There were several things about Las Brisas 308 that were better than expected: the price was less that most comparable beachfront condos; the condo is huge, the living room comfortably sat the whole family, the kitchen is large, the master bedroom is spacious; the view from the balcony was beautiful, even though you can see the side of two buildings (not a big deal); we used the beach chairs and sand toys, and would have used more beach stuff if the weather had cooperated. The location was excellent- very close to the causeway that led to Walmart (just a five minute drive) and practically any other store we needed.
However, there was one major drawback, which greatly affected our experience: the bed in the master bedroom was so uncomfortable. My husband and I could feel the springs of the bed. Every time we moved, the bed creaked loudly, and on top of that, there was a plastic mattress protector that sounded like we were rolling around on a sheet of wrapping paper. By the fifth night, we couldn't take the pain and lack of sleep any more, so we switched places with our daughter; we slept on the couches and we made her sleep on our bed. I wish we would have done that after the first night, which would have made our stay much more enjoyable.
