Good location for exploring Sarlat and the surrounding villages and towns. Well appointed, comfortable house with good outdoor seating areas. The heated pool was great and we were able to swim every day, despite the chilly October mornings. Johanna was a good host and always on hand if we needed anything . Thanks for a lovely holiday.

The perfect place for a much needed rest

Great week, lovely villa. Spent all the time outside by the pool or round the table, spending quality time together over food with lovely local wine. Highly recommend.

Great property superbly located and as described/as per the photos on the advert. It's away enough from the hustle and bustle but close enough (by car) to local amenities such as supermarkets, EV chargers and obviously Sarlat town centre and other surrounding villages. We really enjoyed staying at Johanna's place, especially with the air con and swimming pool being most welcome during the heatwave. Would highly recommend as the property has everything you could ask for.

Summer break

Excellent property with all amenities that you would expect from the description including air conditioning that was most welcome in the very hot week. The pool was beautifully maintained, in an attractive setting.

The villa was ideal for us for visiting Sarlat and surrounding area. It is spacious and very well appointed. Plenty of kitchen appliances, crockery, glasses etc. It was immaculately clean and having 2 bathrooms was a real treat, especially as there was a bath in the main bathroom. The pool area and outside seating was excellent. Also the enclosed garden was great for our little dog to run around in. 35 minute walk along a very quiet road takes you into the centre of Sarlat which is one of the prettiest towns we’ve seen! If we come back to the area we will definitely stay in this villa again.

Great house and location

The house was perfect for us. Well-equipped spacious and very quiet. The heated pool was great. The location was approximately 2 miles from medieval Sarlat, and 1 mile from an Intermarche supermarket. The host, Johanna was responsive and readily available. I highly recommend this house!

Lovely house in great location

Everything you need is available and as described. The property is air conditioned which makes a huge difference in the hot summer months. It is also fenced and secured by electric gates making it safe for the children and our dog. Johanna is great . Ideal retreat in the Dordogne

We were staying at the villa as a family of 4 adults and two very young children. The property was as described with everything you need. Great outside area with fantastic pool where we spent much of our time. The villa is realistically about 5 mins drive from the centre of Sarlat and located centrally in the region to make visits to all the famous sites very convenient. Johannah was an amenable and helpful host Would definitely recommend

Superb house

We stayed for a week and even though the weather was mixed, the 29 degree heated pool was in use every afternoon, all afternoon by us all. A very nice house 2 minutes from the local supermarket, 5m from Sarlat and set in a private and peaceful area. Kitchen well sorted, nice charcoal BBQ, good bathrooms and laundry space. Everything in the house worked well and we all slept very well too. We would like to book again next spring and the whole process from booking to arrival and checkout was handled very well by the owner.

Lovely clean property and welcoming pool.

Lovely property and an awesome and very welcoming pool especially when the weather is hot. We were four adults staying in this villa, the property was clean and had everything we needed. Plenty of space and rooms and everything you will need in the kitchen. The pool is heated and was well used by us all and maintained regularly. The host (Johanna) is very helpful and friendly and easily contactable.the property is secluded considering it’s so close to the beautiful Sarlat. Supermarket and bakery’s are a very short drive away. Definitely recommend. Loved our time there and looking forward to returning

Wonderful holiday

We had a wonderful holiday. The house is very comfortable with everything you need including air con in all of the rooms. There is also a large smart TV which the kids made a lot of use of when they weren’t in the pool. The pool area is lovely. We spent a lot of time there. Johanna met us at check in and again when we left. She was extremely friendly and helpful. Location is great, a couple of mins drive into Sarlat. Even on busy market days there are some back roads that lead right to the car park. Brilliant location. We had a great time.

Perfect villa in a wonderful location

Everything about our stay was fantastic. The villa was spotlessly clean, super comfortable and with welcomed air con. The highlight is the pool, which was the perfect temperature, whatever the weather. We spent hours in it every day. Location is quiet, but just minutes from Sarlat, and we’ll placed for the rich variety of the area. Twin and double upstairs, with bathroom. Ground floor has a double with en suite, and basement has a comfortable double with its own bathroom. Table tennis is also in the basement, as well as washing machine and dryer. We loved it and would highly recommend.

Perfect Family Vacation

My wife and I stayed here for 2 weeks with our daughter and her family. The house is only a 3 minute drive from Sarlat centre, and 5 minutes from the LeClerc supermarket, so very convenient to the beautiful old town and to all forms of shopping and restaurants. Also, only 20 minutes or so from Lascaux and other caves, from many famous chateaus and bastides. A little longer drive accesses many other options. With a 10-year old boy and 12-year old girl in the family, the pool was a life saver. (It also was great for the adults on hot days.) Johanna was an exceptionally repsonsive host, quick to respond and resolve whatever problems and questions arose, and very pleasant to talk with. We very highly recommmend this property for families!

Confort et tranquillité.

La maison est très bien située, en bordure de forêts avec beaucoup d’oiseaux, et proche de tous les lieux à visiter dans le Périgord. Les chambres sont spacieuses, les espaces de vie intérieurs et extérieurs sont très bien organisés et très confortables.

Excellent séjour. Johanna, la propriétaire est très accueillante et très sympathique.La maison est conforme à la description.La piscine chauffée est vraiment très agréable à cette saison.Seul petit bémol, le voisinage peut concilient au bruit.

Excellent séjour a Sarlat

Maison très confortable, bien équipée et très bien entretenue, climatisée dans toute les pièces, ce qui a été fort appréciable pour les journées de canicule. Très belle piscine chauffée. Très bon accueil, propriétaire à l écoute. Maison au calme dans une zone résidentielle. Il faut prendre la voiture pour les sorties, à Sarlat ou ailleurs.
