The hot tub was wonderful, the pool was not used because it was not heated but we knew that. The power went out Saturday night so we had to reset the hot tub but that was not a problem

The home is very large and was perfect for our book club weekend — plenty of space and all the beds were clean and comfortable!Potential renters should know the property is currently for sale for future development, so upkeep seems limited. There are cameras around the exterior, which makes sense, but there were also quite a few large spiders and webs outside.Outside: The backyard has nice furniture, but cushions were dirty and the patio hadn’t been swept. The hot tub was great, though the pool wasn’t open.Inside: The layout is huge with seven bedrooms, comfy beds, and plenty of towels. The kitchen is spacious but showing wear — broken cupboard doors, greasy pans, and utensils that needed washing. No saran wrap, tinfoil, or containers, and one kitchen chair was taped together. No washcloths in the ensuite (not sure about other bathrooms). One toilet wasn’t working; the owner said they’d send someone, but no one came. Not a big issue since there were other bathrooms.Some TVs didn’t work, and the karaoke machine powered on but the microphones didn’t. Lots of seating, and the extra fridge in the dining area was handy.Overall, the home was likely stunning in its day but is now dated and needs some love. Great for a large group who doesn’t mind a few maintenance issues — with a little more care, it could be an amazing stay!

The property was as adevtised. Plenty of room for our entire team of 18 comfortably. The weather was cooperative and made the pool and hot tub so inviting. This was a great property!

Lovely home, clean and well-suited to our large family group. Pool was a high point, comfortable outdoor seating for all ages. Outdoor and indoor cooking spaces enhanced meal prep. Note kitchen is well stocked with pots and dishware, but doesn't have baking/casserole pans. Nearby food co-op store walkable for last-minute needs.

Spacious house that needs work

Positive: beds are comfortable and plenty of room for our family reunion with 16 people. Spacious kitchen. Large patio out back. Negative: Main oven does not work, as other renters have complained about. I was told someone would come next week to fix it but who knows since others have complained with no action. Back patio was not clean, we spent our first hour sweeping it and cleaning spider webs away. Outdoor kitchen is inoperable and filthy other than the grills. Yard and landscaping is overgrown.Many things in the house are functional but needing repairs. Too many to list. We just kept noticing them.Hosts were unwilling to give us any discount for lack of working oven and dirty outdoor area.Hot tub works but has no proper steps to access it, just an upside down plastic tub.Pool water was clear and the pool guy came and checked the Water while we were there but did not vacuum out the pool which has much debris at the bottom that has been there a long time. It is unheated but was warm enough for swimming in July.The house is for sale and the owners apparently have no interest in fixing anything so don’t expect help with any problems you experience though you may receive messages from the hosts with helpful suggestions such as look up the stove online and find a manual to figure out how to make the oven work. Yes this happened. I was also told they checked with the cleaners who said they cleaned the patio but someone was definitely lying.

Fun family weekend

Fifteen of us came together to celebrate a milestone birthday. It was a great property for us and everyone had fun, especially with the games room and pool. I was a bit worried the place might be too fancy, but it was well lived in and comfortable. Please note that one of the bedrooms with two double beds is only accessible via the room with the three single beds. We had a great weekend.

Week long adventure

The home is very large and stocked well with toilet paper, Kleenex and paper towel! As for the cleanliness a little unsure as the kitchen cabinets had chunks of food left on them and there were cob webs in many places throughout the house! We ended up vacuuming and washing the kitchen floor ourselves as our socks were filthy. So a new set of cleaners and some TLC this would be an amazing place!

Works well for business meetings

Enough bedrooms for our entire groupOf 8. ( 2 had to share). Hot tub very clean. PoolIs beautiful. Kitchen needs sheet pans and frying pans but is otherwise well stocked.Will book again!

Good stay

We came with a large family group aged 2-92 and we all enjoyed our stay. The layout of the house and the number of bedrooms and bathrooms were perfect for our group. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms were spacious. The location is excellent. We mentioned a few safety concerns to host. Our seniors could not access the hottub as the step getting into it was an overturned storage bin that was unstable and slippery. The upstairs where there are three bedrooms, had brackets for smoke detectors but no visible smoke detectors. The property felt a little neglected but we all had a good time and the house was well suited for all our age groups.

Wonderful

Had an overall great stay at this property! A bit confusing to check in our code didn’t work. Cameras facing the hot tube that weren’t listed and were a little creepy that they weren’t mentioned but we are assuming it’s for safety. Place was clean and bright and we really did enjoy our stay! Would love to stay again.
