Perfection
Before arriving all correspondence with the owner was informative and replies were received quickly. On arrival we were greeted by Marco who was warm and welcoming, he gave us a thorough tour of the apartment, which was even better than the photos. Marco also works in the restaurant below which gave us piece of mind in case of an emergency. It was very clean and fully equipped with everything we needed so it felt like a home. I was slightly worried if it would be big enough for two adults and two teenagers (14 & 18), as photos can be deceiving, but it was light and airy and very spacious. There was a nice place to sit in the kitchen by the window where I spent the early mornings! With regards to location it is set in a lovely square with plenty of good restaurants, shops, takeaways within a few steps from the door. The area is away from the main tourist attractions so wasn't over run with people but still had a lovely hustle and bustle feeling and really came alive at night. But a five minute walk and you are on the main street where trams and buses run frequently. We would take the short tram journey, (1.5 euros) and be within walking distance of the main sights within 5-10 minutes. I would highly recommend this apartment as it is also very competitively price and worth every penny. The apartment and location made me feel I was experiencing the true Rome which was exactly what I wanted! If I ever return to Rome I wouldn't want to stay anywhere else. Thank you Francesca it was my best holiday ever!
