Love the three bathrooms, the pool, and the location. We didn't love Turtle Bay Beach itself and preferred driving over to Temple Beach in Laie, but the location was great for getting everywhere else we wanted to go and see. We even spent a couple of days exploring Honolulu. We had the same complaints mentioned in other reviews: the A/C and internet are inadequate. The small A/C unit in the loft never got the temperature below 80 degrees. Fortunately, those issues only really mattered when we were at the condo—we spent most of our time out exploring the island!

Loved the location close to Turtle Bay Ritz. Ten minute walk to the Ritz and was able to utilize their amenities. Loved the condo's kitchen - cooked breakfast and dinners every night. Great communication with the host.

Positives: Plenty of room. Location is a short 10 minute walk to beach access and hotel resort. Resort has several restaurants. Golf course is 5 minute walk. Condo property manager is on-site. Response time of owner was good. Well stocked with kitchenware and beach toys. Comfortable beds. Nice swimming pools with poolside barbecue grills. Good to have washer/dryer in unit.Negatives: Loft AC is not adequate. It was hot even with the windows open and two fans plus the ceiling fans going. internet awful. No outdoor seating like a balcony or porch attached to unit. The linai is the shared space at the top of the stairs. Nothing is allowed on the linai. Key fob system feels outdated. Hotel front desk said hotel pools/hot tubs are for hotel guest only and fitness center required day pass purchase.

The location was amazing. Our kids loved the pool! (It's heated) The beach access is very close. Hiking/walking trails are nearby. The condo itself was very comfortable and spacious for our family of 6.There were beach chairs, coolers, snorkel masks, fins, and more to use. (I wish there was a boogie board though.)The only complaint I have was the internet only worked for 2 of the 7 days we were there.

Great location

Property was great, spacious, clean and location is awesome. Second floor so bringing heavy suitcases up stairs was no fun but was worth the location.

Host was very responsive! Place was perfect for the North Shore. Less than 10 min walk to Turtle Bay resort (but in all honestly never really went). So many more beaches to visit up in North ShoreS. Min drive away from Kahuku which has a great food truck/eatery which we wait almost every night. A lot of options for family, house was well equipped. Has a cooler, boogie boards, snorkeling gear (although in Winter no shot at snorkeling due to high surf/waves) very comfortable for a family of 7. Definite must stay for North Shore.

Perfect island getaway

The condo and Turtle Bay Area are one of the best areas to stay in all of Oahu… perfect beaches just minutes away on foot, and all of the north shore activities and beach parks are all within a 15-20 minute drive!!! True spoils!!!

Better than expected

We loved the layout of the property, it worked perfectly for us. We were traveling with our two small kids and grandparents so the loft space worked out well for us. The location is great for all north shore activities and we went to the turtle bay beach every day.

Amazing area, beautiful, comfortable

Kuilima Estates is a wonderful property, adjacent to golf course, short walk to the shoreline, very well taken care of and manicured. This unit was perfect for our family of 5. We were very comfortable and enjoyed our trip. The North Shore is a super sweet spot, you won't be disappointed.

Aloha Nort'sho!

The home we stayed in was wonderful. We loved the stay. Kuulima Estates has always been a wonderful place to stay. The only thing I would suggest, the vacuum be replaced. SAND was everywhere when we got there and no broom in site. Thank you for the Aloha, and we hope to come back soon. God Bless!

Comfortable

Nicely furnished and decorated but a little deferred maintenance. Would have liked paper towels, kleenex, and sharper knives. Good communication.

Thanks much for the suggestions, we are currently working on new amenities and it seems have hit the mark on all your notes. Will have had a full renovation with travertine tile floors and new bathrooms. Looking forward to our new guests seeing how much effort we have put into the unit. Aloha

Perfect location

Overall this was great location to stay, 10 min from the Polynesian Center, 15 min from Hale'wa, 17 min from Wameia. The unit itself could have been better stocked with kitchen supplies. I'm use to staying in Vrbos that are pretty well stocked and this unit had minimal kitchen supplies, but overall we had what we needed for the week. I will note that this unit doesn't have central air, so the living area can get pretty warm. There is a window unit in the loft and the main bedroom, so those areas did stay cool. Host was overall easy to communicate with.
