Neu renoviertes Strandhaus wenige Blocks vom ruhigen, idyllischen North Beach entfernt. Öffentliche Strand Bewertung ist auf beiden Seiten der Bay Street. Restaurants und Geschäfte sind nur wenige Gehminuten von der Auffahrt und über die Straße. Wir haben 2014 das gesamte Haus renoviert und modernisiert. Neue Küchengeräte. Granit-Arbeitsplatten. Deckenventilatoren. Geschirr, Töpfe und Pfannen, Mixer, Toaster, Kaffeemaschine und Kuerig sind nur einige der Annehmlichkeiten. Genießen Sie Ihre Mahlzeiten am großen Küchentisch. Es gibt auch Sitzmöglichkeiten für 4 im Speisesaal. Geschlossene Veranda neben der Küche. Der Wintergarten hat eine Schlafcouch mit einem Roll für zwei Personen. Neu eingerichtete Wohnzimmer mit großen Flachbild-TV. New Queen-Size-Betten in allen 3 Zimmer mit Flachbild-TV und Deckenventilatoren. Die Bäder wurden aktualisiert. Großer Wohnraum im Freien mit eingezäuntem Garten. Neuer Beton gestempelte Terrasse im März 2017 installiert. Sieh dir die neuen Fotos an. Entspannen Sie sich an der Feuerstelle oder grillen "Fang des Tages 'auf dem Grill im Freien. Ergreifen Sie einige Spielsachen für den Strand, den Wagen und Kühler aus dem Schuppen und an den Strand oder entspannen Sie auf der Veranda mit einem guten Buch.

Great Place to Stay

This is the second time we have stayed at this property. It was clean, comfortable and well equipped with everything we needed. It has a fire pit which our teenage grandsons wanted to use every night. It is a comfortable walking or driving distance to the beach, stores, restaurants and Savannah. Would highly recommend this place.

House in ill repair

The owner was very nice and refunded our money minus VRBO fees which I feel should have been reimbursed as well due to never ending issues with the water. At times having no water at all. Other times, water shooting up out of the ground making it impossible to enjoy the patio. I wouldn't recommend staying there. Made for a very stressful vacation. I went on vacation to get away from stress, instead had lots of it.

Family trip Escapade

Let’s start things off on a high note..the place was clean, nicely furnished and amenities such as gas grill, washer/dryer, coffeemakers and walking distance to the beach 10 minutes tops… however I gave this property a 3 star rating simply because the “up keep” of the property was not as advertised on the Vrbo app! Upon entrance I was “taken back by” a strong smell of “pet urine mixed with mildew” coming from the wooden floor…also we noticed in the outside the corner of the roof had detached from the frame leaving an open whole for scavengers to potentially enter which was concerning because I seen a large raccoon later that night! Also in the family room, dust particles were heavily falling from the ceiling air ducts. The outdoor patio and shrubs were dirty and not as pictured. Lastly, 2 of the 3 bedrooms were smaller than what the photos advertised, the bonus bedroom is actually in the sunroom furnished with a daybed that has a detachable trundle bed underneath. The house could potentially sleep 3 adult couples in the bedrooms and 3 children (couch in family room and sunroom in the daybed/trundle). The house is in Tybee and walking distance to the beach. Make sure to use the main entrance to access the beach, because the residents in the gated community did not like us cutting through their parking lot to enter the beach.

Clean and spacious

Lots of room to spread out. We enjoyed hanging out in both the inside and outside space. It was a easy walk to the beach and even easier to grab coffee.

Location, location, location!

This house is so convenient for beach access, good coffee and shopping. It's great if you want to venture into Savannah but not have the overnight noise. Tybee Island offers great dining if you want to stay local. We have stayed in this house twice.

Friends getaway

Property worked perfectly for our trip. There were 6 women and we had room to comfortably sleep, eat and gather in either living room or outside. Host was incredibly helpful and easy to reach. Would definitely recommend.

Enjoyable beach home!

Enjoyed the indoor and outdoor space and number of bedrooms which accommodated 5 adults and an 18 month old. It was great being so close to beach access, some shops and restaurants as well as the lighthouse. We had a wonderful time!

