Big Red's Cabin ist eine Ski-In-Ski-Out-Kabine in Angel Fire, New Mexico. Sie werden dieses 300 m² große Haus genießen, das sich auf einem Hektar direkt an der Skipiste von Headin 'Home befindet. Diese rauchfreie Hütte bietet Platz für 12 Personen in den 3 Schlafzimmern sowie einem übergroßen Schlafraum. Ein großes großes Zimmer, Küche, Master-Suite, Waschküche und WC befinden sich auf der Hauptebene. Die Master-Suite verfügt über einen Fernseher, ein Kingsize-Bett, eine Waschküche und ein großes Master-Bad. In der unteren Ebene der Hütte befinden sich zwei Schlafzimmer, zwei Bäder, ein Schlafraum, ein Ski- / Schlammraum und eine Waschküche. Der Schlafraum verfügt über zwei Einzelbetten, ein Sofa, einen Fernseher, einen DVD-Player und eine Wii-Konsole.
Genießen Sie die 530 m² große Terrasse neben dem Wohnzimmer und der Master Suite. Nehmen Sie die Natur in sich auf und fangen Sie hoffentlich einige Besucher ein, da wir oft Rehe und Elche auf dem Grundstück haben.
Die Hütte ist ca. 30 Meter von der Skipiste entfernt. Sie können auf einem der beiden Decks sitzen oder aus den großen Fenstern schauen und den Skifahrern beim Vorbeifahren zusehen.
Die Gäste sind für alle Verbrauchsartikel verantwortlich. Wir haben einen Propangrill, füllen den Tank mehrmals im Jahr, können jedoch nicht garantieren, dass die Tanks immer voll sind.

Great location on the mountain
This was our 2nd time at the cabin and it was just as good as we remembered! Great location and easy on and off the trails. Kiddos had a blast with all the snow . If you are looking for a family friendly location you have to check this place out!

Cabin was great for our mountain biking get away. Very clean and comfortable cabin, lots of spices, kitchen tools to make dinner with. Soap (dish and hand soap) was available, unlike the posting says. Will definitely be back next year!!

Excellent Family Ski Trip
Our family has been going to Angel Fire for the past several years. If you’re looking for the convenience of ski in/out then look no further. Hike 20 yards off the back deck and you are standing on Headin Home ski trail. The cabin was very clean and comfortable. Just a 15 minute drive up the mountain from the base made for a great stay for our family ski trip. We will definitely be staying here again.

Beautiful Cabin On the Mountain
This cabin is truly spectacular. I can't emphasize enough how much we loved staying here. There is a lot of space (2 adults, 3 kids in our group) and we really enjoyed just relaxing on the large back deck watching the deer. I would love to stay here in the winter for skiing, since the access to the slopes is right behind the house. We would absolutely stay here again!

Winter Family Vacation
We really enjoyed this house for our family vacation. Best part, the ski-in and ski-out! Can't beat the location if you are looking for this particular feature. August in the mountains
We loved staying at the red cabin. The house was really perfect. The location was great, loved the walks and the views especially. The house was super clean and very well equipped, the beds were extremely comfy and the floor plan was great for friends and family. I highly recommend.

Outstanding!!
Our family had a terrific time at your cabin. There was plenty of room for grandparents, kids, and us to spread out. The house was beautiful and very clean. We enjoyed the peace and quiet the cabin offered. We also enjoyed being able to walk out the door and take a hike on the ski trail. We would most certainly stay here again.

Mountain Greatness
Our stay could not have been any better...we had three families and a total of 10 people(6 adults and 4 kids) vacationing together in Angel Fire...the cabin was spacious and very clean...it provided a large common space for all to gather and areas for each family to get off by themselves...be aware that the cabin is 25 minute drive up the mountain on a dirt road, but the view and solitude are well worth it...this is truly a 5 star property,

Great location
This is a true ski-in and out property. House is great. Deer greeted us every morning. Driveway was challenging for all of our 4WD vehicles but we did it! Ceiling in master bed had some leaks due to roof issues, but owner responded promptly. I would highly recommend this place!

Spoiled by location!
The location of the house was superb. Beautiful views with nightly deer visits! The ski in and ski out was priceless and I won’t be able to stay somewhere without that feature now. We are spoiled! Beds were comfy with plenty of options. Bathrooms were spacious and having 2 laundry rooms was very convenient while traveling with the entire family. Kitchen was nicely stocked. Extra bedding would have been nice but not a reason to not book!

