The apartment is beautiful, with outstanding location close to everything, and all the amenities one could want or need. We are 5 adults and had plenty of space also. Chiara is a wonderful host, so much attention to detail and service, helpful advice, and warm reception and excellent communication on everything. We had a fantastic stay — 5 stars plus! Flat was in a great location near a lively, untouristy square. Note that you will need to carry suitcases not only up the one flight of steps to the flat but also over at least two bridges on the way to the flat. Restaurant next door was noticeably noisy but quieted down by 10pm. Flat was well appointed and comfortable.

Good spot in a nice non touristy area

Near a Campo with lots of locals, several good restaurants, gelato, grocery store. As mentioned in some reviews, lots of noise at night from the bar next door. Only 11 minute walk to train station, 5 minute walk to Vaporetto (water bus)

True local Venice vibe

We liked the are in a residential non-tourist part of town. 2 Restaurants on the narrow street just below our windows were noisy till 11:00 pm but sounded like fun. Easy access walking to everything. Nice central location for getting the vibe of Venice without the tourist hype.

Lovely apartment

The apartment was a good location easy to walk everywhere. Plenty of room for our family of 4 including daughters. The apartment is across from a bar/restaurant so it was noisy in the evening until midnight. At midnight, the customers leave and it is quiet. The crowd at the bar/restaurant was respectful and not a problem to walk through them to get into the apartment. Just a bit loud for a few hours when we wanted to rest.

Very cute apartment. It had everything we needed. Large kitchen that is very well stocked if you wanted to dine in. Nice large living area to gather in. Excellent restaurant across the street. We would recomend booking here.

The apartment itself was nice and comfortable, but there were a few drawbacks. The washing machine doesn’t have a drying function, which was inconvenient. The biggest issue, however, was the noise — every evening from around 6 PM to 11 PM, people gathered right outside the entrance, drinking and talking loudly due to the bar across the building. It made it very difficult to for the kids to sleep before 11PM.

Awesome Venice Apartment

We rented this apartment for a 2 night stay in early June. The description was accurate as per the website. The apartment was clean. I would recommend this apartment to a family of 4.

Great location. Lots of space

Great location. Can walk basically anywhere on either side of grand canal! Kitchen equipped nicely, although we did not use it. Close to a few nice restaurants and a bakery, grocery store. I was stressed about access and was kindly sent photos with step by step instructions. The beds and bedding could be nicer, but were adequate. Something to note that was not in the info is that there is a very noisy bar right across the walkway, and patrons spill out in sidewalk, smoking and drinking. It can be loud but it stops pretty close to 11 pm every night, so it was not a problem for us. And the patrons were friendly. However, if you have little ones, it might be an issue. Having the washer was convenient. No dryer but there was a drying rack. All in all it was a good stop. It could be fabulous with just a couple changes.

Spacious, clean and great location

Very nice, spacious and clean apartment in a great location. Onwer accepted us (2 adults with 2 small kids) about 1 week before arrival. Greeter gave us all the details we needed. First morning we woke up on very pleasant Venetian street music. What can be more relaxing. We will totally recommend the apartment to our friends and family.

Peaceful stay, superb accomodation and services!

The apartment is spacious, clean, and nicely decorate. It is situated in a very nice quiet neighborhood across from a park, and it is about 20 min walk to museums, galleries, churches, trams, train station and many good restaurants as well as excellent shopping areas. It is clean, bright and has all that one requires. The owner was very helpful and informative. We highly recommend this apartment and will certainly return. Thank you for hosting us! The Hau family

Lovely apartment in a great area

The check in process was very good. Manolitas met us at San Stae stop and brought us to the apartment pointing out good places to eat on the way. She gave us all the information we needed and told us to contact her if there was any problems. Directly opposite our apartment was a great bar and beside it a great restaurant. Around the corner was the very lively Campo S. Giacomo da l'Orio which had more good restaurants and a supermarket with helpful staff. It also hosted volleyball games and on one night Latin dancing. Great place.

GREAT LOCATION - IDEAL FOR COUPLE OR A VERY SMALL FAMILY

A last minute trip and our second stay here. Some small mechanical issues but still a great place to stay for a couple or a small family. San Giacomo del Orio is a quiet area. There are two bars below that provide some noise late into the evening but never a bother to us.The beds were uncomfortable for my wife but not to me . The door didn't latch but this was easily remedied by throwing the bolt from the inside and leaving the key.
