Away from touristy areas

We wanted to be away from crowded tourist areas and this location was perfect. Metro and bus stops close so easy to get where we wanted and still enjoy regular neighborhood. Large apartment, comfy beds, well equipped kitchen, fairly quiet. We enjoyed our stay here.

Lovely Apartment

We really enjoyed our stay here. The apartment was all we could have wished for--clean, spacious, and well-appointed. We loved the market at the end of the street and walked everywhere. Metro was also close. Jacques was wonderful to communicate with before and during our stay.

Hello Phillip Thank you for your nice comment on our apartment. When at the distance from our apartment to Notre Dame by Bus 72 at one minute from our apartment the journey time is 35 minutes to Paris it is rather reasonable and the view along the Seine is magnificent. Jacques.

Excellent Neighborhood and Wonderful Host

Great apartment in the lower 16th. Was a little concerned being so far away from the center of Paris, but getting to the center was so easy. Metro at Porte Saint-Cloud is just a few minute walk way. Also on Rue De Versailles (the next street over), there is a wonderful market on Tuesday and Sunday. The kitchen is well equipped and everything in the apartment worked perfectly.

Great apartment, delightful hosts

We made the booking just days before going and Jacques was very easy to work with. He and Danielle met us at the apartment to explain everything to us.. The apartment was spotlessly clean, the kitchen very well equiped., the bed comfortable and the shower excellent. The underground parking was great, we just left the car there and caught the bus everywhere. Lovely market right outside 3 times a week, and lots of small suprmarkets, Large Carrefour in walking distance. All in all a great apartment.

Perfect Place to Stay in Paris

We spent a week at Jacques apartment in Paris and it was wonderful! It had everything we needed and had a very Paris feel, without being in one of the more crowded areas. The bus and trains were both within short walking distances and easy to use. We also had a car since there is parking available if you make arrangements with Jacques ahead of time. Driving in Paris is an experience, and not one I'd recommend, but it was nice to go to Versailles (the palace is a must-see) and also to Normandy. Michele was the neighbor/property-manager that helped us check-in and even saved us when we locked ourselves out. There were a few days with some building repairs going on that kept our teens from sleeping in, but not a big deal and certainly just part of living in a large city. Would we stay here again, absolutely!! Thank you, Jacques! Paris made a lasting impression on us and we hope to be back sometime!

On the west of Paris and close to the metro

The place is spacious, very well kept, and safe. The two bedrooms have lots of closet space, the beds very comfortable. The lighting in all the rooms is very good and there is no lack of electrical outlets. The kitchen is superior: lots of crockery, glasses, cutlery. A washing machine and a drier, a dish washing machine, coffee maker, toaster and more. Previous occupants leave stuff so, on arriving one doesn't have to stock up on everything. If you finish the coffee get another one. A couple of minutes away there is a supermarket and 2 boulangeries (I recommend the baguette céréale). And best of all, the open air market on Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday. Sample the cheeses, the fish, the fruit and vegetables. There are 2 metro stations 5 minutes away and buses pass in front of the house. A real home away from home.

30 Days in Paris

Our apartment was located in, I believe the 15 Arrondissement of Paris. It was located in a perfect area for us. Getting into the building was like Fort Knox which is what we wanted. It was within walking distance to the Farmers Market, grocery stores, pharmacies, McDonalds (LOL) and the Seine River. You can walk everywhere. The apartment’s only “concern” was the sofa was a bit hard on the back as well as the chairs in the living and dining rooms. The beds were very comfy and everything was just as it was to be. Only concern was a problem with the WiFi for the first 1-2 days but Michelle and Jacque had it handled after it was realized it was not operational. Jacque has a book that examines everything about the apartment and your questions could be found in there. We plan on returning to purchase a property in Paris and when we do, we’ll most definitely seek our home away from from with Jacque!!!

Our vacation in Paris was wonderful. We had a good time in the apartment and in the city. The apartment is nice, clean and comfortable. Everything works well. The bus stop is only a few meters from the apartment, so it’s easy to get to all sights. The quarter around the apartment is also nice to explore. Immer wieder!!!

Die Wohnung ist genau wie angegeben. Groß, schön und hat eine super Ausstattung. Es fehlt wirklich an nichts. Geschlafen haben wir traumhaft. Man fühlt sich sofort wohl und heimisch. Die Gegend ist ruhig und doch zentral. Bus um die Ecke, Metro 5 Minuten, Supermarkt 3 Minuten. Toller Markt und wir sind nur sehr lieben und netten Menschen dort begegnet. Der Vermieter ist schon fast fürsorglich. Im Vorfeld kommen schon viele gute Tips. Dann wird eine gute Reise gewünscht. Er fragt nach ob man gut angekommen ist und alles geklappt hat. Ganz toll!!! Und die kleine Dame von der Schlüsselübergabe war so nett und herzlich. Man fühlt sich wie bei Freunden und das spiegelt die Wohnung wieder. Es war wunderschön und wir können diese Wohnung nur weiter empfehlen.

tolle Wohnung

Die Wohnung ist in einem sehr guten Zustand. Uns gefällt die Lage am Rande der Stadt, dafür aber in der Nähe eines tollen Marktes, der 3mal pro Woche stattfindet. Direkt vor der Tür fahren zwei Buslinien mit guten Verbindungen zu den Sehenswürdigkeiten. Auch Metro und die RER Richtung Versailles sind zu Fuß gut erreichbar. Wir haben diese Wohnung schon zum zweiten Mal angemietet und können sie nur empfehlen!

More than excellent!

If I could rate higher than excellent, I would. The property owner was helpful, kind and we communicated often. He was a dream to rent from. The apartment was spotless and was nice than the photos. It was comfortable and had everything we needed. The location was excellent, with markets 3 times a week just a block away. Metro was close and easy to use. Restaurant on the corner, La Cantina, was very good as well. We had such a great experience with this rental, we will definitely be back!

Lovely Paris Apartment in the 16th Arrondissement

We loved our beautifully appointed apartment located in a majestic building with excellent security. We were on a quiet street very conveniently located near buses, metro and outdoor market twice a week. The apartment had high tech appliances in a modern kitchen and our bathroom was also updated. Bedrooms were lovely and very comfortable. We had air-conditioning and electric heat. We would definitely book this apartment again if we visit Paris in the future.

Pros - Owner was very prompt and helpful with his responses. Apartment is great - spacious, clean and well-equipped. Location is excellent in regards to metro and bus. Having two air-conditioned bedrooms was great. Cons - A few minor things. Would have liked detailed instructions in English on how to operate the appliances but we figured it out so not a big deal. Air-conditioner in one bedroom was really loud but that's how it is when it's not centralized air-conditioning. We were just happy there was AC. Overall deserves a 5 star rating.

Thank you Sonal for your comment   We will improve the explanation in English on electrical appliances. When on air conditioning one of the rooms is totally silent the second to a slight noise but by 107 Fahrenheit it must have been very useful. Very few apartments in Paris are air-conditioned. This apartment is cosy and well-appointed, in a luxury building. Second floor, with elevator and air conditioning. In a safe area, just 20mn by walk from the Eiffel Tower. Our building is situated in a nice, safe and quiet area near the Seine banks, Eiffel Tower and Bois de Boulogne. We enjoy quality sleep with no noise, delicious bread and croissants for breakfast or brunch thanks to the very best bakeries, a popular sunday morning market, SPAs, restaurants, and well we're close to every attraction of Paris and Versailles!
