Mt Baker Lodging Cabin # 3 - Eine sehr große Hütte auf dem Land. W-lan! Haustiere ok!

Die Glacier Lodge ist die perfekte Unterkunft für größere Familiengruppen. Die Lodge befindet sich auf einer eigenen Fläche und verfügt über insgesamt 12 Schlafzimmer und 3,5 Badezimmer auf drei Etagen, die in verschiedenen Konfigurationen reserviert werden können. Die Hauptetage verfügt über einen geräumigen Küchenbereich, der sich perfekt für Gruppenveranstaltungen eignet, mit zwei großen Essbereichen, einem großen Wohnbereich und einem 3/4-Bad sowie Zugang zur 3. Etage mit jeweils 5 Schlafzimmern mit 1 Queensize-Bett, 1,5 Bädern, einem Wäschebereich mit Waschmaschine / Trockner in voller Größe und einem Loft-Wohnbereich mit einem Versteckbett für insgesamt bis zu 12 Personen. Durch die Öffnung des Schlafzimmerbereichs im Hauptgeschoss stehen weitere 4 Schlafzimmer mit jeweils 1 Queensize-Bett für eine Gesamtschlafkapazität von bis zu 20 Personen zur Verfügung. Durch die Öffnung der 1. Etage kommen weitere 3 Schlafzimmer hinzu ... zwei mit jeweils 1 Queensize-Bett und eines mit 1 Kingsize-Bett, einem 3/4-Bad und einem Waschbereich mit einer Waschmaschine in voller Größe. Trockner und eine Lounge mit Billardtisch für eine Gesamtbelegung von bis zu 26 Personen. Die parkähnliche Umgebung im Freien eignet sich perfekt für Versammlungen mit zwei überdachten Picknicktischen und einem Gasgrill im Freien. Bitte kontaktieren Sie uns für Reservierungen, die auf der Größe Ihrer Familiengruppe basieren.

Obwohl privat, ist dieses Haus eine gute Ergänzung zum Objekt # 02MBH, da es sich auf derselben Fläche befindet. Zusammen werden sie bis zu 36 Gäste schlafen.

BITTE BEACHTEN SIE: Der WiFi-Service ist jetzt in unserer Region verfügbar und wird für Gäste KOSTENLOS zur Verfügung gestellt. Allerdings ist der Dienst derzeit störanfällig, da der Dienstanbieter gerade alles einwählt. Zeitweise auftretende Serviceausfälle sind ein Umstand, den wir nicht zu vertreten haben. BITTE BEACHTEN SIE: Diese Hütte ist ein überwachtes Familienferienhaus und kein Partyhaus. Very large dining / seating area

Conveniently located close to Deming city and Mt Baker, the cabin easily accommodated a group of 20 people. Would definitely stay again.

Our stay was just perfect, the house was everything we needed. The large kitchen had two refrigerators and a "beer cooler" for extra drink storage so we had more than enough room for our fridge drinks & food, the kitchen had two large tables and seating in the living room for all of our guests. The guest and ourselves were very happy with the booking. The location was great too, There is a local store down the road for last minute needs and a handle full of good food and breakfast options near by- not to mention close to Mount Baker for hiking! The beds were cozy, everything was supplied in bathrooms/kitchen and bedrooms. The convinces of having a bathroom on each floor was amazing and having a washer/dryer upstairs and in the basement was very nice. We utilized the seating areas out side a lot (it was a hot week and the house does not have AC) and the outdoor seating was nice and only a short walk to the river. The ladies at the main office where key Pick up/drop off were MORE THAN AMAZING super helpful and were there to answer any questions we had. I would most defiantly book with the company again and if we have a larger party again I would book this cabin a second time! I would 100% recommend this home for your stay!!

2024 Family Vacation

This Mt. Baker Lodge was perfect for our family of 16 to be together for food, puzzles, games, and just sharing with each other. The large kitchen included everything we needed. There was plenty of living room seating. And 12 bedrooms!!

Perfect for a family reunion!

This cabin was perfect for our family reunion in the mountains and easily accommodated 10 adults and 4 little kids with plenty of room to spare. The large kitchen, dining tables and living spaces were plenty big for everyone to to either mingle, play with the little ones, prepare food, eat snacks, drink tasty beverages, laugh, talk and do all the other things a family reunion entails. Two refrigerators and a beer and wine fridge held all the food we needed for three nights. And the area around the cabin was perfect for the little ones to run around and play. It was perfect for us, and I hope to come back again some day!

