Thank you Zoe for your nice review and for choosing Casa Galò! We was very glad having your wonderful family at our property. Only a little clarification about the things you mean: We had confirm by the technician that the tent was broken during your stay and not before your arrival because it was not closed during the very windy day of wednesday,the tent was perfect on your check -in day .After your stay we had to change entirely the tent with a new ,but was an our choise not asking you a refund,it's not a problem for us,we ever prefer leaving completely satisfied the guests,that having a refund. Same for the little fan that was sure ok on check-in day, like cleaners confirmed too, anyway all the apartments are entirely conditioned so I think that It was'nt a problem and no refund was asked too. Finally I confirm that only the coffee maker probably was broken before your arrival and I'm very sorry for that but no any guest warned us of this. After all I think that compared with other similar villas, considered the high number of bedplaces, the separeted accomodations for all family (each with his proper kitchens) and,mostly ,all the facilities we have in the property like tennis court (equipped with rackets and balls),basketball (equipped with basketballs),bowles playground (equipped with bowles),ping pong (equipped with rackets),running track covered by sun,I think our property isn't much expensive at all. Hallo Kelly thank you for your kind review and for your appreciations about our property and our chef Laura!Thank you too for your tips;only I'm a little bit disappointed that of all our service: 1)free taxi service for your friends from bus stop to Casa Galó in the middle of the night (1 am) after a simple telephone call (not at all difficult calling us, you had our telephone number and we live 5 min far from the property!!) ;2) free linen; 3) free parcel delivery, after your leaving, directly at your friend Camilla's home of their forgotten at Casa Galó silver necklace (the delivery was completely by our charge!!), parcel delivery at the property during your stay of your things forgotten at the previous hotel you stayed, personally from my mother (you know we preferred delivery to our house to avoid delivery at the property when you was not there; 4) not due disposable service of very abundant waste inside and out of the apartments (this is usually guest's task); 5) differentiated homecooking service for vegetarians and not vegetarians in the same meal, you remember now only the air conditioning payment that, if you see, is very clearly specified in our section "additional informations about rental rates" just under the rates on Casa Galó home away listing, but also we remembered you that AR conditioning was an extra in a 5 months ago mail because we want to specify that however linen for you was free; and also you remember the only hour during your stay (really 10 min because after your complaint I immediately called out of the pool the boys!) that my 2 little children went in the pool (not all the family o no!!this is not true! only the two children) when I came the day before your leaving to have information about your check-out hour; really was a very hot day and it did not seem true to my children making a dive, but sure I accept this tip that we should have ask the permit. Finally we usually drink tap water all the year and really we are not ill! The only problem is that in Sicily tap water has chlorine taste. My and my mother's tel number is registered on home away listing and you can see it immediately after booking, you know because your friends called us for being transported at the property. Hallo , we read the review with real emotion because you felt the real spirit of our property that has in my father, the "surly good", the moving centre. Hallo Mr.Fredo,thank you very much for your kind review and the appreciation for our property! I think the persons you mean and that was in the property was the owner, (not all the day presence,but only when it's necessary) the pool's cleaner (every morning the cleaner come and clean the pool from 7,30 to 9,30 am, and you also agreed in your review that this is a real vantage for the guest so he doesn't need cleaning by himself the pool and the solarium and they are everyday very clean and all the guests had every staying appreciate this service), she work alone, no possible speaking with other cleaners because there aren't other cleaners in the morning)I suppose you did a bit confusion with the check-out day : if you remember well usually the check-out is at 10 am but your group had the plane late (6 pm of Saturday ,I remember perfectly) so we did you the courtesy of staying longer on the property (despite we are waiting for anorher big group at 4 pm!) leaving you two apartments and the pool to stay longer (Gelso and Sicomoro if you remember), well, the cleaners came to clean the other adiacent apartments already free (your friend leaved early st 9 am if you remember) but I think is very normal for a check-out day and for an check-out hour and I'm sorry that you didn't appreciate staying long only for this reason; no absolute possible for the cleaners starting cleaning after your leaving at 12 and cleaning well all the big property leaving you alone also the check-out day ,I'm very sorry! other worker that come at the property is the gardener, he works far from the apartments and we need his work in a property of 40.000 square meters full of flowers, plants and trees. No other neighbours are inside the property!this is really unfear, but only the owner,and I want also to specify that we rent all the property with all their appliiances only to group ,since 2012 we refuse single reservation of the property's apartments ,we works only with single groups that occupy and enjoy alone all the villa , so it's impossibile having neighbours'!the only other apartment in the property, not adiacent to the villa ,Is owner's apartment and it's possible you didn't recognized this, I suppose ,and you did a bit confusion. No any owner's friends come because we are very very careful about this for full respect of the guests ,so sorry but this is absolutely unfear. The things that guests usually really appreciate in our property is that is very quiet (like you can read in all the other reviews!)and the respect and privacy of the owner. I think you refer when I must comimg for garbage's problem but that day the city service sent us a mulct for your not differentiated garbage so I must come and reccomand you doing the differentiated garbage in their proper single boxes to avoid another mulct: anyway no problem we paid for you the mulct. The only problem I agree and I'm very very sorry for this is that a cat that came just some days simultaneously your arriveal; we understood only after it was a neighbour's cat that came because the neighbour left for holidays, I don't know if the cat stayed here, I suppose because you gave him food because I knew usually cats stay where is food ,but, anyway I agree that it was not right; for your quiet staying, however we tried finding in those days a pet shop that accepted him, because here in Italy is forbidden leaving alone animals in the countryside, so we sent many photographs of the cat to many shops, but it wasn't simple found it because it wasn't a puppie but an adult and animals' shop usually want only puppies you know! we finally found a shop that accepted him on monday after your leaving so now fortunately no any cat's problem there is for the other guests now! I hope you also appreciated we didn't ask you paying city taxes for 7 days (like you can read on Vrbo you must pay to the owner the city taxes) and we also paid those for you, even if these things may not have been enough to compensate for the discomfort for the cat and for my reproach about the garbage that has created a bit of hatred in you.
