Meine Kabine bietet alles, was Sie brauchen, einen privaten Whirlpool, Kabel-TV, WIFI, Klimaanlage und vieles mehr. Von der Veranda aus können Sie den Klang und die Aussicht auf den Johnson Branch Creek genießen, der an die Unterkunft angrenzt. Die Honeymoon-Kabine verfügt über kabelloses Internet, bringen Sie Ihren Laptop mit und arbeiten Sie überall auf dem Grundstück, sitzen Sie auf Ihrem Deck oder am Bach.
Die Hütte befindet sich 1 1/2 Meile von der Hauptstraße in Maggie Valley auf einer Höhe von 3200 Fuß. Zu den Wildtieren zählen Elche, Hirsche und Truthähne. Natürlich gibt es keine Garantie, dass sie während Ihres Aufenthalts vorbeikommen.

Quiet and restful vacay!

The cabin was very clean and the property was well maintained. The stream just outside the cabin was very peaceful and calming. This was just the distressing and comfy vacation that my wife and I needed. Madeleine was a really nice and helpful property manager. We had an amazing stay!

My week in Maggie Valley

Property was immaculate. Grounds were well kept. Everything in the cabin worked as it should. Location was convenient for the activities we had planned. Loved the sound of the stream near the cabin.

Ski Weekend

The house was immaculately clean and it was exactly what we expected from the listing. We stayed while enjoying a ski weekend at Cataloochee which was 20 min door to door! We would definitely consider this place again!

Great cabin

Perfect for a last minute getaway. My husband and I enjoyed having the creek we could sit by or hear from the porch while sipping a drink together. All the tools we needed for cooking were readily available for use in the kitchen. Everything was just as described.

Highly recommended

It was a very clean cabin located convenient to Maggie Valley yet privately nestled along a stream. The sounds of the water in the creek were so relaxing. The hot tub was amazing. It had everything we could need for a couples getaway. I am looking forward to booking this again soon!

Cozy Cabin

Nice and quaint. Conveniently located within the town limits. This cabin is small but it worked for us for the most part. Pros- Communication with owner was excellent. And the cabin was clean. The bedding and towels that were supplied were sufficient for our stay. The cabin is well maintained and clean. Parking situation was not bad at all, if you follow the instructions. Theres a loft for the kiddies if you're okay with them climbing a ladder to get to it. Cons- Hot tub was small. (a 2 person tub) If your a larger person take this into consideration. Water displacement is a thing. We drink a lot of coffee, the small coffee pot was a pia, but again we worked with it. The trash situation was not what were used to. So be aware you'll need to take your trash to the dump even though theres a garbage can outside. Overall I would stay here again.

All I can say, is outstanding everything was perfect.

Everything was smooth as silk booking the room ,directions. Everything was in order and spotless. Communication with the owner was second to none. No issues at all. I would highly recommend staying here.

Pure serenity

It was the perfect little hide away for my husband and I. It was private, peaceful and very beautiful. Madeleine was a wonderful host, she was always available and/or quick to respond and very pleasant to talk with. We absolutely would stay at the honeymoon cabin again.

Madeline was a great hostess and was very clear about what was in the property and what was not, it was a perfect hide away from me and my boyfriend without being too far from anything. Would love to have that heater in my bathroom at home!

Relaxing

The Honeymoon Cabin is an ideal spot to relax and reset. It is perfect for a couple or a young family. The loft will enchant children and the adults will enjoy the babbling brook just beside the cabin. The proprietor has though of every thing needed while at the cabin. We grilled steaks for friends who live nearby one evening. It is close to everything in the area. Highly recommend!!

This place lacks a lot that most people expect.

The location is nice though Maggie Valley leaves a lot to be desired. There was n o dishwasher or garbage pick-up. The owner made a big deal about having an extra person though I thought she got my initial note saying we could have up to five people total. We did not have enough towels for two people and there were 3 of us. The owner came in thinking we were not there.. We had ice trays but no ice holder. VRBO needs to do a better job of showing all conditions up front. The property owner had notes everywhere telling what to do and how to do it. One note said your guests are not my guests. Well we have friends in nearby Waynesville that we might have invited for a visit. The AC could not keep up and seemed to be preprogramed so you could not turn it cooler for sleeping. Only one night was uncomfortable with windows open but it wasn't very accommodating. We were asked to close inside doors when we were away to reduce energy costs. Garbage dump was 7 miles away but there was garbage pick-up in the neighborhood which the owner could have used. One note said don't run AC while cooking. Unbelievable. The bed was hard as a rock and the pillow shams stunk from body odor. I will not go through VRBO again due to poor communication.

Quiet Get-Away

The cabin was perfect for our stay. It was cozy and quiet. We loved the nearby stream as our background noise for the week, and the hot tub to relax after long hikes in the woods. We enjoyed the privacy offered by the stream and trees surrounding the cabin. The fire ring down the hill was a beautiful nightly activity. On our first night, we had trouble sleeping due to the mattress being different that our own. We bought memory foam at WalMart and the owner willingly reimbursed us for it. She went out of her way to be sure we were comfortable. The amount of space was perfect for 4 of us.

Cute winter getaway

The cabin was adorable and was very clean and stocked for our arrival! We found everything in good working order and given our very cold weather for the trip we appreciated the bathroom heater! The cabin is surrounded by woods and you can hear the creek all around. It feels like you are middle of nowhere despite being less than five minutes from town. Madeleine was kind and came to help us out of a couple sticky situations in the snow and allowed our children to sled on the property. It was a little disappointing to not be able to use the woodstove on our last night there and having to take the trash into town on Saturday in the snow was A little inconvenient. The listing could definitely use information about needing to have four-wheel-drive to access the cabin as we almost couldn’t make it back in due to the snow at one point. Overall, it was the perfect Wintry getaway for a Florida family looking for some snowy fun. You can tell Madeleine takes great pride in her properties!
