Lovely apt, perfect for what we wanted and excellent communication with owners

The apt was exactly what we were looking for, clean, everything you need and fully representative of the images you see.Really good complex and the swimming pool and the outdoor area was excellent. The Crowne Plaza hotel is next door to have a ‘local’ drink. There is a good bus service on the main road. The walk to the closest Metro station is quite far, maybe 20mins, so would recommend walking to the Crowne Plaza next door and taking a taxi for only 7 Euros. Overall we really enjoyed our time there and would 100% recommend to anyone. The owner is very good at communicating and replying to emails, which is important when you are booking online !!

Excellent!!

Great apartment in a beautiful area surrounded by green!! It was very clean, recently renovated and well furnished. Anna was a great host and gave us some great suggestions for restaurants and places to visit. We spent a great time and I'd definitely come back!!

Good apartment with pool

Overall we were very satisfied with this apartment. We had 2 adults and three teenage kids staying for one week. It's part of a large residential complex, with secure gates and plenty of car parking space should you need it (we didn't). There is a great pool - almost 20m long and not busy. The apartment was very clean and the appliances that we used worked well, including the air-conditioning which we needed. It is also very quiet. However, the wifi is not good, so do not rely on that. The apartment is quite well located. You do have to walk at least 10-15mins to get to a shop/supermarket of any significance, however we bought travel cards (CIS) for the week we were there and eventually we worked out the best routes for the buses to get to the shops. The bus stop is just outside the apartment complex and there are several buses - so we never had to wait long. To get into the cente of town you do generally need 2 bus journeys or one bus jurney plus one metro journey - is it would normally take at least 30-40mins+ to get into centre of Rome. However the travelling can be viewed as all part of the fun and Rome experience, so we didn't mind that. One bus (10min journey) does take you to within 5min walk of St Peter's Basilica (which was probably the highlight of our trip to Rome). One thing we did notice is that Italian rented properties expect you to take away your rubbish at the end of the rental (i.e. leave out in appropriate bins). We would have thought that this would hae been done by those cleaning the apartment (as in most other countires) - but apparently not! We also would have preferred to pay for the rental fully by credit card, however we paid 50% by card and 50% by cash. Not a big problem but payment by card only would have been more conveniennet for us. Anna Merita's husband kindly met us at 10.30pm - as we had a late arrival and this was no problem for an extra €20 fee, plus they threw in a free bottle of wine at the end. Overall we were very pleased with the apartment and would be happy to recommend it - especially if you are looking for a pool to cool down in!

Clean and modern flat, perfect for a family

We spent three nights in this recently renovated flat. We are à family with 3 kids (10, 10 and 6 years old) and this place was perfect for us. The bathroom is very modern and the kitchenette was VERY well equipped! There is plenty of space for clothes, there is wi-fi, and à balcony where we had dinner. Buses are close but we went by taxi mostly. The area feels safe. The owner is very helpful and flexible! I would absolutely recommend this apartment!

Peaceful getaway close to the city centre

We stayed at Anna Rita's apartment for one week in June. It was a beautiful experience. The flat was really clean and equipped with all the things one need in a home. We fully recommend this listing. Thank you Anna Rita for your hospitality

Pool was a lifesaver

Apartment was clean, as advertised, and beds were comfortable. We really wanted lodging with pool which was hard to find for family of 5. The pool was worth it - we used it every evening after a hot day of sightseeing. The owner's process of booking this property is more challenging than other vrbo properties we have stayed in, but it worked out in the end. The apartment is outside of tourist areas but buses (buy tickets from next door hotel) come frequently and we had no problem getting around with grade school aged children. Climbing to the top of Saint Peters Basilica was the touristy highlight of the week for the kids. It was a great trip to Rome.

