Beautiful property set in the heart of north Normandy close to various attractions. Lovely pool and well kept gardens. The children especially enjoyed collecting the eggs from the chickens every morning. Thank you Isabelle and John-Pierre!

Beautiful House and a perfect stay!!!

This is the most beautiful house, a real French escape!!! The pool and the grounds are great fun especially for the kids and every detail is thought about. The chickens were a real highlight for our youngest. We had friends come and stay too who used the pool house to stay in which is great as it gives everyone a lot of space. You do need a car when staying here, as nothing is in walking distance and you need a car to get places. We found uber worked well though. But the house and grounds are so lovely you don’t really need to leave!! We had a great holiday and will definitely be back!!

Fabulous family holiday

We really enjoyed our stay in Le Torpt! The children particularly enjoyed the lovely pool, ping pong and getting eggs from the chickens every day. The neighbour Jean Pierre is a gentleman and opens and closes and maintains the pool every day so it is pristine. The house is near town for groceries but for dining out we went further afield to Honfleur or Deauville which are about 30 minutes away. The house is cozy and there are only 2 bedrooms- the other room is in a separate guest house which we didn’t use but would be fantastic if you had grandparents joining you. There is a huge amount to do in the area including the D day beaches, viewing horse racing, horse riding, kayaking etc. Most things are a drive away so a car is a must. We will definitely think of Normandy and Isabelle’s lovely home again for our next holiday.

Super séjour !!

Maisons (2) décorées avec raffinement, tres bien équipées, piscine chauffée, grand jardin, poulailler,( nous avons ramassé les œufs) toboggan et balançoire, boulodrome, ping pong, les enfants de 3,8et 10 ans ont adoré Commerces à 10 minutes et beaucoup d'activités dans un rayon de 20km, parfait aussi bien pour les parents que pour les enfants !! Et Jean Pierre, le voisin, est aux petits soins Et le temps normand était clément ! Nous reviendrons 👍👍👍👍

Une chaumière de conte de fées

Espace, tranquillité, confort, proximité des commerces, et qualité du service, avec les voisins pour nous renseigner et nous informer du fonctionnement de la maison. Très chouette chaumière typique dans un bel écrin de verdure avec une magnifique piscine chauffée.

Très chouette chaumière rénovée avec style dans un bel écrin de verdure. La maison est confortable pour une famille de 4 personnes et un bébé. Si on est plus nombreux, une petite annexe peut également être occupée. La piscine chauffée et le jardin sont indéniablement le point fort de la location. La chaumière est située en pleine campagne (idéal pour se resourcer) mais la petite ville de Beuzeville où l'on trouve boulanger, bouchers, Intermarché etc est à 5 minutes en voiture. Honfleur est également tout proche. La communication avec la propriétaire a été très facile et agréable et le voisin qui s'occupe de l'accueil et de la piscine est aux petits soins si besoin! Bref, une très chouette expérience.

Gorgeous Property with a touch of luxury

We had a wonderful week in this beautiful property, which is full of gorgeous furniture and accessories. The pool is immaculately maintained with plenty of very comfortable poolside furniture for proper relaxation. More than enough outdoor tables, chairs and sun shades. And inside, everything you need to make your stay comfortable. My husband, 6ft 3” , had to carefully negotiate the low beams throughout the property to save his head, but such is the nature of a lovely old thatched building of this age.

Lovely retreat

There are the mainhouse and a guesthouse, both are very nice. Good equipment and very cozy. The outdoor swimming pool was very clean and nice and it was heated to 27-28 degrees. The neighbors were very kind, and Jean Pierre came every day and opened the pool at 9:30 and closed it at 21:00. He also took care of the garden. All in all a place we would like to come back to.

Absolutely fantastic

We have just returned from the most relaxing 2 weeks in Isabelle’s beautiful cottage. The cottage and garden are absolutely stunning and fantastically maintained. Isabelle has thought of everything you could possibly need....from the sun loungers to the dishwasher, to the fresh eggs from the chickens and the table tennis table! My children had the most wonderful time running around the garden, playing in the pool and playing table tennis. There is so much space, it’s incredible! If peace and quiet is what you want, this is definitely the best place to stay. Both Isabelle and the neighbours are easily contactable and any questions were answered so quickly. The Intermache was a 7 minute drive and has everything you could need! Honestly for a holiday to totally relax and get away from the hectic everyday, this is the most amazing place.

Fantastic Stay at Le Torpt !!!!!!!

We wanted to go to Normandie and booked Isabelle's house in Le Torpt near Beuzeville. We had a fantastic time , All you need is in or by the house. Washing Machine/Dryer , all things to cook , to make coffee etc. We also could use the outdoor barbeque !! The heated pool is big and also fantastic , always 28 degrees !! The property is surrounded by a fence with a electric door , wich is very safe !! Its amazing quiet on the property , a good place to rest out really good , only noise of birds. Groceries need to be done at Beuzeville , there are some supermarkets and a fabulous bakery , where i drove to every morning for fresh baked bread and croissants. To go to the invasion beaches you need to drive , to Point du Hoc is arround 120 km , we also visited Mont St. Michel wich is 200 km , Dauville and Honfleur were also great and are on a short drive , also visited Rouen wich has a nice centre. For dining there is not much choice in Beuzeville , we have driven to Honfleur a couple of times for dinner. To fill your car with fuel or diesel go to the carrefour in Beuzeville , it is the cheapest place arround. We also had 2 visitors who stayed in the guesthouse a couple of nights , they also had a fantastic time. Shortly said : If you need rest......this is the place to stay , if you want to see things........this is the place to be. Also the house keeper Mr. Pesnel is a very friendly and helpfull man , he takes care of all things arround the house , Isabelle helped us on distance , she was there every time we needed her. Thank you Isabelle and Mr Pesnel for our fantastic Holliday at your amazing property................. ah before i forget.........you can shop also in the garden........various fresh fruits from the various trees in the garden............wich tasted very good ;-) Kind regards , René , Mirella , Maik and Isa <3

Je reviens dès que possible !!

J'ai passé avec ma femme et mon Fils un weekend parfait beau temps jardin entretenu à la perfection piscine agréable a part 3 voitures dans tout le weekend nous n'avons pas entendu un bruit très reposant. A l'intérieur comme à l'extérieur absolument rien ne manque c'est comme à la maison ! Accueil parfait contact avec la propriétaire charmant. A recommander pour couper de tout se reposer sans le moindre effort. Ca a été un vraiment bonheur.

très belle prestation

Notre séjour dans cette propriété pleine de charme, nous a ravis.Nous étions 6 adultes et deux bébés. La maison chaleureuse et la (grande) piscine nous ont maintenus souvent sur place. La petite ville de Breuzeville présente une offre de commerces de bouche très satisfaisante. La côte est très proche, et les plages du débarquement très vite accessibles. Bref un séjour enchanteur, et une logeuse très à l'écoute. Cette location est à recommander, tant par son charme que par la disponibilité de la propriétaire et des personnes chargées de l'accueil.

A really beautiful place

Our party consisted of 2 adults and 2 children. A stunning house, garden and pool. We were delighted when we arrived and the cottage certainly surpassed all expectations. Rustic charm, clean, well equipped and all the comforts of home. A fantastic location to just relax. Isabelle was great and kept in touch throughout our stay and was always available to answer any queries. The kids especially loved the pool and spent hours each day in it. Local village/town (Buezeville) only a 4-5 minute drive away including a big supermarket. Hon fleur is definitely worth a visit, try local cider too. We would highly recommend this property.
