It's always a bit scary renting any accommodations for fear of what you might find, but this place but this one did not disappoint.
We stayed for 2 weeks, beautiful house and location. The distance to the ocean is 1 mile almost exactly (I run) and is an EASY walk, (make sure you take the windy path). I recommend if you're going to the beach, go to the state park (it's free house has a pass), because there is tons of parking there. If you go to Vanderbuilt there is zero parking, and if you find it, you pay. You can also walk to Vanderbuilt beach from state park, just park in the first lot you come to, it's just a bit more down the beach. House comes with tons of bikes, beach chairs, beach umbrella's, beach towels, I mean they pretty much have everything you need. Which reminds me, there wasn't that thing to drill a hole in the ground for the beach umbrella, make sure you get that.
As far as house, looks like it's brand new. Could use some extra counter space to prepare food. Perhaps, a portable wooden counter block or something. Fully stocked kitchen with plates, dishes, cooking utensils, Keurig, and everything you need to live. Two (2) huge refrigerators in kitchen, with another refrigerator/ freezer in garage.
The house seemed to get warm in the afternoon until bedtime, we couldn't get it below 75. Now, that being said, it wasn't hot in there by any means (it's a small house), and most days we weren't even home. We had a few small issues with pool but the owners always responded immediately. They even came over to check the temp of air to ensure it was working.
I would totally rent this house again. I highly recommend it.
