Atemberaubende Villa mit drei Schlafzimmern im traditionellen Dorf Kokkino Chorio, Chania, Kreta, Griechenland.

Die Villa profitiert von einem Panoramablick auf die Bucht von Souda, die Ägäis und die Weißen Berge. Versteckt in einer kurvenreichen Fahrt liegt die Villa auf einem weitläufigen Gelände mit vielen Olivenbäumen und profitiert von einem privaten Pool mit großer Terrasse. Die Gäste haben auch einen eingebauten Grill am Pool mit separaten überdachten Essbereich mit Beleuchtung und Strom. Das Hauptschlafzimmer der Villa verfügt über einen angrenzenden Balkon mit Blick auf die Bucht - die perfekte Kulisse für abendliche Drinks bei Sonnenuntergang. Alle Schlafzimmer haben einen eigenen Zugang zu Terrassen und Klimaanlage.

Zu den nahe gelegenen Städten gehören Plaka, Almyrida und Kalyves, die alle eine große Auswahl an Bars und Restaurants bieten, die traditionelle und europäische Küche servieren. Die nächsten Restaurants sind 5 Minuten entfernt. fahren Sie den Berg im Dorf Kokkino Chorio hinunter. Super Urlaub

Sehr gepflegtes Haus

We spent 10 wonderful days in the villa. It offers beautiful views and a wonderful swimming pool to spend the days in. The villa is spacious and quiet, and one can easily tranquil in it. The owners were very friendly and helpful, and responded to our questions quickly .

Relaxing stay in a peaceful location

The villa was great. The pool was fabulous. We had such a great stay, nice and relaxing. We visited Chania, Kalyvaki beach and the surrounding villages. The bedrooms had air conditioning which was extremely welcome. There were plenty of sun loungers and areas to seek shade. We had a great time and the owners were very responsive to any questions or queries.

A lovely Villa in a great location

A lovely Villa with extensive outdoor space and a good sized swimming pool that was cleaned twice a week. A fantastic location in the hills above Plaka with beautiful views of Souda Bay with the setting sun on one side and the white mountains on the other. We have a lovely relaxing two weeks and would not hesitate to recommend to others looking for peace and tranquility in beautiful Crete.

And relax.........

What a wonderful, peaceful place! The villa was just as described, but the views and sunsets have to be experienced to be appreciated. The pool was very welcome, as was the mountain breeze, and immaculately clean. The villa had everything we needed for our stay. Despite its rural location, everything we needed was only a short drive away. Although we spent time at the beach in Almyrida, and visited Chania, its definatelt worth a trip inland to visit the small villages in the area. Elpis in Plaka was our favorite place to eat, they really look after you! If you're after a comfortable, peaceful, relaxing holiday, then look no further

Fraaie comfortable villa met prachtig uitzicht in rustige omgeving

The villa of Richard and Debby is een comfortabele villa, voorzien van alle gemakken: elke slaapkamer heeft zijn eigen airco en terras. 2 badkamers, een royale woonkamer en buiten verschillende plaatsen waar je kunt zitten, relaxen en genieten van het prachtige uitzicht over de zee. Het zwembad is comfortabel om te zwemmen, om af te koelen. Ook is er een fijne bbq plaats. De villa staat in het achterland, tegen de bergwand aan. Het is de eerste keer even een puzzeltocht om de woning te vinden. De aanwijzingen van google earth waren uiteindelijk de oplossing voor ons. De woning staat een beetje buiten het dorp. Een auto heb je dus echt nodig. Voor supermarkten moet je de berg af naar het dorp; in Almeryda vonden wij de fijnste supermarkt, ongeveer 15 minuten rijden. Op circa 10 minuten zitten enkele fijne tavernes zoals Elpis. Chania is op ongeveer 45 minuten rijden. Het uitzicht is wondermooi. Standaard zaten wij elke avond boven op het terras te genieten van zonsondergang, zee en uitzicht.

