Well stocked kitchen easy access to on site pool. Easy access to all areas you would want to visit.
Over all a good place to stay. Parking a little tight. Beds a little lumpy. But that could be personal choice.
All was as promised: here was a happy little corner of the world, the place handy for Penzance, St Michael's Mount and the west of Cornwall's beaches and sights.
The accommodation was neat and tidy, spacious enough for two adults and two children. The staff at the Manor - where the mini house was situated among others - were strikingly friendly.
The mattresses might have been more comfortable and the on-site pool was closed due to overcrowding during wet weather - but these are minor complaints.
We enjoyed ourselves and the facilities hugely.
Thank you for your review Lenka, I am so glad you enjoyed your stay in Cornwall. I hope you had a safe trip home. Kind regards, Jane
Meget dejligt område
Desværre var boligen ikke særlig ren.
Virkelig sød udlejer som vil hjælpe til enhver tid.
Flinke og hjælpsomme ansatte på stedet.
Dejligt sted med mange seværdigheder.
Thank you for your review Louise and I am glad you enjoyed your holiday. The area is indeed stunning with lots of sights to see. With regard to the cleaning, the property was cleaned and signed off by the Manor's housekeeper so I will ask them for their comments. Normally I have five star ratings for cleanliness. I hope you had a safe trip home.
Typical of a house on a holiday camp.
The property manager met us and gave us a brief rundown of the facilities and left his number in case we needed it, but we didn't. Parking was available right outside the property and suitable for a small car. Otherwise there was overflow parking close by. The house was clean and tidy and once it warmed up, it was cozy enough. Everything we needed to use was there (bring your own towels for showers/swimming). The beds were uncomfortable, however. The freeview tv didn't always work on some of the free channels so mostly restricted to BBC and ITV. The dvd player worked, though, but suggest bringing your own preferences, as we did. We went swimming a few times in the pool which was always warm and quiet. No more than two other families in with us at any time but that was enough. I would imagine at a busier time of year, it could be quite congested and the changing rooms are only small. The biggest problem was drying towels and swimming costumes as the poor weather meant we could not put them outside and had to leave heating on to dry them out. We didn't use the bar facilities. It is a small site and the grounds were always quiet and peaceful. It is so close to Penzance and all that has to offer (3 supermarkets close to each other on the outskirts along with the usual out-of-town retailers - 2 miles). It is easy to access the local area from here, but beware of the narrow lanes!
