Clean apartment had off street parking in a garage. Had a washing machine no dryer but clothes dried efficiently on clothes rack. Very helpful when finally meet up with checking us in.

Lovely stay

Manuela's appartment is just as advertised. Has all the amenities. We were delighted to be able to do a wash while we were staying.The neighbourhood is nice, sometimes a tad noisy, but it's close to shops and a bus stop.Contact with Manuela was easy and quick. Would stay again :)

We had a great stay. It was a quiet area and clean. It’s close to a supermarket that has everything you would need if you want to cook yourself. Can take bus, metro or easiest is to Uber to the city center.

A nice vacation home for your stay!

Great stay! Perfect for feeling at home and at the same time it's easy to get to any location. I certainly recommend if you're tired of hotel vibes but at the same time want to have that home feel while enjoying your vacation. Also, right below the apartment is a coffee shop that servers great pastries and coffee. Thanks again for the great place we hope to visit again!

Spacious clean apartment in a very established quiet neighborhood

Our host was very helpful, welcoming and provided excellent information about the apartment and the neighborhood. We were within walking distance from all the downtown had to offer with the benefit of being away from the noise and traffic ( the best of both worlds in our opinion). Definitely recommend.

Nice apartment with parking in Porto

Very cozy apartment in Porto with everything you need to spend some days in the city. Good connection with public transportation to the center by bus to Casa de la Música and by Metro to Sao Bento, just for 1,30 euros . Comfortable bed of the master bedroom. Ideal if you need a safe parking for your car .

As described and in good condition. Underground parking was certainly a plus. As we are walkers, the location is excellent. At no time did we feel unsafe or unsure of our surroundings. The block and apartment are very secure and laundry is a bonus.

Great location

We stayed 3 days. Very close to supermarket. We could walk downtown. We did not use our rental. Must wear good shoes for the 30 minute walk down town. Very clean and could do our laundry. :) We recommend.recommend!

Only had one real issue After we booked the host contacted me to say there would be an 8 euro city tax that I need to pay her in cash when I got there When I got there the “helper “ said the tax was 12 euros This should have been disclosed at the booking process and I believe I was over charged as well

For clarification, I would like to inform you that: A message was sent advising the payment of the tourist tax, which is mandatory in the city of Porto and expressly of 2 euros per person and per night. This information is also provided at the time of booking by the platform the guest chooses. I regret that the amount of 8 euros was reduced due to a writing error, it was really my mistake. In any case, this guest did not show me his displeasure at check-in or during his stay. If he had done so, I would have obviously explained what happened and allowed the situation to be clarified, avoiding so much dissatisfaction and a less than satisfactory overall assessment of the stay.

This was a great apartment. Two grocery stores close by and an easy walk down to the water (if you love walking, 5KM) or by transit by Porto's super quaint subway system. It's about 10 minute walk to the nearest station. Parking was amazing. Great layout, bed was super comfortable. Shower was great, laundry was nice to have on our 6th day of travel. We thought check-in was a bit confusing and as we were on the road, we were anxious about making it to the apartment in the small window of time we were given. But Manuela was super kind and I honestly would book here again.

Nice accomodations , but

The apartment facility is modern and in good condition. If you have a car the garage is a great advantage. However, the location provides nothing positive. It is quite noisy from traffic until 10pm. The view from the the windows/balcony is uninhabitable cottages. With no a/c sunny days are very warm.

Thank you for your comment and for choosing my apartment. In reality, the location is part of my advertisement and therefore is clearly expressed publicly for those who wish to stay in my home. It is a city apartment located in the second largest Portuguese city, however it is equipped with double glazing in the windows to minimize noise and is in a quiet area of the city where some resident families live. I have not seen any reference to the noise mentioned by Mickadoo in the reviews made by guests. I'm sorry if something didn't please you. Thank you very much anyway. The best for you

A great trip in this magnificent city.

