We arrived during a heatwave, the first night the air conditioning blew warm air and the following morning it completely broke. We emailed Steve on the very first morning to ask him to fix this he replied just once. two days later to say he can’t get through to the management company and after that for the duration of our 8 day stay never once replied to any of our further emails requesting updates on the air con. Each day recorded temperatures in excess of 37 deg and by night it was sweltering in the apartment and we couldn’t even open the windows due to mosquitoes. Steve had a duty of care to look after his paying tenants in normal circumstances not to mind during a heatwave reported on on all news channels across Europe and he failed to do this. His prompt responses to our first email requesting to rent the property and my email to say we had arrived was lightning quick but the minute there was a problem he ignored our emails. As for ‘Luxury 2 bd apartment’ there was no garden, bbq or drier as advertised and air conditioning didn’t work. In his only reply two days later he told us the air conditioning was ‘never particularly cold’ anyway, obviously not serviced. In addition whenever we tried to use the dishwasher it tripped the power in the apartment. We emailed him multiple times about the air con and again at the end of our stay to request a partial refund to which we have received no reply. I would not recommend this place .
