Dieses 2-stöckige Blockhaus mit 2 Schlafzimmern und 3/4-Bädern liegt direkt gegenüber dem Sommererholungsgebiet in der Snowline-Community und sagt "Hütte in den Bergen!". Die 1. Etage verfügt über eine offene Küche im Landhausstil sowie einen Wohn- / Essbereich mit einem freistehenden Gaskamin, eine 3/4-Badewanne und einen separaten Waschbereich mit einer Waschmaschine und einem Trockner. Die 2. Etage verfügt über ein großes Schlafzimmer mit 2 Queensize-Betten und einen schönen Balkon. Ein zweiter Schlafbereich verfügt über 1 Etagenbett auf jeder Seite des Raumteilers ... ideal für Kinder! Dieses mit Wi-Fi ausgestattete und überwachte Familienferienhaus bietet Platz für bis zu 8 Personen (Maximale Belegung!).

Snowline ist eine Familie fokussiert Community mit vielen Freizeitaktivitäten. Relaxing getaway

This was such a great place to spend a quiet weekend girls trip. We wished we could have stayed longer. There were lots of movies to choose from, the kitchen had everything we needed, and it was very clean. The only semi negative was it took a bit to heat up when we got there. But there were blankets on the couches that were put to good use. Would definitely stay here again & will recommend it to friends & family

Log cabin in wonderful community

We really enjoyed our time in this community. It's very well-kept with lots of amenities: pool, game room, horseshoes, baseball diamond, tennis and pickle ball courts, playground and hiking trails that lead to the river. It was fun to enjoy these amenities after a day spent hiking and enjoying the area. The house was somewhat rustic and is not luxurious, but had most of what we were looking for. The kitchen doesn't have basic spices, coffee, sugar etc as we have enjoyed at other VRBO homes, so that made cooking a little more challenging. The washer & dryer were a plus and they did have detergent, which was very helpful. All in all, we would definitely rent here again if we return to the area!

Amazing log cabin

This cabin is gorgeous! Location is great, it only took about a half an hour to get up to Artist Point for a day hike. Tons of hikes to do in the area, also very close to a great general store in Glacier. The property was lovely, very quiet, the amenities ( pool, tennis courts etc.) were great! My only complaints were the lighting in the cabin is lacking (even with the lights on it was difficult to see) I’d recommend better light bulbs or track lighting. Also, we didn’t have a dishwasher and this was a huge disappointment as that was not clear in the listing. For this price point I would expect there to be a dishwasher. Other than that we loved it and would likely come back again.

As you noticed, the cabin is a hand hewn log cabin that is rustic by nature. As a result, a dishwasher is not provided, and there is no reference to their being a dishwasher on the property description. Persons should plan accordingly. For a cabin experience that will accommodate up to eight persons, has a full kitchen, a washer/dryer, and is located in a great resort-recreational development with many seasonal amenities, the price is actually quite a bargain during prime summer rental season. Cabin stay

Enjoyed our one night stay, even though we paid for two nights. We hiked the Bagley Lakes trails and the trail around Picture Lake, so we saw what we came to see. The road was closed farther up, so we couldn’t explore the Artists Point area. Suggestion: we would like to see you use brighter lights. Hard to see throughout the lower floor. Also, please have a stack of hiking trail maps for visitors to use or take. Your office had none, the visitors center was closed and NO ONE had any maps. We had with us a detailed trail book for that area, so we used that. We also knew this area, but other guests will be disappointed if they have no maps.

With so many downloadable maps available online these days, we do not maintain a stock of local trail maps. Paper maps are generally available either through the Mt. Baker Visitor's Center in Maple Falls or at the U.S. Forestry Info Center in Glacier. Their maps far exceed those that we are able to obtain. Great rental. Had to call to get the light fixed. Took about 24 hours but was totally manageable...just a little dim. Management was lovely. Amenities were great.

Nice cabin close to Mt Baker

Nice and clean cabin. Close to the slopes and to Glacier. Kids liked the playground and pond in the community.

Excellent cabin!

Beautiful area and gated which was great. The cabin was very clean and is located near the tennis courts, pool (not open yet) and pond which was nice. The grounds were very clean and it was quiet. Beautiful trails for driving or hiking close by. The cabin very comfortably slept the 4 of us which was 2 adults and 2 teens. Not a lot to do for more than a couple nights if the pool isn't open so bring games to play inside and out. Would definitely stay again. Cabin has stairs to get up to the bedrooms which you have to also take to get back down to the restroom if you have to get up frequently in the night. Would definitely recommend this cabin, beautiful, safe, quiet, clean, fully stocked with all kitchen items you need.

A good family getaway

Because we spent our check in day hiking at Mt Baker, it was inconvenient to have to drive 15 minutes past the rental property to receive the keys in Maple Falls and then drive another 15 minutes back to the rental. I do object to the posted rental price differing significantly to the price that one actually pays. The excessive fees should be included in the posted rental price. Our family really enjoyed the spacious log cabin and the facility offered something for everyone.

We are delighted to hear that you had an enjoyable stay despite the keys not being available for you for an early check-in while we had other Guests-in-residence. Most people are understanding of this. As far as the rental price goes, VRBO (and other 3rd party sites) add a commission to the rental (that's how they make their money). Perfect place for a getaway with friends

The cabin was a perfect environment for a weekend of snow sports with friends. The directions made the place easy to find, and the staff was super responsive to our inquiries and requests. Given all the rules of the cabin, we were a bit worried that we would inadvertently get fined for missing one of the many requirements, but once we got there we realized the staff was much more accommodating than their website implied. Organizing eight people can be like herding cats sometimes, but Mt. Baker Lodging helped ensure everything worked out well. The number of labels in the house was a bit jarring at first, but it did make it easy to tell what every light switch would do before flipping them, proper toilet and shower procedures, and how to lock and unlock doors. Great cabin; great location; would highly recommend.