We enjoyed our stay in Porto in this apartment. It is located a little away from the frenzy of the center of Porto but offers us in return a lot of tranquility. A peaceful place after a busy day of sightseeing in this beautiful city. You have to walk 15 to 20 minutes to get to the metro but it's worth the trip. The modern metro is worth a visit and gives us quick access to all that interests a visitor of a few days in this city. It is important to visit the area with Casa Musica and the Museum of Contemporary Art. There is a supermarket nearby, two rather than one (Pinto Doce and Continent), excellent pastries and small restaurants including Portuguese rotisseries. The apartment is very well equipped. We could add a recent tv with cable and some cauldrons. The indoor parking is an asset besides our host Manuela warmly receives us and can give you all the information you want. An excellent stay in this city.

quiet location with the garage parking

In a quiet neighborhood, 3rd floor with elevator. Very spacious, a little far from downtown, but using uber, bolt is very affordable and easy. Groceries store nearby, about 7 mins walk. Garage parking is the plus. We parked our car during the stay and using uber & bolt to travel in town. No A/C, afternoon sun, a little warm in the afternoon. But a fan in the bedroom & living room, help to cool down in the evening. Big bedroom, a mattress is a little hard but we still had a good sleep. Well equipped kitchen, a little of condiments would be helpful. There is also a washing machine and a dishwasher. Thank you for the apartment.

A smart, modern apartment in a quiet area of Porto, yet convenient for the city centre

We chose this apartment mainly because we were travelling to Porto in our own car and wanted a secure carparking space. The apartment is on the second floor, is accessed by a lift which also accesses the underground carpark. It is conveniently situated between Porto city centre and the A20 (IC23) internal ring road, in a residential area. The apartment is modern, very sunny, light and airy but has window screens and blackout curtains to provide shade if required. The full height windows open onto a balcony which overlooks a quiet road and an area of rather old, but picturesque tiled cottages and overgrown gardens which I understand are of historic value and are awaiting restoration. We had all the equipment required for a self catering holiday. The shower functions well and there was plenty of hot water. The furniture is comfortable and in good condition. There is storage for suitcases etc. We stayed for 5 nights. During our holiday we walked to Porto centre via the Rua de Serpa Pinto - this takes about 30 minutes. We also took the Metro from Carolina Michaelis to Bilhao (for the city centre) and other stations. It is possible to purchase 3-day multiple use tickets for public transport. My husband is a transport enthusiast - he enjoyed the trams, the Sao Bento railway station (an art lover can enjoy the spectacular tiled interior), the bridges over the Douro and the Metro. I enjoyed wandering around back streets looking at tiled facades, stone carvings etc, the second hand / antique shops on the Rua de Serpa Pinto (close to our apartment), the historic city centre and banks of the Douro. We bought a yellow bus 2-day ticket for the hop-on hop-off tourist buses which provide 2 circular tours of the city and nearby coast, plus a visit to a port tasting. We chose Manuel Pocas - a bit of a walk from the bus stop but there is another port cellar nearer the bus route. We visited the House of Henry the Navigator - a famous Portuguese prince with a British connection as his mother was Phillipa of Lancaster, an English princess. We enjoyed our stay in Manuela's flat. For us it was an ideal combination of a quiet base yet within easy walking or public transport of Porto's main sites and easily accessed by car.

Porto

Der Aufenthalt in Porto war sehr positiv. Manuelas Wohnung ist in einer ruhigen Gegend und die Wohnung ist sehr gut ausgestattet. In der Nähe gibt es alle Arten von Dienstleistungen, Bushaltestelle, Bar, Supermarkt, Apotheke... Etc. Nur die Wifi-Verbindung ist nicht gut, aber für den Rest wird empfohlen und wenn ich zurück nach Porto gehe, gehe ich wieder zu Manuela. Danke Manuela!

Nettes Appartement, aber langer schwieriger Weg in die Altstadt

Die Beschreibung mit dem Bus in die Innenstadt zu kommen, war leider zu ungenau. Kein Bus in der Nähe fährt direkt in die Innenstadt. Die Metro liegt 20 Min. zu Fuss entfernt. Man benötigt bei dieser Unterkunft unserer Meinung nach ein Auto, da man ja auch noch in der Innenstadt von Porto viel läuft. Dort ist allerdings Parken nicht einfach. Ansonsten war die Begrüssung sehr nett, es gab 1 Flasche Wasser und Obst und Kekse. Nachts ist es einigermaßen ruhig.

Karin, thank you for staying at my house but allow me to disagree with some comments: Your check-in was done face-to-face and all of your questions have certainly been clarified. Even before your arrival I showed myself available to help or clarify any questions you might have. In fact the apartment is 2 minutes walk from several bus stops that lead to the city center. In fact the traffic in the city of Porto is intense and parking is not easy and is almost always to pay, which makes my apartment even more interesting as it has a private garage inside the building without adding costs, which is rare in city of Porto happen. The announcement of my apartment on this platform has its exact location and there it is very easy to get the notion of distances.
