La SALAMANDRE, ein wunderschönes restauriertes altes Haus, heißt Sie willkommen: alte Steine, Balken, Zugang zu einer 80 m² großen Terrasse im Süden, auf den Höhen von Sarlat, mit Blick nach Süden, über die Dächer der Stadt, Denkmäler und Hügel . Das Hotel liegt in einer sehr ruhigen Umgebung, in üppigem Grün und isoliert, auf der Spitze eines Hügels.
Zum berühmten Sarlat-Markt, der zweimal wöchentlich, mittwochs und samstags, stattfindet, benötigen Sie nur wenige Gehminuten. Das historische Stadtzentrum und die Geschäfte liegen 600 Meter entfernt und sind über einen kleinen idyllischen Weg zu Fuß erreichbar.
(oder 2 km mit dem Auto) PRIVATER BEHEIZTER POOL 12x5 auf 60 m² großer Terrasse. SPA JACUZZI 4 Plätze. Kein direktes Gegenteil. Wunderschöne ca. 100 m² große Steinterrasse mit Blick auf Sarlat und den Swimmingpool, auf der Sie den ganzen Tag die Sonne und den Sonnenuntergang hinter den Hügeln bei einem Getränk in der Hand genießen können. Salzbad ist sanft zur Haut und brennt im Gegensatz zu Chlor nicht in den Augen.
Outdoor-Sofa mit Kissen, schwebender Jumbo-Tasche. Tischfußball und Billard im Freien, Tischtennisplatte, großer fester Grill auf der Terrasse, Gasgrill. .Schaukel und Minirutsche für Kinder. Die Terrasse vor dem Haus ist durch ein Tor verschlossen, ein Kind kann sie nicht verlassen, dann ist das Schwimmbad durch eine zweite Tür verschlossen. Private Parkplätze stehen auf dem Grundstück zur Verfügung. In der Einfahrt können zwei oder mehr Autos untergebracht werden. Leistungsstarke Klimaanlage in allen Räumen.

Stayed here while visiting the area for our sons wedding. The property was lovely, the pool was amazing and the air conditioning was enjoyed by all in the heat wave. Sophie looked after us every inch of the day. We have rented many properties but Sophie must be the best host ever!

Fantastic for Family holiday

Pool was amazing, the house had everything you could need, kitchen utilities, games, baby cot and high chair, etc. Communication from owners was good. Wonderful location, could walk into Sarlat town easily. We would highly recommend!

Paradise in Sarlat

After opening the gates to Sophie’s property, we weren’t quite prepared for how amazing the view was over the town over Sarlat. With a larger than average pool directly overlooking the town as well, it was evident that this place had beauty in abundance. The house itself was very well laid out, with everything to hand and access to a fantastic terrace overlooking the pool and the town as well. The grounds were totally private and safely enclosed for our two dogs to enjoy. We were very grateful for the air conditioning in every room ( and the fantastic pool) especially considering the soaring temperatures outside. The town was easily accessible, with a footpath located right next to the entrance. 10 minute walk and you have the beautiful medieval town of Sarlat at your disposal, with all its restaurants and entertainment. Our only regret, is that we didn’t stay longer, but after 26 years of visiting France, I would say that this is definitely in our top three, but we won’t say which one!!!.

Fabulous villa in a great location

Well equipped family villa, great location and views over old Sarlat, fabulous pool and facilities to relax for a holiday in the Dordogne. Easy access to Sarlat down a path into town - you can leave your car behind. Fabulous time spent there, would definitely return and highly recommend. Owners were helpful and very responsive with lots of advice about restaurants and local places to visit.

Such a great place

This is a fantastic villa with an amazing swimming pool and location. It’s a lovely short walk in to town. Communication was fantastic. The facilities were as described, the pool table especially gave lots of entertainment and thank goodness for the great aircon. Honestly didn’t want to leave. Super comfy large beds we all slept so well. would highly recommend.

An amazing adventure in the center of Medieval History!

Sophie and Jean's home is the perfect location for a relaxing and amazing vacation. My three friends and I arrived in Sarlat and immediately relaxed in this gorgeous home. There was plenty of space for us all to have our own private comfortable rooms and also gorgeous locations for our joint gatherings. I can't say enough about the beauty of this home overlooking Sarlat, the comfort of the pool, and the blooming flowers everywhere! Sophie was easily accessible and so helpful with all of her suggestions. We definitely want to return!

Booked for 1 week last August but only stayed 2 nights. Property not cleaned properly, left over food in fridge, old bedding and BBQ etc. in gardens. Hot tub not cleaned so unusable whilst we were there. Owners unhelpful.

