Das Ferienhaus befindet sich in einer angesehenen Gegend von Marina di Ragusa, in leicht erhöhter Lage über dem Meeresspiegel, eingebettet in einer ruhigen und eleganten Umgebung. Die Villa ist ca. 300 Meter vom Strand entfernt und ist dennoch in der Nähe des lebhaften und zentralen Bereiches des Ortes, welcher zu Fuß in ca. 10-15 Minuten erreicht werden kann.
Die Haupt-Räume des Hauses liegen im Erdgeschoss, jedoch haben Sie die Möglichkeit weitere gemütliche Räumlichkeiten im „Tavernetta“ Stil (rustikal) zu nutzen, welche sich im Untergeschoss befinden. Das Haupt-Stockwerk bietet Klimaanlage, WLAN und Satellitenfernsehen.
Der einladende Garten mit englischem Rasen, einem eleganten privaten Swimmingpool mit Fernbedienung um die Beleuchtung einzustellen sowie das große Sonnendeck aus Stein, gewährleistet Ihnen einige ruhige Tage, ganz im Zeichen der totalen Entspannung. Außerdem steht Ihnen auch ein Parkplatz für 2 Fahrzeuge zur Verfügung, der mit einem automatischen Tor gesichert ist.

Die Villa liegt inmitten des barocken Herzens von „Val di Noto“, ein Gebiet welches von der UNESCO aufgrund seiner Barock-Gebäude zum Weltkulturerbe erklärt wurde. Das Haus ist ein idealer Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge zu den touristischen Sehenswürdigkeiten, sowohl im Landesinneren, als auch an der Küste. Von Marina di Ragusa aus erreicht man auch Scicli (12 km), Ibla (18 km), Modica (30 km), Noto (70 km) und alle Orte des berühmten „Fernseh-Kommissars“ Montalbano (TV-Verfilmung der Romane von Andrea Camillieri). Auch Tagesausflüge zum Ätna (135 km) sowie zum „Valle dei Templi“ bei Agrigento (139 km) sind möglich. Einfach zu erreichen sind auch Siracusa (106 km) und Taormina (182 km), berühmt für ihre griechischen Theater.
Abgesehen von dem neuen und gut ausgestatteten Jachthafen Marina di Ragusa, welcher ideal ist um vor Ort Boote zu mieten, befindet sich nicht weit entfernt auch der Hafen von Pozzallo (32 km), von wo man direkte Verbindung mit dem Tragflächenboot zur Insel Malta hat. Die Nähe der Villa zu zwei 18-Loch Golfplätzen des Donnfugata-Golfresorts ermöglicht es, den Urlaub am Meer mit der Golf-Leidenschaft zu kombinieren.

Lovely villa, with an amazing pool and in the perfect location - close to beach and restaurants. The town of Marina Di Ragusa is very Italian and very family orientated. We had a very relaxing week and Carmelo was kind enough to recommend and book a local restaurant for us, and the food was delicious! We can highly recommend this villa and Sicily in general. Wonderful property with beautiful pool & garden

Brilliant villa and a really gorgeous pool. We stayed as a family of 5 adults (3 aged 18-21) and wanted somewhere convenient for bars & restaurants but still quiet and secluded. The villa offers all that and perfect privacy with 3 bedrooms, all en-suite. The bathrooms are lovely and the kitchen / lounge really comfortable and sociable. If returning to this area, I’d definitely book again.

We had a fabulous stay at Villa Virginia, which exceeded our expectations. The pool is much bigger than it looks on the photos - it was a highlight of the holiday. The villa is well located, being able to walk to restaurants, but having bikes to use was a great idea, and these were used to pop to the beach. The villa was clean, and the beds were very comfortable. Communication was clear and effective, and we received extra support on our late arrival. Overall, we had a fantastic time, and if returning to Marina Di Ragusa we would choose this villa! I would highly recommend staying here.

