Magnificent Villa and view

Very nice villa with great terraces and views of the ocean. This inside is spacious and so is the outside. We spent 30 days here and would love to come back in themfuture

A spacious and well appointed holiday home with all one needs for a long or short break. Lots of outdoor furniture and plenty of room on the two huge balconies, where the seaview is outstanding. Don't be put off by the stairs - we got used to them

Vila Mirante.

Fantastic location. Lovely accommodation. Lots of steps which was daunting but got better as the week went on. Access to the beach limited whilst we were there due to an upcoming festival. However you could access by walking a bit further. We really enjoyed the salt water pool. It’s about 20 mins walk down lots of steps .. fairly expensive but definitely worth it. Wonderful welcome from Aurora. She was very responsive and helpful. Nice lady. Thank you for having us.

Extraordinary apartment

It was an enjoyable experience.Apartment has breath-taking view of the ocean and the beach.All the amenities were furnished and well-maintained.Close to restaurants and shopping.Our host Francisco is very courteous and attentive to our needs.The only problem is that there is many stairs to climb.All in all we loved our stay in Praia da Rocha.

This rental was more than my wife and I had expected for our stay in Portimao..

The listing for this rental understates how great the accommodation and location is. However, we think that the number of steps on the property could be an issue for other possible renters. Whilst, we fully understood the need for the monitoring of the use of electricity during our stay, we would have appreciated to be advised in advance of an approximate additional cost to us of same.

An Absolute Gem

Everything about this villa was perfect from start to finish. It certainly has a wow factor when you arrive. It’s so beautifully furnished and comfortable. The views are superb and the balconies are so relaxing to ‘watch the world’ go by. Although it’s in quite a central location, it is a very peaceful property. Every night we listened to the sound of the sea to lull us to sleep. The villa is located right across from the beach and there are plenty of restaurants, bars and cafes to choose from. Maria was there to greet us upon arrival and the whole booking process with Teresa was easy. Definitely a special place and one we would like to revisit.

Amazing location and stay.

We have just finished our stay in Praia Da Rocha and had a fantastic time. The apartment was phenomenal. Pristine condition, amazing views, very well equipped, comfortable and in a great location. Francisco was wonderful and guided us through the apartment and locale. He left a bottle of wine and water for us to begin our week long stay. The apartment was cleaned and restocked with towels mid week. All communication was wonderful throughout our stay. We can’t say enough good things about this spot and we highly recommend it to anyone. There are a lot of stairs so anybody with mobility issues may not want to stay here but the view from the apartment is worth every step!

Fantastic Place to Stay

This is our second visit to Praia da Rocha, and we couldn't have picked a better place to spend our time. The views over the beach are fantastic, the apartment itself is great with two bedrooms (one en-suite) and further beds available on a sofa bed or fold out bed, which suited our family of 5. The apartment has everything you need including a washing machine, dishwasher, coffee machine.....the list goes on. A short walk along the main street gets you to all the main shops and restaurants, but you're just far enough away that its peaceful and quite if you want to just relax on the balconies and watch the world go by. If the owners are around when you visit then they are really nice, and Maria the housekeeper will help you out with anything you need. In our opinion, a perfect place to stay.

Locations don't get much better than this!

First of all both the owner of this property and Maria(who you will probably meet should you book) are both really helpful and will do whatever they can to make your stay as pleasant as possible. The location is perfect as it's just out of the main town however this can easily accessed in less than 5 mins of walking. To give you an idea I walked from the apartment right to the other end of town (for some AMAZING sushi) within 15 mins. The view from the apartment is stunning as you have a completely obscured views of the beautiful beach right out to sea. We had a family holiday with a 2 year old so didn't make full use of all the bars and restaurants but there is plenty to do locally as well as a good variety of attractions within easy driving distances i.e. zoos and water-parks. This is one of our favorite holiday destinations, as its within driving distance to where we live, so we will definitely be back.

Awesome Holidays

We had two wonderful weeks in this outstanding flat in Portimao! We found a perfect room layout for four persons, clean, cool and lovely arranged rooms, a fully equipped kitchen as well as a large livingroom with a breathtaking view which we could also enjoy from the two large terrasses. This lovely flat is very close to the beach with excellent restaurants and both the necessary infrastructure as well as the harbour are in walking distance. And then there was Francisco, who was already waiting for us on our arrival, ready to answer all our questions and give very helpful advice as to where to buy what, where to eat, what to visit….. On top of that he provided us with new towels twice a week and took care of fresh linen and a room cleanup after one week! All in all this flat exceeded our expectations by far and we are more than thankful for these wounderful days so very close to the north atlantic, in the sun and in this perfect location. We certainly hope to have the chance to visit again! Family Scheipers

Wonderful stay at Villa Mirante in Praia da Rocha!

