New for 2024, AC in both bedrooms and on the 3rd floor. Casa Bella Vista is a typical Ligurian House with stunning sea views .The village of Manarola is situated within the unique landscape of the Cinque Terre National Park. The property has been renovated to a high standard and includes Wi-Fi. The accommodation is provided over four floors with the additional benefit of a roof terrace. The ground floor entrance leads to a living and dining area with seating for 6, with a fully equipped kitchen on the 3rd floor. A spiral staircase provides access to the roof terrace for outdoor dining and casual seating. Bathrooms are situated on the 1st and 2nd floor, and each include a shower, toilet and bidet. The bedroom on the 1st floor has two single beds, the bedroom on the 2nd floor has a king sized bed. A double sofa-bed is situated on the 3rd floor.
The property is a five minute walk up a steep hill from the centre of the village, and is therefore not ideal for very young children or the infirm.

Getting to Manarola: The most convenient airports for the Cinque Terre are Pisa, Genova (Genoa), and Parma. Travel from the airport to Manarola is best by train, as vehicles are not permitted in the village, however public pay parking is available at the top of the village, euro 20 per day. Alternatively, it is possible to arrange in advance a private garage space at an additional cost of euro 25 per night.

Local facilities : Manarola has several excellent restaurants and bars, two pizzerias, a gelateria, juice bar and a cash machine. As a working village, it also has two small supermarkets, a pharmacy, Post Office and a selection of shops selling locally made gifts and produce.

Out and about: The best way to discover the Cinque Terre is on foot, along the many paths through terraced vineyards and olive groves giving spectacular views of the sea. The five villages of the Cinque Terre, Riomaggiore, Manarola, Corniglia, Vernazza, and Monterosso each have their own unique identity, and a wealth of history to explore.

Further afield, La Spezia is the largest town in the area, and is reached easily by a 10 minute train journey. Portofino and Portovenere are also good destinations.

Family Trip in Manarola

Fantastic, clean property with stellar views. Management was excellent to deal with. I would highly recommend this property to anyone. There are steep, narrow stairs in the villa so I would not recommend this property for anyone with any type of mobility issues.

Unbeatable view with a few shortcomings

The view and location were great. However, the ants, hard beds in some rooms, and the intermittent substantial shower temperatures changes kept it from being a 5. We would stay there again. The view far outweighs the negatives of this property.

Cinque Terre

Fantastic location. Beautiful home as advertised just like the pictures. We were able to visit and enjoy all five lands with ease from this location. Train quickly from Manarola to all five lands, or hike if you please. Restaurants, Coffee Shops, and Gelato shops throughout town. No bad views or sunsets. The rooftop deck on the home provided great views of the ocean, harbor, and sunsets. The owner Jo was an excellent communicator and made sure our stay was great. 5 Stars. If we come back to the area we would definitely stay here again.

Fabulous authentic location

The pictures simply cannot do justice to the location. The roof top view alone is worth every dollar/euro. It is a bit of an adventure with the stairways and doorways, but completely worth it for those who are fit and able. Five adults thoroughly enjoyed our time here and will come again. Manarola was our favorite of the 5 towns. We recommend “Hellocinqueterre” for the sunset boat tour. They were terrific! Many thanks to Jo and her management company.

Beautiful location

The location of this property is outstanding. It doesn’t get better. Everything is close and the view is beautiful. However, this property had some quirks that made the stay less comfortable, such as the slouchy couches, kitchen without a few essentials (like salt), qnd leaks on the first floor (this may have been due to the very heavy rains while we visited). Also, if you have any kind of physical challenges, this property would not be ideal for you due to the narrow, steep, stairs. Manarola is a wonderful town, and we were glad to visit for a few days.

Best location in the Cinque Terre!

We throughly enjoyed our stay. The views from every floor and especially the rooftop terrace were phenomenal. The location was very convenient to get into town, but far enough up and way from the town center to escape the bustle. The manarola deep water swimming within a 5 min walk made this property so lovely for our family. Only tricky part is all the stairs, but it’s par for the course in the Cinque Terre. We travelled with an 18 month old, so we had to keep extra close eyes on him at all times. Even still, it was well worth it!

Stunning view

We stayed here for three nights (in Oct 23) of our month vacation in Italy. This was one of our favorite stays. The view is stunning, & we enjoyed dinner and drinks from the roof top watching the sun set. This is on the top of the cliff but the walk up was pretty easy, it’s just up a gentle sloping walkway from middle of town. The multiple levels in the apartment were no issue for us…we are 61 & 57. The apartment had portable air conditioners that worked great. In fact we are going to buy some of these when we get home. Manarola was our favorite town in Cinque Terre so really glad we stayed there.

Even Better than Pictures

Amazing views on every floor and rooftop was stunning, even better than the pictures. The perfect location for every meal. Location was ideal, just beyond busy street. Through a short (albeit steep stairs) you can be dock side in under 5 min. for early morning swims. The kitchen was well equipped and there were plenty of clean linens. No AC was a little adjustment at first, but space was cool and very breezy so we ended up really enjoying the fresh sea air through the large picturesque windows. The stairs were as expected, a challenge for the elderly in our party but otherwise ok. Responsiveness and instructions of host were stellar. Highly recommend!

