We had the best time at this vacation rental! Our family has been taking annual trips together for years, with kids and grandkids, and this one will definitely be hard to top.We absolutely loved the heated pool and hot tub, and the huge dining table was perfect for all of us to sit down and enjoy meals together. There was plenty to do, and they truly thought of everything you could possibly need. Even the things we forgot to pack were already there! You could really tell how much thought and care went into making this place comfortable and enjoyable for guests. We made some wonderful family memories and would absolutely love to come back again. Highly recommend!

Rachelle, thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience and for being such wonderful guests! It was truly a pleasure hosting you and your loved ones. There’s something special about bringing grandparents, parents, kids (and even the pups!) together under one roof, and we're honored that Private Escape could be the setting for those memories. We designed the home to make those kinds of gatherings easy—with three spacious levels so everyone has room to unwind, yet plenty of inviting spaces to reconnect throughout the day. One of the home's biggest highlights is the outdoor living space, and we're so happy your family enjoyed it. Whether it was grilling on the expansive two-level deck, sharing meals overlooking the yard, gathering around the fire pit, or unwinding in the heated saltwater pool and hot tub, it's exactly the kind of setting we hope brings families together while still giving everyone a chance to slow down and recharge, all surrounded by peaceful nature. Our entire team works hard behind the scenes to ensure every guest walks into a spotless, well-prepared home that truly feels like a home away from home, so your kind words mean more than you know. Thank you again for choosing Private Escape for your family getaway, and most of all, for already rebooking with us for Summer 2027! We look forward to welcoming the Piper Family back for another memorable stay.

Thank you so much for your wonderful review, Debbie! It was a pleasure hosting your family over the July 4th weekend. One of the things that makes Private Escape so special is its location at the very end of a quiet road, so it's wonderful to hear everyone was able to enjoy the peaceful surroundings and all the privacy that comes with it. It sounds like the pool was a favorite, and we still remember your message about making dinner on the Blackstone—that sounded like the perfect way to spend a summer evening together! Our team works hard to have the home fully prepared and thoughtfully stocked so guests can simply arrive, settle in, and enjoy their time together. Hearing that you noticed those details means so much to us. We'll also be sure to pass your kind words along to Fawna—she truly enjoyed hosting your group and will be so happy to hear she helped make your stay a memorable one. Thank you again for choosing Private Escape, Debbie. We truly appreciate you taking the time to share your experience and hope to welcome you and your family back whenever you're ready for another relaxing getaway!

Great Family Time

Had a great family vacation here - we mostly wanted a place to swim and hang out and this was perfect. Everything we wanted was provided and there was excellent communication with Fawna. We went golfing, checked out the nearby animal park and had a picnic at Cascade Park where there was lots to do. Also close to Grand Rapids for lots more things to do. But we mostly enjoyed the deck, pool and very private yard. So many games and baby things were provided. Would recommend this place!

GRAND RAPIDS VACATION HOMES

Hi, I'm Robb Baar!

I started renting out my home after being transferred to Minnesota for work. The positive feedback from my guests was nothing short of amazing! Since then, my brother and I have expanded our portfolio to include three more properties, and we take great pride in delivering an unforgettable "home away from home" experience to our guests.

I, Robb, am a financial adviser helping clients find the most efficient way to pay the least amount for college and maximize cash flow during retirement. Over four years ago, I moved to Roatan, Honduras, an island in the Caribbean. When I'm not assisting clients, I indulge in my passions for fishing, scuba diving, and traveling while working remotely.

Meanwhile, John holds down the fort in Michigan, ensuring that our properties are well-maintained and our guests' needs are met. Together, we've assembled an exceptional team to guarantee that your stay with us in West Michigan is nothing short of top-notch. Don't just take our word for it – our hundreds of 5-star reviews speak volumes about our commitment to making your Grand Rapids Vacation Homes experience a resounding success!

We sincerely appreciate your choice to stay with us. We look forward to hosting you!
