Thank you so much for the wonderful review! We’re thrilled that you loved your stay at Appalachian Escape and found the cabin cozy, clean, and well located for enjoying Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. We’re especially glad the games were a hit - they’re a great way to unwind and have some fun together after a day exploring the Smokies. We also appreciate your kind words about our responsiveness. We personally manage our cabins and are always happy to help when questions come up. It was a pleasure hosting you, and we would absolutely love to have you back at Appalachian Escape for your next Smoky Mountain getaway!

What an amazing cabin to have the privilege to rent. Absolutely beautiful inside and out. Plenty of things to do right there if you dont want to go out and about. Spacious and clean. Stocked with all the amenities you need. My favorite part was coffee, in the morning, on the deck, in one of the many rocking chairs. Very peaceful indeed! Memories made Thank you Victoria and Todd!!!

Thank you so much for taking the time to share this! We’re especially happy to hear that you enjoyed the cabin itself, but even more so that you found those quiet moments on the deck with a cup of coffee and a rocking chair. That peaceful morning setting is one of our favorite things about Appalachian Escape, too. We put a lot of thought into making the cabin comfortable and well-equipped, so it means a lot to hear that you had everything you needed to enjoy your time there without even having to leave. Most of all, we’re glad Appalachian Escape gave you a place to slow down and make some good memories. Thank you for choosing our cabin and for taking such great care of it. We’d love to have you back anytime! Victoria and Todd

We had an amazing time here. Cabin was extremely clean and in a great location. Close to everything we wanted to do but secluded enough to have privacy while hanging out outside. Lots of things for us and the kids to do indoors and out. We would definitely stay here again.

Samantha, thank you - we're glad the cabin delivered on all fronts. It's always great to hear that the location worked well: close enough to get out and explore, but private enough to actually unwind. We put a lot of thought into making our cabin family-friendly, so it's nice to know the kids had plenty to keep them busy, too. Hope to have you back. Victoria and Todd ~ bluemountaincabins

Perfect balance of seclusion and convenience! We had an absolutely wonderful stay here! The layout was incredibly comfortable and spacious enough for our two families of four (8 people total) to never feel like we were stepping on each other's toes. The location truly offers the best of both worlds. It feels completely secluded - like your own private cabin tucked away in the woods - yet it’s just a short drive to both Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. We were able to easily head out to explore all the latest tourist attractions during the day and retreat back to our peaceful, quiet mountain oasis in the evening. Highly recommend this property for families or groups traveling together.

Thank you, Jenine - this made our day! Two families sharing a space without getting in each other's way is exactly what the layout is built for, so it's great to hear it delivered. You captured the location perfectly - close enough to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg to make day trips easy, far enough away to actually feel like you've escaped. We hope to have you and your families back at Appalachian Escape. Victoria and Todd - Blue Mountain Cabins

The cabin was amazing!! Loved that we were able to enjoy the fire pit and the grassy area for games. The cabin is very spacious and everything was in great condition. We will definitely be going back to this property the next time we make it out to the smokies. Driveway is steep but we had no problems getting there and parking was flat and allowed room to turn around before heading out.

Thank you so much for your kind review and for choosing to stay with us! We're thrilled to hear you had a great time and enjoyed the property overall. Just to clarify, while the driveway does have some incline (as many do in the Smoky Mountains), it's fully paved, in excellent condition, and very typical for the area. We enjoyed our stay but we were a little disappointed with the amount of dust and cobwebs throughout the main rooms of the cabin. Upon arrival, we found thick layers of dust in several areas, a pile of food crumbs under the dining room table, and cigarette ashes all over the picnic table on the outside porch. The downstairs bedroom was especially dusty, and we realized after checking in this bedroom was not pictured in the listing. In the listing, the larger upstairs bedroom is actually pictured twice with different bedding and wall hangings. Downstairs bedroom is quite small and the pull chain to the light is broken so don’t plan on using the fan while you sleep u less you sleep with the light on. And if you’re taller than 5’11”, watch your head! You’ll hit your head on the downstairs bedroom ceiling fan. Pool table is small with short sticks. The hot tub was very low upon arrival so we had to wait a while for it to warm up before using it after filling it up. I would recommend bringing your own cozy blankets as none of the blankets on beds were warm and the extra blankets in downstairs bedroom closet looked worn and stained. Other than that, we really enjoyed our stay and had a great time. We loved the seclusion with no visible neighbors and the old school arcade machine was a lot of fun.
