This home was immaculate. Very nicely decorated and perfectly located for time spent in Afton. Neighbors were friendly and neighborhood was quiet and peaceful.

Large house near Jackson

Great house and location for a larger group. Susan was a terrific host. Afton is a beautiful area and also close to Jackson.

Comfortable and Quaint

Our stay could not have been more comfortable or quaint. Susan was absolutely wonderful to work with and the house is lovely!!!!

Perfect location in amazing Afton

We spent almost a week in Afton and the house was the perfect jumping off place. Great location close to everything yet so peaceful and quiet. We really enjoyed the fire pit, the large yard, and the very cozy home. The house was the perfect size for us-there were four of us and two full bathrooms plus a half bath was a luxury. Susan was a pleasure to work with and I really appreciated that she was able to answer any questions and also welcomed our feedback. Thank you Susan!

Lovingly kept in original condition

You can tell that this property was lovely built and has been just as lovely kept. It had everything that we needed. We stayed for a week and used mostly as a place to sleep since our family has outgrown grandma's house.

Truly The Star of the Valley!

Beautiful view with large windows! Very clean! Comfortable beds and furnishings. Ping Pong table in basement. Nice feeling about the whole experience!

Fantastic Home in Star Valley

This home is a nice as any VRBO I've ever had. Roomy, well appointed. The retro 1950's decor was classic and elegant. Absolutely loved our stay. We had some family drop by to visit and they have asked for the link to the property. Not sure I'll give it to them, I want to keep this one for myself. Susan was super to work with.

The Hale and McDavitt Family Reunion

Very Very Clean and 50's style home. It was wonderful. Te beds are comfy too. Such a pretty view of the mountains in beautiful Star Valley Wyoming. Walking distance to everything in town. Close to the beautiful Star Valley Temple as well. Thank you for a wonderful stay. Our family loved it.

Nice home, neat and clean.

Very nice home in a residential neighborhood. Stayed here while on business with two coworkers. Our use was restricted to sleep and occasional use of the TV and Internet. Quiet, spacious and clean. Deer roam the neighborhood in the evening and early morning!

Star of the Valley

Our family of eight stayed here for a nice weekend in Afton...gorgeous views from the front and back of the house...extremely comfortable beds with plenty of room for everyone. As regular users of VRBO, we really appreciated all the amenities this house had to offer, especially in the kitchen...plenty of dishes, cookware, and condiments. For our children the WiFi was a plus and the whole family enjoyed to ping pong table and how close we were to several beautiful drives/hikes into the mountains...Cottonwood Lake is a "must see" for anyone who loves the mountains and breathtaking views. We will be back.

Great place!

We stayed at this property last week for a family reunion - and it was a perfect fit for us because it was so close to another family members home. Much better than booking a room at the Lazy B motel! We'll probably always try and get this home when we're in Afton again!

Star of the Valley

We rented this home while attending graduation, Ordination and Eagle Court of Honor for our grandson and Dance recitals for our granddaughter. We had children from 18 to 5 yrs and all enjoyed themselves and no one was under foot. The yard is just gorgeous and very quiet. We enjoyed 4 wonderful days here and will definitely be back. I Highly recommend it. It is full of character and shows a great pride of workmanship.

Great Rental

Our company was doing some work in the are and instead of getting 4 separate hotel rooms we were able to rent this house. Being able to come back to a house in the evenings makes working out of town a lot easier. Everything in the house was comfortable and clean. Even in the winter Afton is a great little town to visit!

Lovely Home

We rented this home while attending a wedding in Afton. It was spacious, clean and very comfortable. The owners were accommodating and easy to work with. The view was lovely and there were quite a lot of deer hanging out in the backyard. I highly recommend it.

A perfect place to relax and unwind!

We booked the "Star of the Valley" because we needed a break from the city. As we drove into Star Valley, we couldn't believe how beautiful it was. Coming over the mountain the aspens were bright gold. Afton is a charming little town with an old fashioned main street. The house, "Star of the Valley," was perfect. We loved the views of the mountains while having breakfast on the patio. We also enjoyed using the fire pit/grill in the back yard to roast marshmallows and make smores. The stars were brilliant without all of the lights and pollution of the city. With four bedrooms and three bathrooms, there was plenty of space for everyone. The house was a great base for hiking and other outdoor activities. It was convenient to gas and groceries but was on a very quite road across from a nice field. It was very peaceful...I can't remember the last time I had such a good sleep. We will definitely be coming back here!
