Typical country house and contemporary design annex

Hi Jiri, sorry for that, although in 20 yrs you are the first that has this problem since in every room there is a full closet from roof to floor for guests… usually with only one week of rental it is plenty of space. If one is looking for a fashionable luxury vacation with glamorous furnishings then shouldn't rent a historic home equipped with furniture that is part of the family tradition and part of our tour around the world. Objects of affection that contribute to create that charm that has always been much appreciated by our guests. So it happened again this year with the other families who preceded or followed Ulrike's group. We are sorry that she did not appreciate a place of character, cared for and maintained with love, certainly not glamour. I tried to meet her many requests and protests from the very beginning and put her at ease, but it is a pity that I did not succeed. Unfortunately, the same care was not taken by her and her children for our home, as reported by the maid who found abused, broken or missing items.

Si è vero, effettivamente sarebbe bello una cucina più grande, ma le restrizioni paesaggistiche non hanno consentito ampliamenti ulteriori... Tuttavia all'esterno c'è allestito un acquaio e un grande piano di lavoro in prossimità del tavolo da pranzo che noi usiamo sempre per la preparazione dei cibi in aggiunta agli spazi cucina, che essendo ben attrezzati alla fine consentono anche grandi preparazioni.... Io sono una amante della buona cucina e mi prodigo spesso nell'organizzazione di cene per amici, e le attrezzature sono tutte disponibili.

All the equipment of the house is well specified in the web site, with no fake promises: air conditioning is not mentioned, the four bathrooms are all equipped with bath tub and shower heads, no showers are mentioned in the swimming pool. The house is located in the Tuscan Maremma, a beautiful rough landscape, well known for its wild nature. Not only insects fly freely as it happens in any countryside, but you can also encounter wild boars, deers and other beautiful fauna. Rooms are equipped with mosquito nets at the windows. The kithchen is fully equipped according to a family that loves cooking and eating elaborated meals. It is rather small but comphortable. It has been completly renovated and organized at the same time of the rest of the ancient typical colonial house. If one wishes to find sleek contemporary kitchens and fast wifi connections should fly to New York. A problem raised with the water pool that went through a chemical distress, as experts explained to us. It is the first time in twenty years that this happened. As the problem arrived we consulted the leaseholder immediately to decide together what to do. If it would have happened to us we would have waited until the chemical products would have adjusted the state of the water. Instead in order to cause the least suffering to our guests we decided together to change the water that would have speed up the procedure. We did our best to be efficient and correct, speaking several times with the guests. We spent 2200€ to be more fast and efficient in changing the water. We are sorry for this inconvenience, but if one chooses to rent an isolated countryhouse should be aware that sometimes difficulties can arise, as it has happend to me recently in Greece, where the pipes of the kitchen exploded: my reaction was to take a day off from the house and visit the beautiful countryside surrounding. For me this has been a great unexpected surprise.
