Xavier's apartment was exactly as described. It was clean, comfortable and well fitted out and was a perfect size for the 2 of us. The neighbourhood was quiet for a city as big as Barcelona however there were lots of amenities nearby. Shops were a few minutes walk away with a number of restaurants within 20-30 minutes walking. The only small issue is that, in common with many modern apartment blocks, sound insulation between the apartments was not great. We could hear flushing of water and something that sounded like a waste disposal unit from upstairs and the television from next door. Having said that, the neighbours were generally quiet between 11pm and 6am.

Highly recommend!

We had an excellent stay at Xavier’s place. The apartment was wonderfully furnished and both Xavier and his friend Maria were very welcoming and helpful. We loved the location—close to several Gaudi sites, in a neighborhood with many restaurants, etc., but also quieter than other area in Barcelona.

Given the extraordinary reviews for Xavier and his apartment, we had high expectations and it was even better than advertised. The apartment is well-appointed and immaculately clean--the cleanest apartment I have ever stayed in during my travels. Checkin was easy and Xavier gave us great restaurant recommendations and we loved the Gracia neighborhood. Xavier, thank you and we hope to be back soon.appointed lived up

Cool, convenient apartment in a quiet and safe area, close to many beautiful squares that come alive with locals at night, and not far to catch transit to all the main Barcelona sites. It worked very well for our teen son and us. Thank you!
