"We spent this winter holiday in Argentiere, in a little place at the bottom of the majestic Mont Blanc. I found the town extremely cozy and comfortable, with no hustle and bustle, with no cable car queues.
As it is very common in France we were staying in a chalet having a merry company of friends and children around us. The chalet turned out to be very nice, much nicer than it had been expected according to the pictures. Every detail had been taken care of, there was a drying cupboard for our skis, an extra one for the boots (by the end of our vacation it was broken, but manager promised to fix it), a washing machine also with a drying cupboard, a well equipped kitchen, a sauna and, of course, a splendid jacuzzi on a small lawn behind the house surrounded by the forest descending from the mountain. So after skiing you could put into the warm water of jacuzzi treating yourself to a glass of champagne or beer and admiring the sky full of stars and taking in the snow-covered mountains. And what is more important you didn’t need to either switch it on or wait for the water to get heated up – the only movement you had to do was to uncover it and there it was – warm water welcoming you.
There were six bedrooms in the house, all of them quite spacious, we even managed to fit in with comfort two children beds for our little ones. Each bedroom had a bathroom, which I found very comfortable indeed. Almost each bedroom had a panoramic view either of the forest or the next hill, and three out of six bedrooms had an extra way out to the balcony. I would also say many thanks to Nicolas(owner), he gave us a lot of useful suggestions regarding restaurants, ski rentals etc. He spent a lot time for it and I appreciate it. We spent two terrific weeks there and I hope we will come there back soon