Lovely villa in great location

This is a lovely villa, with a great pool and private outdoor space/garden. Inside is clean and stylish with an open plan living space. The bed was very comfortable and the a/c in every room was perfect. There are enough pots, utensils and equipment to make your own meals. 2 supermarkets nearby. The walk into Marina di Ragusa along the front is lovely and traffic free, with plenty of places to eat/drink at along the way. 15 mins walk into the centre. Would recommend

Amazing villa with beautiful garden and pool

There is really not much we can add to all the great reviews this beautiful villa and it's owners already received. It's all true!:-) The villa is just perfect. It has a great pool which is big enough for really taking a swim, a very well cared for and beautiful garden and a spotlessly clean, stylish & comfortable interior. You can also walk to a really good beach in a couple of minutes. In addition to that the villa was already stocked with everything you might need to enjoy your stay. It is the best vacation home we ever rented and we hope to return soon. Thank you very much Sara & Sandro for your hospitality.

Ein tolles modernes Ferienhaus/Ferienvilla mit allen Bequemlichkeiten die man sich nur vorstellen kann. Bei unserer Ankunft wurden wir sehr nett von einem der beiden Vermieter begrüßt und eingewiesen. Das Haus war sehr sauber und verfügt über drei Schlafzimmer mit "eigenem" Bad. Die Bäder sind im Übrigen noch sehr neu und in Sizilien eine moderne Ausnahme. Auch die Wohnbereiche, samt Klimaanlagen in allen wichtigen Räumen, lassen keine Wünsche offen. Der goßzügige Pool ist bestens zum Schwimmen geeignet und das gesamte Außengelände des Hauses einfach nur schön. Hervorheben kann ich den Einsatz der Vermieter, die bei Problemen oder Fragen sofort zur Stelle waren und sich wirklich gekümmert haben. Wir hatten eine tolle Woche in der "Villa Virginia" und können diese nur wärmstens empfehlen. Im Übrigen sind der Strand, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Restaurants mit wenigen Schritten schnell zu erreichen.

Sauberes, gepflegtes und modernes Haus zum Relaxen

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Das Haus ist gut gelegen, der Strand und das Zentrum von Marina di Ragusa ist genauso gut fußläufig zu erreichen, wie der Bäcker und zwei (größere) Supermärkte. Der Vermieter ist im Umgang freundlich und entgegenkommend. Der Pool hat seinen Namen als solches verdient und in ihm kann nicht nur geplanscht werden. Die Bäder sind das modernste, was ich bislang auf Sizilien gesehen habe. Jedes Schlafzimmer hat abgetrennt vom großen Wohn-, Essbereich sein eigenes Bad im Zimmer. Auf jeden Fall empfehlenswert.

We had a perfect week of late October sunshine. The Villa ticked all the boxes: - walking distance to the beach and restaurants - really good sized pool - good location overall for exploring the surrounding area - well equipped, clean and plenty of space for all. I would definitely recommend!

Fabulous villa, beautiful location and perfect hosts

We have just returned from a wonderful 2 weeks at this property. We read the impressive reviews before booking and can only add to what others have said. The villa is in a quiet location with a very private garden and beautiful pool, but is only a few minutes’ walk from the beach and town with numerous bars and restaurants. Carmelo could not have been more helpful and responsive, particularly when our son needed to see an emergency dentist. Absolutely first class all round and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend … or return!

The house is beautiful and brilliantly located with easy walkable access to beach, restaurants and the lovely town of Marina di Ragusa. The pool was warm, the aircon invaluable in a hot week, and a smart TV to keep the teens happy. We have stayed in villas all over Europe over the years and this was the best. Wonderful. Thank you .

