a comfortable temperature, and the ceiling fan was turned on to circulate the warm air). I'm not sure how anything obvious could have been missed during that process, but apparently it was. As an agency, we have staff on call to remedy issues that may arise during one's stay. Curiously, we never heard from you at anytime during your 3-night stay until (via e-mail) at approximately 9:30pm on the last night of your stay. While the cabin is equipped with a landline, there is no wifi, so we're not sure how you were able to send off an e-mail. In situations where a deficiency is reported on a timely basis, but unable to be resolved, we are able to reach out to the property owners and request a refund. Depending upon the circumstances, they may or may not grant a refund...but we can always ask. In this situation; because no contact was made in a timely manner that would allow maintenance to provide assistance during your stay, the homeowner was unwilling to provide any refunds. On the other hand, the refund of the Cleaning Fee was something that we had control over, so we were able to provide that, even though there were no pictures taken or evidence left behind for us to see. Just an e-mail statement made at 9:30pm. We just took you at your word for that. Respectfully, Dan

Vacation with the 3 grandkids

The cabin is cozy and very welcoming. There was plenty of room for the the 3 grandkids to run around the cabin, play soccer and have a great time chasing each other. There was great roads to walk the 2 dogs- they had more walking they were used to. Plenty of trails close by. As a Grandma - the kitchen was great for all the meals I made. It is a very happy caing.

Great get away

This cabin was perfect for our needs and located centrally. I saw other people complain about a lack of hot water, but we did not have any issues with that. Overall we felt this was a great place to stay!

Mt. Baker Spring Session

The cabin was very cozy and had all the bare necessities for an off the grid vacation. Plenty of movies and music to choose from and the beds were comfortable. A couple of things to note. 1: The hot water does not last long in the shower so move fast to get clean. 2: The BBQ was not working during our stay and it did not seem to be related to the propane volume. 3: There is no internet or cell service in the cabin which is both good and bad. Internet would be nice to have. Overall, the cabin worked well for us, with just the minor items above. Thanks.

Hi Kraig: Thank you for your review for family Cabin #32! We are delighted to hear that you had an enjoyable stay, and that you found "the cabin (to be) very cozy" and that "the beds were comfortable". We will have a look at the hot water tank to see if there is a malfunction. It's important to note that it is a standard residential 50 gallon tank, so like most person's homes, the hot water supply is not unlimited...especially when taking back-to-back showers and running other appliances at the same time. The BBQ works just fine. The strikers tend to fail fairly quickly in our rain-forest environment, but using a BBQ lighter or long stick matches gets it started right up. As it states on the listing, there is no wifi available at the cabin and cell service is virtually non-existent in our wooded mountain area. That said; the cabin is equipped with a land line. Local (countywide) calling is free. Long distance can be accessed with a calling card. Thank you for the neat and tidy way in which you left the cabin upon departure. Great Stay

Great stay, only issue was little to no hot water in the shower

Birthday Vacation

Some suggestions: screen windows to prevent bugs from coming inside; wifi; window coverings in upstairs bedrooms.

We presume that you had an enjoyable stay overall, and will bring the issue that you experienced with the window screens to the property owner's attention. Regard wifi; the service up here is horrendous under the best of conditions, and the property owners have decided for forgo the added expense of a service that is prone to failure. Beautiful location and cozy cabin!

Cabin was clean and very comfortable. Plenty of space for a group of 7. Easy to find. Nice neighborhood.