House with a view in Sarlat

We had a fantastic stay in Jean and Sophie's house in Sarlat. It's in an excellent position just a short walk to Sarlat town centre and an easy drive to most of the places you'd wish to visit. The view over Sarlat is stunning. The amenities were everything you need for all ages to enjoy and were well kept and in a good condition. One shower sprung a leak and the gates got stuck but were immediately fixed with minimum fuss. Thank you for that! The video of how to get to the house was incredibly useful as we arrived very late and in the dark and the food and drink left for us was a thoughtful and welcome touch - again thank you! The whole family and partners had a thoroughly happy week and we would definitely consider going back and recommend to anyone to stay in this beautiful house. The Buckley Family

Merveilleux

Nous avons passé un séjour merveilleux dans cette belle maison à Sarlat. Malgré notre venue en novembre, nous avons eu la chance de profiter pleinement de la grande piscine avec nos enfants. L’eau était parfaitement entretenue et la piscinenous a permis de vivre des moments de baignade exceptionnels, même en automne ! La maison est spacieuse, bien équipée et décorée avec goût, offrant tout le confort. Nous avons aussi apprécié le calme des lieux, idéal pour se reposer après des journées de découverte de la région. La présence des jeux extérieurs a été très appréciée par toute la famille. merci à notre hôte pour son accueil chaleureux et ses petites attentions. Nous repartons avec de beaux souvenirs.

Superbe séjour à Sarlat

Nous avons passé un séjour fantastique dans cette maison à Sarlat. L’emplacement est idéal : en retrait pour plus de calme, tout en permettant d’accéder facilement au centre historique à pied. Nous avons eu la chance d’avoir un temps magnifique en cette période habituellement froide, ce qui nous a permis de profiter pleinement de la grande piscine, parfaite pour se détendre et s’amuser en famille. La maison est spacieuse et confortable, idéale pour les enfants. La vue sur l’environnement est splendide, et le cadre est véritablement agréable. The house is in an ideal quiet location with idyllic views. It’s a short walk to the centre of Sarlat and has easy access to surrounding attractions. The house had effective air conditioning and was well resourced. The pool was fabulous. The only minor issue was there were no rooms with en-suite toilets. The house was very good value and I would highly recommend it

Excellente experience

La propriété est idealement placée, au calme, avec une très jolie vue sur Sarlat et à quelques minutes à pied du centre ville. La maison est très agréable et très bien équipée y compris pour les loisirs (babyfoot, billard, table de ping pong sans parler de la très belle piscine idéale pour Ligner les longueurs). Les propriétaires sont très attentionnés, pleins de bons conseils et très réactifs en cas de question. Pour finir le Périgord noir est une région magnifique où l'on mange très bien.

Super séjour en famille en Dordogne !

Les hôtes ont été exceptionnels ! Ils nous ont très bien accueillis dans la maison, avec plein de petites attentions pour les adultes comme pour les enfants. Ils ont été à l’écoute et très réactifs dès que nous avions une question ou une souci. La maison était exactement comme nous l’attendions, très bien équipée et propre. Le chemin pour accéder à la maison est un peu étroit mais le parking peut loger deux voitures.

Superb Dordogne Stay

Fantastic stay in a wonderful location. Very close to the beautiful town of Sarlat, as well as close to the Dordogne river. Great base to explore the surrounding areas whilst having a beautiful view to accompany some splendid rouge vin during the night. Sophie was a great host with really quick communication on any questions we had. Very nice surprise of a keg of beer waiting for us. Only downside was some weeds were overgrown on the terrace hampering the view somewhat!

Perfect holiday home in a great location.

We’ve just stayed two weeks in this marvellous house which is a short walking distance from Sarlat. Our first impression was that the photographs did not do it justice. All subsequent impressions confirmed that view. The house is fully stocked with all the amenities one could want, from the toys in and around the large pool to the pool and table tennis table on the patio. A large outside table makes family mealtime easy and trouble free. Inside you have a well equipped kitchen and a comfortable lounge with two downstairs bedrooms with showers. Upstairs there are two further bedrooms with an excellent bathroom, with a large shower. The house also has lots of games to keep the kids entertained in case it rains, as this didn’t happen during our stay, we just enjoyed the pool. Communication with Sophie was excellent and any queries were resolved quickly. We were pleasantly surprised by the welcome gifts that were left for us, such as wine, a food parcel and beer. A lovely, much appreciated touch. The location of the property is perfect for walking into Sarlat. At the bottom of the drive, you turn left, follow a path and 7 minutes later you’re in the centre of Sarlat We’ve holidayed in Sarlat for the last 30 years and this is the best house that we’ve rented. We’ll be back.

Excellente semaine

Nous avons adoré notre semaine avec nos enfants et des amis dans la maison. La piscine chauffée à 28 toute la semaine, les chambres spacieuses, la climatisation, la vue, l'accès rapide au centre de Sarlat et le contact avec les propriétaires, il n'y a vraiment rien à redire. Découverte et detente

Nous avons étés très bien accueilli La propriété était simple à trouver grâce à la vidéo envoyer par Jean Yves Il y avait beaucoup d’équipement à disposition que nous avons tous utilisé (spa baby foot billard table Ping Pong et bien sûr la balançoire pour les enfants) Nous avons aussi profité de la piscine en cet fin octobre-début novembre. Elle est magnifique et chauffée. En cas de besoin nous avons pu compter sur Étienne qui était présent à n’importe quelle heure. Il est très sympathique aussi et au petit soin comme jean Yves. Nous les remercions et reviendront avec plaisirs.