Great time. 10/10

We have had a wonderful vacation. The house was perfect for our needs. Great size. We had 5 adults and a 20 month old. My daughter brought a portable crib, but having the extra portable crib and the beach toys was really helpful. The little one slept in his crib in the back room near the kitchen and we could be together in the living room. When he laid down during the day he slept in the master bedroom in the other crib. He really liked the little rocking chair, it was just the right size for him. The fenced yard was great for our two chiweenies. Note the fence is high off the ground in a few spots and they could wiggle thru so be mindful if you have tiny dogs as they can escape. Literally had everything we needed for our vacation. Only bad thing is it's located off Soloman, worst street on Tybee as far as having a bumpy drive on it. It's the oldest street on Tybee. We rented a golf cart to tour the Island which we highly recommend. Would definitely stay here again.

A winter Get away from NY

Our stay was just great and the owner of the property was very responsive and wonderful to work with. The house was extremely clean, within walking distance of local businesses/restaurants and a beach access, and had all the amenities necessary for a delightful stay. Upon arrival we were greeted with two bottles of wine, fine chocolate and bags of popcorn. The back yard offered a cozy oasis with a fire pit for evening entertainment, barbecue grill for lush dinners, and shaded patio facilities for sharing meals and pleasant conversations. What else would one need for a perfect vacation? Our group appreciated all of the lovely touches included in the house to make us feel at home. I would recommend without hesitation this rental property; 5 stars out of 5!

AWESOME HOUSE!

We cannot say enough about the communication with the owner (Sherry) she was fabulous. The house was amazingly clean and very well equipped. We had friends in from South Carolina for dinner and had all we needed in the kitchen. Best of all the location is great, right across the alley to the best pizza on Tybee at Hucapoos and a block from the beach. Our 2 dogs loved the totally fenced in yard. It was exactly the type of rental we were looking for and would love to stay there again! Highly recommend!!!

Old-Style Beach House - 50s-60s charm

Had everything we needed. All appliances and a/c worked fine. Mattress/bed was comfortable. Convenient location. Good value. Fenced-in patio and yard were very nice.

Excellent choice!

We throughly enjoyed staying in this home. It was clean. The kitchen was well stocked. It has a normal sized washer and dryer. Enjoyed the fenced in backyard. The patio area was great with a fire pit we all enjoyed. Beds were comfortable so we slept well. Our 11 year old claimed the day bed in the sunroom as his! Convenient location to the ocean…about a 5-8 minute walk. Things to do close by if you want to go into Savannah or a day trip to Hilton Head. Some beach chairs are in the shed, and there were plenty of beach towels for the five of us. Landlord was quick to respond to any of our questions. We have no complaints and would stay here again given the opportunity

Quiet One-Story Perfect for Multiple Generations

Every year, we take my elderly mother in law to the beach. As it’s getting harder for her to get around, we like one story places that are close to a beach. This was fantastic. Quiet residential neighborhood that has a coffee place and pizza place right across the street (more like an alley)! This is an old house that has been added onto and upgraded, and you can tell a lot of love went into it. There are 2 smaller bedrooms near an original bathroom, and a larger “master” bedroom off of the living room. If you have small kids, there’s plenty of room in the master for cribs and cots. If you don’t have small kids, there’re only sheer curtains over the French doors into that bedroom, so anyone in the living room can see in…consider this when you assign bedrooms as there’s iffy privacy there. There’s a full bath off of the living room near the door but it isn’t attached to the bedrooms, so the master doesn’t technically have its own. The kitchen is cozy but is very well stocked with everything you may need for your stay! While it’s one story, the floors are a little uneven where they added on and there’s a step down into the sunroom, so if you have someone in the group who is a fall risk, keep that in mind. A lot of the rooms are on GFI outlets, so easy to check if it seems an outlet isn’t working. Lovely shaded patio with fire pit, and even some bikes if you need! Best part is just down the “alley” (Solomon) to the right is Byers Street and the entrance to the beach! The north beach is so quiet, no heavy surf to worry about kids getting tumbled in, no party-goers shooting fireworks. It’s close enough that if anyone in your group can’t walk those couple of blocks, you can drop them off with your wagon of beach things, drive the car back to the house, and walk back. Go the other way towards McKenzie and there’s a fantastic taco bar on the other side of the unfortunately closed Gerald’s. This was the homiest house we have ever rented. Would definitely rent again if we head back to Tybee!

Nice Girls' Weekend

While the property was a little tricky to find at first, once we found the place the experience was very nice. It was clean and necessities were provided. We had close access to pizza and shopping. The beach was relaxing! There were four in our group and each of us had our own bed! I would stay here again if I were to return in the future.
