Ferienhaus & Gästehaus mit Blick auf den Kieselstrand - Dieses ältere Strandhaus am Meer (2 Schlafzimmer / 2 Badezimmer) wurde gegenüber dem ursprünglichen Haus vergrößert, um den wunderschönen Meerblick vom Wohnzimmer, dem Essbereich und dem Hauptschlafzimmer zu maximieren. Das geräumige Hauptschlafzimmer verfügt über zahlreiche Schränke, eine geflieste Dusche, zwei Waschbecken und einen Ankleidebereich. 2. Schlafzimmer hat ein französisches Bett und ein älteres Doppelschlafsofa (Schlafsofa ist am besten für Kinder und nicht für Erwachsene). Das Wohnzimmer hat einen großen Futon und einige Sofas (das Schlafen auf der Couch oder dem Schlafsofa ist für Kinder wahrscheinlich bequemer als für Erwachsene). Treppen zum Strand sind direkt vor der Haustür! Zu bestimmten Zeiten des Jahres steht möglicherweise ein separates Studio / Loft im zweiten Stock (über der Garage) zur Verfügung, das für etwa die Hälfte der Kosten des Haupthauses (das ein weiteres Schlafzimmer, eine Küchenzeile und ein Bad hinzufügt) hinzukommt , und 2-stöckiges Ocean-View-Deck (3 BR / 3 BA), das derzeit NICHT für die nächsten Monate verfügbar ist (bereits in Gebrauch). Dieses Haus hat eine tolle Aussicht! Drahtlose Internetverbindung und DISH Network TV!

Das Hotel liegt am South Pebble Beach Drive (die atemberaubendste Fahrt an der Nordküste!) in der Nähe des Redwood National Park, des Battery Point Lighthouse, des Hafens von Crescent City, der Ocean World, der Bäume des Mysteriums (Klamath), der Flüsse Smith und Klamath, des Lake Earl Wildlife Area, des Flughafens Del Norte County, des Sutter Coast Hospital, des Pelican Bay State Prison und des Bis zur Grenze zu Oregon und Brookings sind es nur 32 km auf dem Coast Highway 101. Great beach house

This was a great place to stay! We watched beautiful sunsets at night, enjoyed walking across the street to the beach and explore the tide pools, and it was really convenient to get to the Redwoods and State Park.

Location so great that you'll probably be ok with the rest

The house is right across from Pebble Beach. It's a lovely place to go hunt for agates, splash around, and scramble on some rocks. The view from the living room and master bedroom is fabulous: you're looking right at the waves and could even whale watch from the house. Short distance to Redwoods and other beach access as well.That said, everything else about the place was lackluster. Not super clean. Bunch of things that feel on the fringe of falling apart--cracked ceilings, kitchen floors that feel lumpy, gutters falling off, beds that are...not great (my kids wouldn't even sleep on the other bed because they felt it smelled funny, and I'm not going to say they're wrong). Hot water ran out from the shower very quickly, which was unpleasant for the kids who were wanting to heat up from some ocean time.We had a great time, and I'm not upset we rented it. But I wouldn't rent this place again. If they spend a good chunk of change remodeling the place, improving furnishings, etc., it could be fabulous. The lower rate was definitely warranted compared to other places, and it may still have been a touch high.

Not that great

Coffee pot didn't work, toaster half worked, no chopping board. Oven was turning on by itself until we figured out the knob was on wrong and we were able to turn it off. Overall cleanliness was very poor. Master bathroom shower door kept falling off. No towels untill we found them left in the dryer by the cleaning people in the filthy laundry room. We also found mouse droppings in the house. The only good thing is the nice beach across the street and the view.

Stayed one week. Loved the redwoods and ocean. Location was perfect. House was fine. House keeper didn’t finish washing the linen but the house had clean linen on beds and towels in Bathrooms. Host was great and helpful.

Beautiful beach and home

Gorgeous views and wick access across the street to beach. Loved falling asleep to the sound of the waves. Amazing sunsets. Home was a great place for us to rest and relax between adventures. Redwoods we’re really close too.

This house was perfect for us. It's huge but homey. It's a 2 minute walk down to the beach. It's like an old pair of jeans. It's broke in and comfortable. We we're planning our next trip the first night. The host Lori was accommodating and just good people. It's not the Hyatt Regency but it wouldn't have been as fun if it was.

Try another place

I thought long and hard about not commenting at all. After looking at review rating I made the reservation. I should have looked deeper. The same deficiencies we experienced have been complained about for over 2 years. The owner has excuses, but it appears nothing gets cleaned, replaced, or fixed. Our observations. Bedding stained and holes in the blankets in both bedrooms. Pet stains on the rug in the master bedroom. Trash around the carport. Laundry room dirty and smelly Bathroom floor dirty Some couches in living room dated and stained Only 2 teaspoons total in both silverware drawers but lots of tablespoons. The house is in a beautiful location and has a great view of the ocean. We found the street between the house and the beach not busy or noisy. The basic house is sound. Frankly I am surprised VRBO doesn't have a certification or inspection process, especially for places with a history of past problems. This place would not pass. I have used VRBO several times and never had an issue. After looking through complaints about VRBO and how nonresponsive they are. Time to vote with my billfold. There are lots of rental companies wanting my business.

The beds were very comfortable, and the house was clean. We got in late and left early in the morning, but we walked across the street to the beach in the morning and I must say, it was a magical place.

Great location but property needs work

Love how close the house is to the beach but would not stay there again. First night there we realized there was no additional blankets for my kids, I let the owner know and after texting back and forth seem like if we need additional blankets I would have to wash some. Laundry room was gross and smelly, cleaning lady left wet laundry in the washer. Sheets, towels, blankets was on the floor in the garage. I had to spend the first night doing laundry so my kids can have blankets. Since we have some older kids they have to sleep on the couch and mattress, which is fine but the couch, mattress and pillows was old, dirty and just gross. The last day we were there we run out of toilet paper, we were there for 4 days so 2 rolls is not enough. Text the owner again and sure enough if we need toilet paper we would need to buy some. Wouldn’t recommend this property, every rooms needs additional cleaning. Mattress is old and uncomfortable, couches is rip and dirty, bedding and bath towel is poor quality.

The views were absolutely gorgeous! The rest of the house was ok. The floors weren't vacuumed and the laundry area smelled really bad and was dirty.

This is our only rental place in town--it's the house we first bought and that we used to live in before our big family 'outgrew' it (before it was expanded in a remodel), but it's in too nice of a spot not to hold onto it! We're in love with the location!