Great location but rundown and dirty inside

Amazing views and location, but we stayed here 16 years ago and I don’t think anything has changed since then. Quite dirty, bathrooms especially weren’t very clean and with a dirty shower etc. With the amount this cost, it would be great to have air con installed or at least some decent fans as it’s very very hot in there over summer, also our euro plugs didn’t work which was frustrating, would have been good to know this before we arrived

A Cave with A View

This house has so much charm and amazing views. As with anyone visiting Cinque Terre, you must like stairs as there are four different floors in the house. There were some issues with the air unit making a knocking noise during our family's stay which we reached out to property management about. They were not able to get someone over to service it during our stay though. Hopefully, they got someone to fix it before the next person's stay as our group left one day early to get some rest somewhere more quite. The interior of the house is very cool though and seemed to stay pretty cool for the most part on its own.

The place was not as clean as it should have been for the high per night rate paid.

This view from this property was undeniably beautiful. Unfortunately, the floors were not clean as there was hair and ants on the floor and bathrooms were also not that clean. We did mention it to the property manager(s) and the reply was sorry but no offers to fix it. I did find the bug spray and took care of the ants daily. When we needed a flame stick to start the oven, they could not deliver it to us. Also, because there is no air conditioning, the fans were not enough so we had to open windows at night but got bitten by bugs.. two weeks later, still require care. Also, the ad does say there are 5 levels, but the steps were straight up and down inside and a bit hard to navigate inside the unit.

Charmantes Haus mit tollem Blick

Wir waren in der Hochsaison für mehrere Tage dort. Morgens wurde vor der Hitze gewandert, später geschwommen. Manarola ist wie auch die anderen Orte klein und sehr touristisch. Dies ist eigentlich nicht so unser Fall. Aber die schattig wie sonnige Dachterrasse mit dem tollen Blick und der Brandung ließ uns gerne im Haus verweilen. Das Haus ist aber auch schmal, die Einrichtung ist zwar daraufhin optimiert, aber deshalb gibt es keinen Esstisch und die Treppen bedürfen einer gewissen Vorsicht. Nur die unterste Ebene war nicht sauber, diese haben wir aber auch weder benutzt noch benötigt. Das Haus ist charmant und sehr gut ausgestattet. Selbst ohne Klimaanlage wurde es im Hochsommer nicht zu heiß, dank einer steten frischen Brise und weil man nachts das Haus gut runterkühlen kann. Eine sehr ruhige Lage, abgesehen von der Brandung.

Schönes Ferienhaus in Manarol

Lesen Sie die Reviews, um ein Bild vom Ferienhaus zu erlangen. Insgesamt handelt es sich um ein sehr schönes Ferienhaus mit einigen Highlights, aber auch einigen negativen Punkten. Positiv: Lage mit spektakulärem Blick, Dachterrasse, WLAN, Manarola war nach unserer Einschätzung auch das schönste und für einen längeren Aufenthalt am besten geeignete Dorf der Chinque Terre Negativ: mangelhafte Sauberkeit, der unterste Raum konnte nicht genutzt werden (unangenehmer Kellergeruch und feucht - wir hatten aber im Rest des Hauses genug Platz), Lage (beliebte Abendplätze von Nachtschwärmern direkt vor den Schlafzimmerfenstern, Gespräche und Zigarettenrauch oft bis tief in die Nacht)

Diese Bewertung wurde vor 2018 eingereicht und wurde nicht geprüft.

super toller Ort, sehr gute Lage des Ferienhauses, etwas sehr Besonderes

Manarola ist ein sehr schöner Ort mit steilen Klippen, azurblauem (salzigem) Meer und der schönste der 5 Orte die zum Nationalpark Cinque terre gehören. Das Ferienhaus ist genial auf dem Berg gelegen, Du kannst von der Terrasse aus zur Badestelle gucken und aus der Ferne (Deine) die badenden Kinder sehen. Das Haus ist sehr schmal und das Wohnen über 4 Etagen verteilt. Es gibt eine schmale Treppe, die zu den Etagen führt. Große Koffer sind also nicht geeignet zum Hochschleppen. Das Haus (und die Terrasse) war leider sehr staubig bei unserer Ankunft, so dass wir bei der Hausverwaltung vor Ort dies reklamieren mußten. Die Reinigungskraft kam dann den darauffolgenden Tag und hat noch einmal geputzt. Dies war auch schon der einzige Kritikpunkt, deshalb gibt es einen Stern Abzug. Für die, die mit Auto anreisen (wie wir) muss noch gesagt werden, dass der Parkplatz vor dem Eingang des Städtchens kostenpflichtig ist und bezahlt werden muss. Wir haben für 5 Tage ca. 65 Euro bezahlt. Weiter geht es dann zu Fuß (ca. 15 min.) zum Ferienhaus. Ansonsten ist Manarola wunderbar angebunden an das öffentliche Bahnnetz und den Schiffsverkehr. Wer über La Spezia kommt, kann beides super nutzen und umgeht die Parkgebühren. Der Zug fährt dann auch an der Küste entlang und hält in allen Städtchen wie Monterosso al Mare, Levanto.... (nördliche Route). Wir kommen wieder, da die Kinder viel Spaß hatten und man fit bleibt in dem Örtchen, schon allein, wegen der vielen Stufen und natürlich aufgrund des Angebotes vor Ort (Schwimmen, Trekking, Montainbiking).

My Casa has a beautiful sun terrace which is rare in Manarola, with stunning views of the sea. The property is very traditional with lots of original features, in particular the open rock formation on the ground floor.
