"We were a group of 4 people (2m/2f) spending one week (start of sept 11) at the villa albatros in Moliets. The goal of our vacation – which we accomplished – was to surf and relax.
Upon our arrival the house wasn''t ready yet as cleaning was still going on due to a late departure of the previous habitants. We weren''t in a rush so it didn''t bother us.
The house was tidy and clean. The living room is spacious and the home entertainment sys (flat screen tv, stereo, sat receiver etc.) was wording fine. Bring connecting cables if you want to connect iphon/ipad/laptop etc. The kitchen is really well equipped and didn''t leave any of our needs unsatisfied. We cooked every day and mainly used the massive BBQ Grill outside. Try to make sure that you listen carefully how to turn it on during the introduction unless you are familiar with French BBQ Grills...
There is one bedroom down and two bedroom upstairs all equipped with bathrooms. Both on the first floor provide jaccuzis and high-end hansgrohe quality-showers with different modes (rainforrest, waterfall etc. – awesome!).
The front yard/veranda is awesome to hang out and relax. The infinity pool is heated and lots of fun!
There is lots of outdoor activities provided in the area. We focused on surfing. The beach is a 10min walk away over the dunes (you don''t get any closer than that!). The local surf spot is quite good and worked well when we were there. Furthermore the beach is not too crowded there. For more information check surfing websites...
If you are into partying at clubs and bars this location might be a bit too far off. You need a car to get around. Closest decent convenience stores are in a 5 to 10 minutes drive range.
Anyhow. The place is ace and I would recommend it to anyone! Make sure you book it straight to the owner mr. V. (you ll get to know him if you book through here). He is really helpful and quick at responding to emails. This house can be found on various websites. Make sure you compare prices. If you book through an agency such as interhome, you end up paying far too much...
