The property is located with easy access to main roads in the area. The furniture is comfortable, and the apartment location is very quiet. Being on a golf course it was fun to watch the golfers, and there is a large pond with wildlife to watch.

This property was as described. It was impeccably clean and tidy with a well equipped kitchen to meet all your needs for a short or long term stay. The host Antonio was incredibly responsive and ensured our stay was a pleasant experience. I would highly recommend this property. We enjoyed quiet mornings drinking coffee on the patio looking out at the golf course towards the Manatee River. The location is close to many attractions and beaches. Just a side note, Google maps will likely take you to a residents only gate entrance, just follow the signage to check in at the security gate about a mile down the road. Upon checking in at security I would suggest asking the security member for a printed “pass”. It makes coming and going a little easier as they will simply scan your pass upon passing through the guest lane of the security gate. It was great to finally deal with a professional host. Excellent experience! Hospitality was outstanding. Coffee maker broke day 2, and a new one was delivered to the door by day 5. Could use some comfortable Lanai furniture. The location was fantastic. The only downfall to the complex is the lack of any community BBQ’s.

The three of us spent two nights here. The unit was clean and well stocked with dishes and cooking pans, however, we did not cook in the room. We were basically there to sleep. The view out the balcony is lovely looking over a large pond with native birds. The neighborhood was quiet while we were there. We were a little surprised to find that there was no bath soap or tissues in the unit, and these are things that we have come to expect in the rentals we have booked previously. The unit itself is several minutes away from any grocery store or restaurants. I think it would be helpful if the owner supplied some local shopping /dining info within the unit itself. From the time when I was looking for a place, through the initial night of our stay, communication with the owner was typically prompt.

Summer Camp for Active Seniors

River Strand is a very friendly active community, with multiple swimming pools and restaurants. The golf courses are in very good condition. There are many other activities, including tennis, pickle ball, bingo, and karaoke. This condo overlooks a pond owith active wildlife, the 8th hole on the Sanctury golf course, and, in the distance, the Manatee River. The condo is in very good condition and generally very quiet. Our only problem was the remote controls on the living room TV.

This was our third year at this condo and it gets better every year. The condo is spacious and clean. It is well equipped with everything needed for a relaxing stay. The lanai is a great place to unwind after a round of golf while watching other golfers tee off. The condo is well situated for a short bike ride to a number of pools and the gym. The golf course is well maintained and challenging. Everywhere we went we were greeted with a “hi” or a wave. People and staff are all very friendly and accommodating. River Strand is a great place to stay. It is close to shopping and the outlet mall. We would recommend anyone to stay here for an enjoyable time.

Wonderful week of relaxation

From the moment we arrived we felt relaxed. The condo was immaculate and decorated as per pics online. The swimming pool was prestine and we seemed to have it to ourselves the whole week. We took advantage of stocking up on food and wine at Walmart (5 mins away) and we visited both Bradenton Beach and Siesta Keys. The only down side was we had no beach equipment so we regretted that we didn't get the landlord to put a few things from his storage locker into the condo fornuae at the beach. Buying towels and chairs and coolers for one time use seemed so wasteful. The beds were super comfy and we couldn't seem to get past 10pm before falling asleep for the night. We would highly recommend to anyone looking for privacy and a relaxing stay.

Outstanding Condo and Facilities. A great place to vacation.

Renting takes a leap of faith and we were not disappointed. The condo is tastefully decorated, clean and well maintained. The kitchen is well stocked with all the necessary dishes and cookware. The balcony overlooking the 8th hole become our favorite place to enjoy a meal. The view of the golf course is breathtaking with lots of wildlife. The amenities at River Strand are excellent. The golf course is well maintained with a variety of tee boxes for all skill levels. The fitness facilities and pools are outstanding. The condo is in close proximity to shopping and dining with several beaches a short drive away. The owner kept us informed of all activities going on at the golf course, club house and River Strand which was greatly appreciated. He was particularly responsive to all our questions as we got familiar with the area. A great way to spend a vacation.

Few Issues

Although it was a very nice place and owner responded quickly to issues it did have some issues. Broken kitchen faucet upon arrival. TV had issues connecting, due to placement of box. Most annoying was the key pad for entry, which he could not fix from afar. He finally told us where to find key. Which alleviated aggravation for the last week. Like I said owner did respond quickly however, there seemed to be quite a bit of issues.
