Best of both worlds family vacay

Love that this house is located between a lake and the beach! You can sit on the screened in backporch and hear and watch the waves roll in. You can also sit on the front porch and watch mullet skip across the lake. There’s a pier our grandsons loved fishing from at the lake. House has a great set up. 4 bedrooms with 2 tub/showeres and 4 toilets!! Things were clean for the most part but felt they could have been even cleaner. Coffee pot needed to be cleaner, potholders were dirty, little things like that. Smoke detector kept going off but I called and someone came and fixed it. Was disappointed because someone showed up at the door and said they were there to fix the dryer. We had no idea they were coming. We had plans and one didn’t get to participate because he didn’t want to leave him there by himself. A heads up would have been nice. Overall, a great place to stay with a great location with your own little strip of private beach.
