Great Get Away!

The cabin was located in a quiet neighborhood with beautiful Mountain View’s. You could hear the rushing stream close by. The cabin had everything you would need to cook. There is carpet in the bedrooms, soft and clean! I will not hesitate to rent again!

Amazing Cabin with a View!

This cabin has everything and more! From booking it all the way through to us departing it was a smooth process. Mrs. Linda has thought of everything you could possibly need or want which is so nice for the cabin. The views are amazing and the cleanest home I’ve stayed in which I’m picky. The cabin is perfect for a family or couple get away and we will be sure to come back very soon! Don’t miss out on this treasure!

Cabin splendor!

This cabin has a spectacular view of the mountains from the back screened in porch. It was so peaceful and awe inspiring. The cabin was clean, comfortable and quiet. Very close to town. Will definitely book again!

Beautiful cabin with outstanding view of the mountains. Beds and furniture were very comfortable. Loved having the garage for our motorcycles. Screened in back porch was a perfect place to eat our meals. Looking forward to next year.

The whole experience was wonderful. Everything was there that we needed. Beds were very comfortable and very peaceful. Can't wait to go back. We had an issue with WIFI Linda came right down and got it fixed.

Beautiful mountain views

I couldn’t have found a better property for our needs. Home had everything we needed to be comfortable. The screened in back porch was the highlight of the property. The view of the mountains was captivating. Property was very convenient to get to and had an attached garage which was great when it was raining. We will definitely be back soon.

Majestic View

We stayed last week of November. Cabin was perfect. Photos don't do honor. Cozy and comfortable with everything You will need on Your stay. Garage was a plus. Views front the back porch are majestic! You even can hear the elks wailing! One afternoon they visit the neighborhood and Linda was so nice that she gives me a call to be sure we don't miss the opportunity to watch them. Talking about Linda she even decorated the cabin for us with a Christmas tree and other seasonal decor! Make us feel very welcome! Access was very easy and the cabin is close to many attractions. We visited the Smoky Mountains National Park and saw elks and other wildlife and the beautiful scenery around the park and also on the Blue Ridge Parkway. Both places are very close and accessible from the cabin. Groceries, stores and restaurants are in proximity to the cabin too. Very nice experience. Definitely we are going to come back!

Cabin as described

Cabin was clean, in good shape. All amenities listed on the description were present. Plenty of kitchen pots / pans, dishes. Everything in working order, except for the fireplace, but in order to operate the fireplace (ventless) you have to open a window. Seemed to be a bit inefficient so we never used it. When we arrived there was an inventory list that we had to review (# of rugs, # of chairs etc) and sign. There is a book (many pages and tabbed) which provides the cabin policies, dining out, local sights etc. Be sure to read cabin policies section carefully - if you see any damage, but sure to note it on the inventory sheet because it states that any damage they see after you've left (they don't do it while you're there to dispute their claim), they will not return your deposit. They did refund our deposit, but it took some convincing that we didn't leave dirt in the fireplace. The cabin was cozy and comfortable. The king size bed has definitely been slept on one side more than the other - it was like rolling uphill to get to the middle. Something, that had nothing to do with the cabin, that would discourage us from staying here again is that neighbors 2 - 3 doors down have four large dogs that barked all the time. This became annoying, especially when you want to sit on the porch and enjoy the trickling sound of the creek, or even sleeping in the morning.

We were very pleased with this property and the owners. They were very friendly and helpful. Only problem, my husband spent two night in the local hospital due to infection that had nothing to do with our stay. He did not get a chance to enjoy our stay. We will go back again.

My husband and I wanted to go back to Maggie Valley and stay for a few days. We had a wonderful time and the cabin was absolutely wonderful. We were blessed to have elk come up close to the back yard a few times. It was a great and wonderful time.

This cabin is clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. We had everything we needed for our stay. The location is convenient and easily accessible with a motorcycle. The backyard mountain view is gorgeous! We even had the pleasure of meeting the owners who live catty-corner from the backyard :) They encouraged us to let them know if we had any issues during our stay (everything was perfect).

The cabin was perfect. It was located close to restaurants, Wheels Through Time museum, Cherokee Reservation and shopping. It was clean, well equiped with beautiful views. The only issue I had was the stairs. They weren't listed and I didn't ask. But I was able to manuver through. Linda is a perfect host.

We were searching for a nice place to retire. After searching all over Western North Carolina we settled in Maggie Valley. There was just something about this small town we really liked. Friendly people and small town living. My husband was a telephone repairman and I was a nurse. We worked hard to get where we are today. We have yours, mine and ours children. Four daughters and so proud of each one of them.

We bought this cabin when we first arrived in Maggie Valley. We have enjoyed the years we lived in the cabin and made many friends seasonally and permanently. When summer comes it is like a "summer retreat." We still live in Maggie Valley. I wanted to keep this cabin and let others make great memories and enjoy what we had experienced.

Das macht diese Unterkunft einzigartig

You are looking up at the mountains which means you can bike or walk anywhere especially to the restaurants, park across from Campbell Creek, churches, etc. Since it is a one story house there are only two steps in garage into the kitchen. Having a garage when it rains or snows is excellent and easy to bring in groceries. We get a nice breeze during the spring/summer/fall months.... hardly used the A/C. But it is there for you if you need it. It is a nice setting and you can hear the church chimes during the day from your screened-in porch. Minutes to casino in Cherokee and lots of places to go visit .... Gatlinburg, Asheville, etc. We are motorcycle friendly with a garage to store you bikes.
