Ein charmantes Vintage Cottage und Kurzurlaub.
Hunde sind willkommen (sie werden den umzäunten Garten genießen) und 10 Minuten zu Fuß vom North Beach über die Solomon Avenue entfernt. Kostenloses WiFi, Sitzgelegenheiten im Garten. Die 2. Etage ist der ideale Kinderspielplatz und Schlafzimmer. Voller wunderbarer Originalkunst und einzigartiger Details.
North Campbell befindet sich neben dem 80E Gastro Pub und dem Golfwagenverleih. Das historische Tybee Guard House - ideal für Hochzeiten und besondere Anlässe - und der JC Park, in dem die Kinder spielen können, sind nur einen Häuserblock entfernt! Der Tybee Leuchtturm und das Museum sind ebenfalls leicht zu Fuß zu erreichen.

It met those needs, as well as being in walking distance of a new pub/bistro on the corner at Chu's Market. Lovely property, quaintly furnished and very comfortable. Nice yard and deck and enjoyed reading outside during the day. Traffic noise from nearby Butler Ave. was not bad during our late October stay, but could be more noticeable during busier months. It was not a problem for us, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Wonderful weekend stay at the beach!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed at Rosie’s Folie for a couple of nights with our kids and parents (3 generations!) and we all had a wonderful time. The cottage gave us a wonderful respite in the afternoons to rest before continuing the fun. My daughter loved having the upstairs to themselves to get away from the boring adults. There was a house around the corner who had a great Halloween decoration display that we took an evening walk to see. We didn’t read the story of Jennifer until leaving but we loved hearing about her life!

We love Tybee and and location is perfect for getting around the island. This is a super cute cottage with everything you will need. This is located on a busy road so there is some traffic noise but it does not take away from the house. We definitely would stay again!

The house was in a great location and a lot of fun for our family! Our kids appreciated the upstairs space. The small, fenced in front yard was nice for our dog and we appreciated that the kitchen was decently stocked with items for cooking meals. The cleanliness could've been better, though. Overall we were happy with our stay.

We love Mermaid Cottages!

Reviewer Comments: In anticipation of a long awaited vacation to our favorite happy place we contacted a rental company we had used multiple times previously and did NOT even get a call back. We reached out to Mermaid Cottages. MC was wonderful to work with—eager to work with our time frame and budget. They found a perfect cottage for us! A lovely, quaint, and charming cottage with all of the everyday conveniences. Great communication from the start keeping us in the loop—they even called us to say the house was ready prior to the normal check-in! Their attention to detail is beyond measure...they left a thoughtful, handwritten note and gift in celebration of a recent retirement! MC was quick to respond to a very small glitch (coffee maker would not work)—a new one was delivered to the house quickly! We are already planning our next stay and will DEFINITELY have MC find the perfect cottage for us again. MC treated us like family and made our stay feel like home! We LOVE Mermaid Cottages!!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Lovely well kept! Super super clean Everything working great. Ac was wonderful and plenty of hot water loved the fridge. They supply you with perc coffee and it is superb I bought two bags at the sisters nearby gift shop there is a convenience store gas station and a nice breakfast place next to that called Dawgs. The crepes are outstanding. It’s also a nice bar and had live music Thursday night. Happy hour the drinks are like half price 4 to 7. Very convenient to everything Pet friendly. My boy Poochie approved lol

Property manager made everything satisfactory

The property was clean and management was very responsive and quick to fix issues. It allowed for space for a small family and the kitchen and bedrooms were well equipped. Location was great, but could be loud at times. I do not recommend this cottage and regret booking it, but mermaid cottages as a company greatly owned up to any challenges we had. The cottage appears to have water damage from previous reviews and on observation of ceiling and walls. It had a strong humid and earthy/musty smell, which made it an uncomfortable stay for us due to breathing issues. We were transferred to another cottage as soon as possible based on shared concerns that was perfect and met all expectations! I wish we had booked that one instead. It was clean, decor was cozy and bright, lots of light and backyard space and it made you want to stay there as long as possible. It was called sea casa and I greatly recommend that cottage and mermaid cottages as a company. I hope they continue to work and improve all their cottages the same to make it a widespread experience for everyone.

Mini vacation

Roses’s Follie was a nice home and it accommodated us three women and our small dog perfectly. Even though it is located on a busy street, it did not bother us. The beach is within walking distance, and we had two beautiful days to spend at the beach. The fenced yard was convenient for our dog. We did not cook during our stay, but the kitchen is stocked well for those that like to cook during their vacation. Communication with the management company was very easy, and they checked in via text a couple of times during our stay. We enjoyed our stay.

We enjoyed the house and its location greatly as it was a 10 minute walk to the lighthouse and north beach shoppes and around the corner from a good restaurant - Cockspur Grill (named after the old lighthouse in the Savannah river). Tammy was very attentive and helpful and made sure everything was to our liking.

Great Rental Company

The mermaids were very helpful. They reached out to me when my initial house became unavailable due to plumbing issues and quickly provided options for a new house we could rent for the same weekend. The mermaids also checked in through text during the stay as well to ensure our stay was comfortable.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have enjoyed Rose's for 2 years now. It does have a homey feel to it and the kitchen remodel is lovely. The beds are comfortable. The decor is strange and for a rental. Some of the paintings are dark and dreary and the religious decor doesn't fit the quaintness of this cottage. We are people that love fresh air and the windows do not open. The living room furniture has covers on them and are always in shambles. There is attic space and another bathroom upstairs which would add to the quaintness of the cottage however it is locked and not useable. Deck off the kitchen could use an update as well. We have made Rose's our home away from home for a few years. We hope that others enjoy the quaint but quirkiness of Rose's Folie.

Charming

The cottage was cute and comfortable for my family of three and our dog - who enjoyed the enclosed yard and nearby park. A bit drafty but who knew Tybee would have its coldest temps in decades during our stay? Close enough to the beach and near some great restaurants (Chamacos or Huc-a-Poos, anyone?). Would recommend for those who enjoy charming character in their vacation rentals. Diane and staff were great and even offered an extra day for free. Would rent again.

A week away

We absolutely loved our time here! It was a short 3-minute bike ride from the beach, so we were there constantly! The house is cute, and the property managers were excellent. We will definitely be back!

This cottage had everything we needed for a great weekend! The downstairs bedrooms were very comfortable. I suggested they add a light near the key holder to make it easier for late checking to find.
