Summer holiday with friends

Great location to explore area. Villa was good with pool and other facilities. Had few issues on arrival but sorted immediately by owner. Could do with some better pillows, all 4 ofusfound them a little uncomfortable when sleeping.

Beautiful, private setting

Lovely peaceful location in the stunning Dordogne. The villa was really well equipped & felt like a home from home. Excellent pool, immaculately cleaned. Particularly liked the check in process with being able to meet the owner plus an English speaking host. Allowed us to find out everything we needed & made us feel very welcome. Lovely, comfortable villa and pool

We had a lovely stay in Villa Vezac. The house is very well equipped, and in beautiful well maintained grounds. The hot tub is also a nice touch for the cooler evenings. You are surrounded by beautiful countryside and the local town, Sarlat de Caneda well worth visiting. Lucille, the house manager, was very welcoming and responsive, and spoke English - which helped! Nothing negative to say. Thank you for a great stay!

A lovely break in a beautiful part of France

Beautifully presented property in true ‘French’ style. The outside space was perfect- several places to eat and relax and a lovely pool. The house itself is set in a lovely well tended garden. The location was excellent- very close to Sarlat and other lovely villages. There was a small shop in walking distance for morning croissants.

Amazing house and beautiful location

A truly beautiful property with excellent facilities. The hardest decision you need to make is pool or jacuzzi. The house is beautifully decorated and has everything you will need. The location is perfect whether you want wander around beautiful medieval villages or doing something more energetic like canoeing down the Dordogne - would tecommend this it is the best way to visit and see villages like La Roque Gageac. I would highly recommend this property to anyone who wants to visit the area. Huguette was very welcoming and helpful on our arrival and throughout our stay.

Peaceful retreat

A lovely property in our favourite part of France. Everything was just as listed on the website. Lots of homely touches added, fresh flowers, wine and biscuits. Close by to Beynac, La Rocque, Sarlat & Domme. We loved it. Only downside is the amount of electricity that the sauna uses. We used it once and it just tipped us over our electricity allowance!!

dream home away from home

We spent an enchanting 3 weeks at Villa Vezac. The home exceeded the expectations raised by the pictures and description. It is beautifully appointed--loved the bathrooms/Roman showers! Kitchen has every appliance and tool you might need to feed a crowd. We spent most mornings and evenings under the covered patio, listening to the bubbling brook. The property is lush and green, full of rose bushes, flowering trees and wildflowers. Huguette and Gerard are wonderful hosts, quick to respond to our questions and needs. We love this house :)

My second time staying here. Location is wonderful. Such a great house for a family. So many places for the kids to play in the garden, enjoy ping ping, billiards table, spa, swimming in the warm pool. All the decor in the house is beautiful. House has everything you’ll need to prepare meals or even use the outdoor grill. Having a washing machine was wonderful. We had 4 adults and two children with plenty of room for all of us. Several outdoor seating areas so it never felt crowded. I highly recommend this house if staying in the Dordogne area. Bonus was a/c in the two bedrooms upstairs if needed in the Summer. Read the fine print that linens are an extra charge. Great value and we’ll be back again.

Fantastic villa in a perfect location

We had the most wonderful week at Villa Vézac. Huguette was a charming host and so quick to respond when we needed her help. The villa is wonderful, a traditional French home full of antique furniture with lots of character. There are comfy beds, a good kitchen and fantastic showers. So many places to sit and eat, our favourite was the big table outside overlooking the pool and one night we enjoyed using the pretty bbq area. The highlight for us was the heated swimming pool surrounded by gorgeous flowers and trees. The water was fantastic and when we got chilly we relaxed in the perfect hot tub, such a luxury for us. We were lucky with warm weather so we didn’t use the sauna. What a brilliant location, near enough to Sarlat for the convenience of supermarkets but far enough to feel peaceful and tranquil. So close to the river for a fun day kayaking, a perfect way to see the sights. There was so much to do, we visited markets, caves, castles and gardens, the Dordogne is beautiful, this was our first visit and I’m sure we will return again. Thank you Huguette.

Sehr schönes gepflegtes Haus mit klassischer französischer Einrichtung, schönen Bädern, guten und funktionalen Küchen, einerm praktischen Plancha-Grill auf der Aussenterasse, sehr schöner Gartenanlage und einem tollen Swimmingpool. Sehr gut geeignet für eine 4-5 köpfige Familie. Exzellente Lage mit kurzer Anfahrt (5-10 Min) nach Sarlat, Beynac und Castelnaud.Wir wurden von den Inhabern und der Verwalterin Lucille sehr gut und freundlich betreut, offene Fragen wurden immer sehr schnell beantwortet.

Nous avons passé une semaine dans la villa Vezac en famille. Très charmante maison, propreté irréprochable, literie très confortable. Il y a tout ce dont on a besoin, la piscine ensoleillée, sauna, jacuzzi, billard…. Au top le tout sans vis à vis , jardin très bien entretenu. La villa est parfaitement bien située pour toutes les visites de la région. Mr et Mme Laval sont très accueillant et disponible. Je recommande fortement.

Excellentes vacances

Tres Jolie Maison, tres bien aménagée et très bien équipée, très belle piscine avec un plus : le jacuzzi. La maison est au cœur du Périgord noir et de toutes les activités touristiques. Les hôtes de la maison sont absolument charmants. Nous y avons passé un excellent séjour très reposant .

Great pool - great property - great holiday

Lovely, clean property in its own quiet area with a great pool. The host was very helpful and communication prior to our arrival was great. The surrounding area is beautiful, with plenty of places of interest and towns to visit. We found this a great place to stay for our holidays.

Wonderful Villa and Location

A beautiful house and pool in a wonderful location. Totally private, spotlessly clean and very well equipped. Huguette was welcoming, friendly and helpful, providing just the right balance of availability, advice and service whilst never encroaching on our time or relaxation. There is so much to do in the local area, although you have to tear yourself away from simply sitting back and enjoying the peace and quiet.

Everything was as advertised which is saying a lot. Great location and private. Huguette is fun, chic and charming. We watched the rabbit in the morning and fed the fish. We felt very much at home and in comfort.

Good traditional Dordogne house

Nice house and pool. The living area would benefit from a more comfortable chair to relax in. Otherwise all fine and a good area for exploring the area. Hosts were very helpful and communicative.