Perfect Villa - Perfect Location

My wife and I spent 3 weeks at this villa in June 2022. The villa is lovely. It has nice grounds with plenty of patio and grass area for sunbathing or shade. The pool is "L" shaped and has coloured lighting for sitting out of an evening or for when having a BBQ. The villa itself has just about everything you would want for self catering and there is Aircon in all 3 bedrooms and the lounge. There is even 2 bikes if you wanted to go out for a ride - there is a cycle lane running all the way along the beach front which could be used. This is currently being extended so there is a couple of miles to safe cycle if you wanted. The villa is very private with hedging around the garden and there are 3 gates (1 remote for the car) meaning when shut you are safe as they self lock. It also means kids cannot get out. When you go out of the villa you are in a short access road. At the bottom of this road simply turn right and right again and you can find your way down onto the beach front (2 minutes walk) or you can go into town further along the front (6 - 8 minutes walk). We liked the stroll into town as you can leave the car and enjoy your cocktails or wine without having to worry about driving back. The town square and roads leading off are all full of bars and restaurants so you can take your pick of many. Fantastic!!! There is MD Supermarket only 5 min walk away as you head into town and a Euro Spar (very good indeed) a 15 min walk away or a couple of minutes by car. If you want to see the capital Palermo I would recommend doing what we did, drive there one day, stay overnight in a lovely little hotel in the centre and then come back the next day. The drive is about 5 hours each way. We did the same when we visited Mt Etna and Stayed in Catarnia. Seek out the cable car (about 15 euros each) which takes you from the base upto about 2,500 ft. Great views of lava flows and of course Mt Edna smoking away as it does most of the time. Carmelo and Mariana were brilliant, just a phone call away if we wanted to ask them anything about the villa. We had a lovely break at this lovely villa - I would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone.

Great place to stay

The villa is exactly as described - very comfortable and well designed for a bigger group. The pool is huge and very private, the house as well, and close to all facilities. The owner is very helpful if you need anything. We stayed there with 4 adults, which is very luxury with 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. I would recommend it to everybody. If you stay t here, pay a visit to Umore on the central square, for the best cocktails in town.

Fabulous Villa - Fabulous Owners

The villa was very modern and very well presented. The owner was reluctant to have the swimming pool opened as it was April but as soon as I asked him to reconsider he did and the pool was magnificent (although he was right it was cold due to the time of year). The villa is circa 200m down a fairly steep hill to the beach which is fantastic. The villa was very secure and very well appointed. The owner had even put out three bicycles to use during our stay which was an added bonus. Stunning villa, lovely location and beautiful area of Sicily, we would have no hesitation in using this villa again and we are contemplating going back August next year. Lovely spacious villa near the sea

We really enjoyed our holiday in Villa Virginia. It is very spacious and confortable, with a lovely pool, with plenty of loungers, and a private, well kept garden with lots of room for the children to play. The villa is just as described by the pictures, and as well as the 3 ensuite bathrooms there is an external shower with wc. It is very well equipped and both bathroom and swimming towels were provided. All the sheets were changed mid week. There is private parking for 2 cars. It is very well located in a quiet residential area, but close to shops, beach and restaurants, and a 15 minute walk to the centre. Communication with the owners was impeccable via WhatsApp. I cannot recommend this property too highly.

Wonderful villa

The villa is located in a nice and quiet neighborhood. It’s spacious, clean and everything you could possibly need is at hand. The garden is lovely with a beautiful dining area. The large swimming pool was very clean and refreshing. The villa is a small walking distance away from a supermarket and the sea. We would absolutely recommend staying in villa Virginia!

What an amazing villa

We couldn't have hoped for a better experience. The villa owner met us at the property and explained all the features, the photos do not do the pool justice, it was so beautiful. The whole villa is gorgeous. Really clean and spacious. The host was awesome, he was able to answer all our questions, and made us feel so very welcome. Thankyou for the amazing adventure we had. Highly recommended anyone to stay here :)

Wonderful experience - we will be back

We were warmly greeted by Ennio who showed us round the house. The property is stunning, super clean and is well equipped, lacking nothing. The location is perfect, restaurants and the beach in walking distance. We spent wonderful days here, enjoyed the pool which is simply fabulous, Ennio even provided inflatable mattresses for the pool on request. Thank you! The only shortcoming was the noisy neighbour who decided to rebuild the garden just when we were there. Nevertheless, we highly recommend this property and will surely be back for a longer stay!

Fantastic villa.. amazing pool .. great little beach resort.

Very simple process, excellent communication with owner. Spotless and spacious. Games equipment and cycles provided too, though everywhere in Marina di Ragusa is eqsily walkable.