Woodsy, rustic, and roomy

Great communication from the hosts, who responded promptly as we prepared for our trip. Lots of room for all of us, with a bathroom on each floor and numerous bedrooms. Layout allowed for three family spaces. Outside seating is plentiful if rustic. Bedding/ pillows were not luxurious or plentiful but the mattress was comfortable for me. Kitchen includes two refrigerators and plenty of utensils, pots, tableware and glassware, including wine glasses. Also, there are two sets of laundry machines. Numerous windows with screens, allowing for sunlight and cool evening breezes. TV is large, with Roku. Internet worked fine for TV (but wifi coverage did not reach as far as my bedroom). The location is woodsy. Hear the river. Feel surrounded by nature, even with houses nearby. The driveway was easy to find — marked with orange cones, thank you. VRBO was minutes from tiny Glacier Springs where we found a small grocery story and Wake N Bakery — delicious! A range of hiking trails leading to gorgeous scenery. Why not five stars? It got hot upstairs. Towels were thin. Each guest was provided only one bath-towel and one facecloth - no hand-towels except two in each bathroom. Only a few kitchen towels —we had to wash towels daily. ps. No cell service for Verizon, as warned. No baby furniture. The fireplace didn’t work — and one evening was cool. A GOOD TIME WAS HAD BY ALL. Thank you!!

Served the purpose but this house is tired

First, buyer beware. This house appears in multiple VRBO (and other rental sites) listings with different rates under the guise of different property management companies. The most exaggerated rate is almost double the lesser. The property management company we worked with in this listing, was highly responsive. We had to pickup keys from them instead of the more typical approach of having electronic locks but the process was quick and smooth. We rented this house to facilitate a corporate retreat, and for that it served the purpose well. 12 bedrooms, lots of space to hold our meetings, and plenty of room to spread out and relax as needed. The house was clean and nothing stood out from that regard. The pool table, albeit with it's warped bumpers and uneven footing, was nice for the team to destress at after our long days. The kitchen is fairly well equipped but there are no stocked items such as spices or sugar or the usual items you find in other homes. The smell another reviewer commented on is light but certainly present. The house is situated next to the highway but being winter and staying indoors there was not noticeable road noise. The bedrooms are plain and the mattresses varied from ok (the one I slept on) to complaints of deep wells and pressure points some of my team indicated. Linens were mediocre but clean. Generally however, this house is tired and not well maintained. Kitchen counter laminate is coming apart, bathroom cabinets are falling apart, mouse droppings inside cabinets, holes in walls behind one of the beds, all the interior doors have deadbolts on them (one of my colleagues commented "it's kind of creepy"), trim missing, the downstairs bathroom is missing a full wall of tile and the concrete is exposed, cheap plastic shower curtains, cheap shower heads (e.g. a rainfall shower has a cheap hose/head coming out of the ceiling and mounted to the wall instead of a rainfall head), etc. In summary, it's a mediocre experience but well suited for a large group. We did meet the owners when we arrived and while the interaction was brief they seemed pleasant. However, after experiencing the home the sense we walked away from is that it's being milked for revenue with little interest in maintaining or upgrading the home. Couple that with the multiple VRBO listings for this house at varying price ranges from $1200-2400/night feels disingenuous.

Hi Ryan: Thank you for providing us with the review for family Cabin #3. I'm not exactly sure what you mean by "buyer beware". This cabin is advertised via several different third party marketers. Occasionally this results in a duplication of listings, but all of the ads are legitimate. In the end, most Guests tend to look for the lowest price, and they generally book directly with us. Regardless of where they choose to book, they end-up staying at the same cabin under our management. You mention that the cabin was booked for a "corporate retreat, and for that it served the purpose well". Well Ryan, that is exactly the purpose for which it was designed. You are correct in mentioning that there are no stocked spices or sugar, as we are able to provide any form of "food product consumables" due to local health department regulations. This is explained in conjunction with all reservations, so that there are absolutely no surprises in this regard. Guests are advised of this in advance so that they can plan accordingly. Although mattress comfort is subjective based upon personal preference, we will bring your comments regarding your take on the mattress quality to the attention of the property owners. The house is not brand new, but it is certainly not in disrepair as you would otherwise have viewers believe. There were two pieces of loose trim that we have discovered, and since refastened. I honestly don't know how they would have even been found unless someone began pulling on them. The house was inspected prior to your arrival (hopefully you noticed that the heat was turned up, the outside lights were turned on, and the ceiling fans were activated when you arrived) and, because we are located in the country where critters abound, drawers and cabinets are always checked during the concierge process. No evidence of rodent activity was found. The bit about the cabin "being milked for revenue" is more than a bit insulting, as the homeowners work very hard to maintain a quality albeit modest home. Given the general flavor of your review, it is unlikely that the owners would be interested in hosting your group again in the future. Respectfully, Dan

Gut: Check-in, Kommunikation und Lage

Good for large groups and short stays

The property is in a nice location. Lots of trails and scenic places to from there. Good for large groups as ghe house got 12 bedrooms with queen size beds in each one. Pool table was good entertainment for us. The staff is extremely responsive and caring. The property is old and not maintained well. It had a foul smell (the one you usually get when checks in a hotel room with very old carpet) when we checked. The yard is not maintained well. The bath and bed linen were of poor quality. We couldn’t find wine and whiskey glasses there. The place needs a refresh for sure.