Beautiful home fabulous location
Our family with 8 adults and 2 children had a wonderful time in your gorgeous home, comfortable beds and bedding, loved having 2 laundry rooms and the best feature was the mudroom, with a bench for booting up and trays for wet boots. Coat hooks and cubbies for everything. The location to the heading home run was spot on with easy access! Bathrooms were beautifully appointed and the heater with individual thermostats was very comfortable. My grandkids stayed in the game room and they thought it was awesome. Kitchen was a little short on utensils for a group like ours that loves to cook but next time we will come better prepared! See you next year ⛷🏂☃👍

Perfect first ski in ski out experience!
We could not have been happier with our cabin choice. I was a little worried when I booked this cabin just for the simple fact that at the time of booking it was still under construction and there were no reviews yet. When we arrived we were more than thrilled! It was absolutely beautiful! I would highly recommend this cabin to anyone wanting to stay close to the slopes. Loved the bunk room with two sets of bunk beds. Perfect for the kids! thank you so much to the owners for being so helpful. If you are considering staying here just do yourself a favor and go ahead and book. You will not regret it! One tip though...the driveway is very steep so do yourself a favor and take a four-wheel drive just in case the driveway is icy or snowy.

Best Ski Accommodations Ever!
Our family (from Louisiana and Mississippi) loves to ski. This year, we decided to do a ski in/ski out cabin because of our next generation of little skiers. This was the best cabin and the perfect location. Our new skiers could manage the ski in/out without difficulty! The cabin is spacious and has plenty of room. We will have more family members tag along on the next trip. We will definitely stay here again! The driveway entrance is fairly scary, even with 4 wd, due to the ice we encountered down on our arrival. During our stay, Angel Fire received 13" fresh snowfall in one day. The plow service was quick and efficient the following day without calling. The entire trip was so relaxing in this cabin. Nothing beats skiing out the back door! Thank you BIG RED CABIN!

Large family loves ski in ski out!
Our large family loves to ski and we REALLY love to be able to walk out the door and hop on our skis! We also love getting to ski in for a warm lunch and head back out for the day! This house is perfect, worked really well for everyone! And when they say it sleeps 12 they mean it! We had 10 people there and everyone had a bed with 2 beds leftover- the bedrooms are big and roomy. The one downside was the driveway--- VERY steep and even with chains the 1 vehicle (without 4-w drive)we had there couldn't get up the driveway without help ( we had to use a tow rope for the last little bit). We'll make sure we all come in 4Wheel drive vehicles the next time and there will definitely be a next time! My thanks to the Travascio's for sharing their wonderful cabin!

Thank you for the kind review! We have worked hard to provide a ski cabin that is ideal for our family and yours! We do highly recommend 4 wheel drive to all guests as mountain terrain and mountain driveways can be tricky!

Absolutely Beautiful
Ten of us (3 families) stayed and the house and property were amazing. The house was beautiful and offered much more than advertised. There were spices, oils, coffee, etc. There was plenty of room for all of us to have our own space and the three showers kept up with all of us taking turns. The special items were the chopped firewood on-site and the Wii in the kids bunk room!
You can tell this property owner keeps a wonderful rental and allows items that previous renters leave unused to be passed along for those who stay next such as soaps, paper towels and toilet paper, etc.
The only thing I didn’t notice about the property was the elevation of around 9,600 feet. It bothered a few of us but it wasn’t so bad that we couldn’t handle the discomfort.

The Perfect Cabin Getaway
This is the Perfect Cabin. We stayed in the summer, for a perfect week in July. The temperatures are in the mid 70's in the day, 50's and 60's at night. Perfect. We ate dinner looking as elk and deer walked by under the expansive deck. The house is very well laid out, with a kitchen open to the large family room. Kid's rooms are below, with a bunk room that my kids loved. Master upstairs, with tons of space, a gigantic closet, and there are even two washers and dryers, so if you need to wash while kids are sleeping you won't wake them up. I would love to stay here agin in ski season, as it is perfectly situated for ski-in ski out, we walked the easy pathway to the ski slope for hikes each day. The owners are kind, easy to talk to and very helpful and non intrusive. We had to do a bit of work, and the Internet and cable were very responsive, especially for so high up on the mountain. Don't waste any time in renting this house out if it is on your list, it's the perfect cabin and you won't regret it.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this ski-in/ski-out cabin! The property was incredibly well maintained, clean, and beautifully cared for, which made it feel both comfortable and inviting from the moment we arrived. The hosts were attentive, responsive, and clearly take pride in providing a great experience for their guests. Every detail was thoughtfully considered, and the amenities truly exceeded our expectations — everything we needed (and more) was right there. The location made getting on and off the slopes effortless, which was a huge plus. We would gladly stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and seamless mountain getaway.
