VacanceLuberonFr is a completely independent gîte (10 x 5m swimming pool, enclosed garden, car park, garage...). The tenant's family and guests are the only users of these facilities. The house is not overlooked.
Living room
The central heating is oil-fired. Each radiator is fitted with a thermostatic valve. In winter, the house is pre-heated 24 hours before our guests arrive.
On the coffee table in the living room, you'll find information from various tourist offices to help you prepare for the next day's hikes in the Luberon, Verdon, Alpilles, Camargue and Calanques regional parks.
One of the cupboards in the dressing room contains board games, books and magazines about the region.
Smoke and carbon monoxide alarms are fitted.
Three bedrooms
One of the bedrooms is on the garden level. This is appreciated by people who have difficulty getting around on the stairs.
The mattresses are all 200 cm long. One mattress is 160 cm wide and the other two are 140 cm wide.
A water point with shower is available for the bedroom on the garden level. Another is located in the bathroom with bath on the first floor.
The two WCs on each level are separate from the shower rooms.
Multimedia
The flat-screen TV, with a diagonal of over 150 cm, receives DTT channels as well as video via the internet (fibre optic + Google TV). Foreign language channels, including English and German, are available. Access to video on demand (VoD) services is available via Netflix, PrimeVideo and OQEE by Free.
ChromeCast displays videos from the holidaymaker's smartphone on the TV.
A Blu-ray DVD player is connected to this TV to view any DVDs brought in by holidaymakers.
The hi-fi system includes :
- TV sound input
- FM RDS tuner with 24 pre-selected stations
- CD player
- Bluetooth receiver input for listening to music from your smartphone.
Teleworking (or ‘travance’)
The two upstairs bedrooms can be used for teleworking. Two WiFi hotspots provide good signal distribution. There is also good Wi-Fi coverage in the garden and around the swimming pool.
The internet connection is via fibre optics. This means that upload and download speeds are more than sufficient for several teleconferences to take place at the same time.
Each room has an RJ45 socket connected to the internet. 4G/5G reception is very good, as the transmitter is less than 950m as the crow flies from the house.
Baby facilities
The following baby equipment is available: cot, high chair, stair gate, bath, changing mat, babyphone and bottle warmer.
Swimming pool
The swimming pool is open all year round.
To help parents supervise their children, the pool has two safety features: a perimeter alarm and a metal barrier with an automatically-closing gate.
To limit its environmental impact, the pool is heated naturally by the sun.
Garden
The enclosed garden features
- a table tennis table with four rackets and balls,
- a petanque area with pairs of boules,
- a Weber charcoal barbecue with a lighting chimney to quickly prepare coals for optimal meat cooking.
Price
The price of the stay includes
- the cost of heating, gas, electricity and water
- use of wifi,
- access to SVOD: Netflix; PrimeVideo; OQEE by Free
- telephone calls to landlines in Europe.
The tourist tax is deducted directly by Abritel, which pays it directly to COTELUB.
A deposit of €500 will be required on arrival (check-in). This will be returned at the time of departure (check-out).
Optional charges (or ‘guest fees’) will be paid at check-in.
As an indication, for 2025, the price of optional charges is :
- end-of-stay cleaning: €75/stay
- pair of sheets + pillowcases: 8 €/bed/stay
- bathroom linen (large + small towels): 5 €/person/stay
- slow recharging of an electric vehicle: €0.32/kWh. Consumption is measured by an individual meter connected to the charging point.
- Other optional charges are available on request.
Booking periods
From mid-July to mid-August, the minimum stay is 10 nights.
As far as possible, 30 hours are allowed between each booking to ensure that the accommodation is cleaned properly.
A key box is available for late arrivals. In this case, the reception will be held in person the following day.

Darum fiel die Entscheidung auf diese Unterkunft
The house was built and furnished gradually for 15 years (from 1995 to 2010) as and when funds became available independently. Once complete, it was this house that was eventually set aside for rental as furnished holiday accommodation. However, when the accommodation is not occupied, it is used for the owner's family or friends passing through. This provides an opportunity to note minor defects that might not yet have been reported and to fix them before the next guests arrive.

All bedding is new and intended for “sensitive backs”.
What the owners like about this gîte is the large space in the kitchen and living room for setting up tables to accommodate up to thirty family members.
The environment is quiet, especially as the access route is a private cul-de-sac.
In 2012, the town abandoned all networks and over head lines, creating an unobstructed view over the Luberon and the valleys surrounding the gîte.