My husband, a friend, and I very much enjoyed our stay at Villa Mirante! The house is beautiful inside and out. The house is very clean; towels and linens are changed weekly. The beds are very comfortable, as are the living room and dining area furniture. The water views from the living room, both bedrooms, and the two decks are lovely. The kitchen is very well supplied with pots, utensils, etc. for cooking meals. We slept very well and could not hear any street noise. It is within walking distance of many restaurants and shopping. The wide, clean sandy beach and ocean swimming were amazing. We caught the bus on the road right in front of the villa to go into the bigger market and shopping in Portimao. It should be noted there are stairs up to the property that could pose a problem for a person with physical challenges. Communication with Theresa was excellent. Francisco was wonderful; he was very helpful and easy to contact if necessary. We loved our stay at this very special and magical home, and highly recommend it!

Absolutely one of the best places we stayed at!! Location, location! Million dollar view!! Stop looking for anything else and book this place! The owner Teresa is quick to respond. Must book a min of 1 week, but you won’t want to leave!! I had a high search criteria: amazing ocean view; free parking on site; heating (as it gets cooler in the evenings in October by the ocean); super comfortable queen size bed; 2 TERRACES, 2 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms; whole top floor apartment so no noisy neighbours above, below, or on other side of wall; quiet to sleep good at night; kitchen with plates, cooking ware, etc; clean and fresh smelling (left bathroom window tilted all the time with those exterior shades down for privacy; easy and flexible check in with Francisco (who looks after the property), fast responses; safe neighbourhood; free wifi (fyi not the fastest speed so if you’re working remotely, there are 2 coworking spaces in walking distance - HUB Ativo and The Wave with about 500 mbps upload and 900 mbps download); easy walking distance to cafes, restaurants, casino, shops, groceries; perfect location for day trips! If you can’t do stairs, sorry! I have a hip issue so took my time on the stairs. No pain, no gain! Also several places within walking distance for vegan, gluten free people like me! Super friendly people everywhere we went!! Highly recommend!! Will definitely stay here again the next time we visit Algarve!

Die großzügige Wohnung mit fantastischem Blick auf das Meer war für uns zwei Wochen lang der perfekte Ausgangspunkt, um die Algarve zu erkunden. Trotz zentraler Lage direkt am Strand wunderbar ruhig. Die Wohnung selbst hat alles was man braucht. Wir wurden sehr nett empfangen und betreut und kommen gern mal wieder.

Die Ferienwohnung war einfach perfekt! Die Lage ist unschlagbar – direkt am Strand mit einer traumhaften Aussicht auf das Meer. Morgens beim Frühstück den Wellen zuzusehen war einfach unbezahlbar! Auch die Umgebung ist ideal: Wer Party machen möchte, shoppen oder einfach gemütlich durch die Straßen schlendern will, findet alles in wenigen Minuten zu Fuß. Restaurants, Bars und Ausflugsmöglichkeiten – alles liegt quasi vor der Haustür.Der Vermieter ist super freundlich und reagiert blitzschnell auf Anfragen – immer hilfsbereit und herzlich. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und kommen auf jeden Fall wieder. Absolute Empfehlung!

Die Lage ist top, man hört beim Aufwachen das Meer. Die Wohnung ist liebevoll eingerichtet mit genügend Stauraum. Es war alles vorhanden, was benötigt wurde, es gab sogar zweimal frische Handtücher und einmal einen Bettwäschewechsel. Fragen wurden umgehend beantwortet. Die Fronten der Küche müssten mal erneuert werden. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Unser Aufenthalt war perfekt - das Appartement ist ein kleines Juwel in Portimão und liegt sehr schön. Nur über die Straße und man ist an einem tollen Strand, in der Nähe waren auch zahlreiche Lokale und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Das Appartement ist zudem sehr gepflegt, geräumig, tipp-topp sauber und sehr gut ausgestattet. Wir haben tolle Tipps zur Umgebung bekommen und hatten permanent die Möglichkeit, mit den Vermietern in Kontakt zu treten - war nicht häufig, aber wurde sofort beantwort. Wir waren maximal zufrieden, haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und können die Unterkunft wärmstens weiterempfehlen. Einfach toll !!!