Sunset boulevard

We arrived at night time and got lost. Haha. We should have googled st georges retreat and this takes you straight to the villa which is opposite. The villa is spacious clean and tidy with all the untensils you need. 2 showers, WC .which is good. The pool is nice size. And once you get used to the pesk wasps coming for a drink. Its so inviting and lovely and clean. Pool man Steve came about 4 times to check and clean. Which is great. The sunsets. Really. This is something you have to see yourself, from the villa. Truly beautiful. Car is essential as steep hills and roads, and is required to get to the beaches and supermarkets etc. Could do with a television for viewing other than DVD,s only. Locally there are a handful of good tavernas, serving lovely meals and drinks. We had days out, visiting. Kalyves, georgiopoli, almridya, Chania, luminopolis for the water park. ( excuse my spelling haha) Vamos, kounas lake. Swimming with horses. Went free diving and spear fishing with local Simos. (Cretan free diver) lives in kokkini chorio. Local restaurant in almridya cooked the fish we caught. For 20 euro. Big meal. Outstanding All in all. This is an excellent enjoyable area to discover and explore, if your brave enough driving on some dodgy roads, haha. Get lost in the mountains. Find a village. True Cretan. Richard and Debbie owners very responsive and local property managers on hand if required. Excellent. Booking recommended

Great Villa

Super sized pool. We were there during end of season, but it was fantastic weather , and the local beach and sea was great, water was so warm and clear. The Villa was so quiet and peaceful, and a fantastic view over the bay. Lots of places to visit not too far away, and plenty of small supermarkets quite close. Villa is fully equipped. Car is essential. Thanks for a lovely holiday.

Perfect break after difficult 18 months

We were quite nervous about travelling for the first time after Covid - it was an ideal location as it was secluded yet a short drive to restaurants and beaches. Pool was clean and big for a private rental. We had a few issues during our stay but they were sorted quickly and with a smile by the managers. Very grateful for the opportunity to escape England!

We had a lovely stay in this very well equipped villa, it felt like home the minute we stepped in, really appreciated the lovely welcome treats and necessities left for us on our arrival, the pool is a very good size and there’s plenty of seating areas, a car is essential for getting out and exploring the beautiful hidden beaches and surrounding towns, all the locals were so friendly and welcoming, this is a wonderful villa in a beautiful secluded area if you just feel like shutting yourself away from the world. *+*+*+

Agréable séjour

Maison agréable et pratique, tout le nécessaire pour passer une semaine de vacances en famille. Nota la maison est mitoyenne par une terrasse à l'étage avec vu plongeante chez le voisin. pas d'autres vis à vis, seul le bruit des autres locataires (couvert en journée par les cigales) . Nécessité d'avoir un véhicule car la maison est isolée. Les enfants ont beaucoup apprécié la piscine.

Beautiful setting with everything we needed.

We stayed at villa Maios for 2 weeks in August 2020. From the outset the hosts were amazing. We had great directions to find the villa and when we arrived we received goodies to welcome us. Any issues or questions were dealt with very swiftly and this lead to us having such an enjoyable stay. The villa is well presented with lovely furnishings inside and out. The pool is a great size for our family (3 busy boys). The outdoor seating is a great size and the bbq is fantastic. We were often torn between eating in or out as the sunset and views when we ate in were spectacular. The villa is a few minute drive from the well stocked shop and a beautiful little cove. We’d love to return and would definitely recommend it to others.

Beautiful villa in quiet setting

Stayed for a week in this villa which was beautiful. Stunning location and gorgeous view of the bay and mountains. Lovely villages to explore nearby and found the best bakery in Alymirda which we visited for breakfast a few times. The children loved the swimming pool which was a really good size. Would definitely recommend this

Lovely villa owners with the most cleanest pool ever !!

From start to finish the communication with Richard & Debbie was excellent. The villa is huge much bigger than the photos with stunning views all the way around. The pool was sparkling clean every day & the property managers Stelios & Maria are so lovely. The villa is set on a hillside with the most amazing views of the sea & mountains.