Quiet, close to Vatican City

We stayed 2 adults and 3 kids (age 6-11) for a week in this wonderfull apartment. Anna greeted us and gave us a thorough instruction on how to get around Rome in car, by bus or metro, – very friendly, helpfull and good at English. The apartment was located in at quiet area with several fine Italian restaurants in walking distance. The bus was just outside the gates of the compound, and easy to reach the Romane attractions. The pool area was popular, yet very quiet. The apartment newly refurbished, very clean and well equiped.

Très bel appartement idéal pour une famille de 4

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour , l'appartement est spacieux et récemment rénové. La salle de bain est très belle. Il y a tout ce qu'il faut ! L'accès en bus et métro est très pratique, il y a des supermarchés juste à côté pour faire ses courses, et la piscine permet de se relaxer après une journée de visite en pleine chaleur.

Très agréable séjour à ROME

Très facile d'accès en venant de l'autoroute A12, nous sommes venus en voiture qui d'ailleurs est restées stationnée en sécurité toute la semaine sur le parking de la résidence (porte d'entrée accessible uniquement aux résidents). L'immeuble est très bien placé. Un arrêt de bus se situe juste devant la résidence. Les bus permettent un accès direct au Vatican (il faut compter 15 minutes environ) et à d'autres places dans ROME avec des changements (piazza Venezia, etc..). En prenant le Bus, il y a la possibilité de rejoindre les 1ères stations de métro (très pratique également). Nous sommes allés à pieds le premier jour (1 heure sous le soleil !) ... il faut prendre le bus. L'environnement est calme et l'appartement se situe au 3ème étage avec ascenseur. L'appartement est spacieux, idéal pour 2 ou 3 personnes (5 maxi en dormant dans la banquette convertible). Parfaitement équipé, lumineux, avec climatisation, magnifique salle de bain, balcon ... bref du haut standing. Sans oublier l'excellent accueil et la gentillesse de la propriétaire (qui parle bien français). Nota : Agréable piscine et possibilité de faire son jogging matinal grâce au grand parc (dont j'ai oublié de nom) qui se trouve à proximité de la résidence. Clean, complete appartment with swimmingpool!

Me and my mon stayed in this appartment in september for a week, and we are very satisfied with the way Anna Rita helped us with everything. The appartment is very clean and quiet and the swimming pool was clean. It was a very nice place to go home to after days of walking in Rome. The building is safe, has a receptionist and the entrances are locked up at night. Anna Rita helped us if we needed anything, she is very kind. There is a bus stop nearby and the bus goes to centre within 10/15 minutes. I can really recommend this!

We liked a lot

Hello We stay here one week begin of September. Then in Rome was so hot, almost 30 decree and centrum in Rome was so hot. That´s why it was so good when we stayed little bit away from centrum, but not too far. There were bus stop just front of recidence, which take us directly and quickly to centrum. And of course, one important thing was also that we could sleep with out any traffic noice:). Also we wanted that apartment have balcony and svimming pool, which you cant´t found in centrum apartments. Thanks for Anna Merella for everything. Regards, Maarit

Very comfortable,quiet and affordable accomodation

Despite torrential rain (nb: remember to pack a brolly next time!), we were greeted with a friendly smile and good information regarding the accomodation and local transport. The apartment was situated a little further away from the metro station and centre of Rome than we imagined but even with 3 children (14, 9 & 8 years) we walked the 3km to the Vatican one day and even further to the Colloseum the next - a long, but lovely walk on a sunny morning through the Villa Doria Pamphily. However the buses are very regular and it's easy to get to the Vatican in 15/20 minutes. You can walk easily to most places from there. The apartment is extremely comfortable, well equipped, very quiet and affordable - with the bonus of all the facilities of the hotel Crowne Plaza next door (however, the outdoor pool is not open until June and the indoor pool is in the spa at the hotel and is only for over 18yrs). We would not hesitate recommending the accomodation to anyone who doesn't mind being a little way outside the centre of Rome yet within easy access of all the sights. The kids loved Rome (particularly the food .. but go down the little back streets and stay clear of the main squares or you may get ripped off!) Thanks Anna & Christina for a very enjoyable stay.
