We were very pleased with the condo. Great location and access to the beach; easy parking. Very clean and quiet.Easy walk to three restaurants. Nice neighborhood; felt safe. Good communication with arrival information. We would stay there again!

We enjoyed our stay. Appreciated being able to check out an hour later also. Was frustrated, however, with the laundry situation. Washer didn’t advance through cycles and even ruined a dress when washer continued in one cycle while we were out.

Location of property is great and close to attractions. Overall the condo is a nice place to stay except for the washing machine in unit needs repaired or replaced. It doesn’t run through all of its cycles without manually making it. Also the patio furniture needs to be updated. You can’t sit in the chairs to enjoy the ocean without the paint peeling off on your clothes. Would definitely be a five star stay if those items were addressed.

Great location, quiet and friendly area for a getaway for just us two. Living room furniture needs to be updated, not comfortable at all. Patio furniture needs to be updated as well. We stayed a week and if these areas were improved, we would go back.

The location of condo & access to beach was great. The condo is outdated & rather tired with chipping paint & lumpy carpets. The master bath is very small & kitchen has minimal utensils, glassware etc. Would not rent again.

I think the couch could be updated. Carpets could be cleaned or removed. The basics need to be checked more often. No salt, but a can of beets. Charge a lot for the location, could be a little more user friendly. Thanks for the started kit though. There is a closet with beach stuff. It is pretty messy. Over all we loved the view and access to the beach. Would likely stay again.

Great place over all. The unit had everything we needed, including some things we didn't expect (like beach chairs, which we didn't need). Good view of the ocean, but note that the porch is screened--you can't stick your head out!The pictures show an extended walkway, but you can't use that one. It ends, and you can not cross the dune. You must use the public access, but it's even easier to cross actually. We were there in Sept, and there were no crowds at all.The unit is on the 2nd floor, and there are no elevators, so be aware of that. Our bags were light enough, and I'm young enough, that I just carried them up a flight of stairs.The beach was absolutely fantastic. Wide beach, soft clean sand, clear water. Note that cars can drive on the beach here; we're not used to that since we usually go to the gulf. About 1.5 miles from the pier, but we didn't fish. The pier didn't really extend enough to make it worthwhile, in my opinion. If you want to fish, go to the in let just a couple of miles away.Local restaurants are fantastic, and historic St. Augustine is only a 15 min drive. We recommend Fundadelic and Sunset Grill locally, and Harry's and Columbia restaurant in St. Augustine. You have to check out Fort San Marcos as well. We did a ghost tour, but meh...Back to the unit, it was comfortable, but the furniture was a little older. Sofa could probably use more padding, but the kitchen was well-equipped and perfect for us. We need nothing more.

Recent stay

Just spend 3 nights at this condo. The reason for my 3 star rating is as follows. There was an unpleasant odor in the condo that never went away. Some of the dishes and silverware were put in the cupboard dirty from the prior occupants. The linens and towels appear to have been washed so many times that they were faded and gray and didn’t look clean and fresh. ATT wireless service does not work in condo. The building itself (which is not shown in the pictures) is gray and drab and not very inviting or appealing from the outside. I won’t stay there again.

St. Augustine Vacation

When we first walked in the condo, it had a musty smell, but I found that that’s due it be an oceanfront property. Once we the air conditioner down a little and the ceiling fans, it went away. The pictures didn’t depict the current state of the condo. I would say all in all it was good and it was very clean. However, there are a few areas that definitely need some TLC. The hole in the ceiling in the living area outside the patio doors, potential water damage in the main bedroom ceiling. However, there were no leaks during our stay. The sliding doors to the balcony would get jammed now and again. The closet doors where the washer and dryer located do not stay on the track. It’s appears it’s been that way for sometime. Also I had to babysit the washer because it didn’t always run through the cycle as it should. For instance, for a light wash, it had ran for 45 minutes but didn’t go into the next cycle to drain and spin. There were a couple light stains on the couch which wasn’t very comfortable. Lastly, we received a notice because we didn’t have a parking permit, but we weren’t required to have one. In my opinion, these are pretty minor and I would book the condo again.

Mostly Good. Some Minor Issues

The unit is on the second floor, no elevators and the handrail is pretty loose and the stairs were wet. Take care when going up or down the stairs! We had a lot of electrical issues during our stay. The first night was the worst with the lights going on and off several times an hour. Never a long outage, but enough to disrupt every electrical thing in the place. This may have been an issue outside of the unit, but we really couldn't tell since the outages were short enough we couldn't look for other units with lights out. The view is okay, but the dunes are very high and you couldn't really see the beach (sometimes you couldn't even see the breakers). In addition, there is no legal access from the unit to the beach. There are a few paths through the dunes, but those aren't technically legal to use. The unit itself is nice, though there is a big water damage spot in the ceiling inside (living room, left side, near the sliding doors) that looks fairly recent and still damp. The couch is uncomfortable to sit in, but hopefully you won't be on it for long. The appliances are fairly new it looks like, though the fridge has a flap thing that is supposed to automatically open and close on the left door, but it's broken. Neighborhood is nice, and very close to some good restaurants and bars. Definitely go to Mango Mango's. Easy walk, and great food!

Beach Vacation

This property is clean and centrally located to great restaurants and grocery stores. The bed in the primary room is comfortable but the shower is extremely small. The kitchen is equipped with your basic necessities but some could use replacing. Overall we enjoyed our week relaxing at the beautiful beach and eating in a variety of restaurants.
