Makaira Mazara ist ein wunderbarer Neuzugang auf dem Nosara-Vermietungsmarkt. Das kürzlich renovierte Haus mit 3 Schlafzimmern und 2 Bädern befindet sich im begehrten J-Bereich und in unmittelbarer Nähe zum Strand. Es ist luftig und sauber und mit allen neuen Geräten, Möbeln, Armaturen, Bettwäsche und Küchenutensilien ausgestattet.

Das Makaira Mazara verfügt über Klimaanlage in den Schlafzimmern, Sat-TV, Telefon, WLAN, Waschmaschine / Trockner, Grill, Safe und Alarmanlage. Und ist eines der wenigen Häuser in Nosara mit einer Feuerstelle! Das Haus verfügt auch über einen neuen Reservewassertank, um einen kontinuierlichen Wasserfluss auch während der Hochsaison zu gewährleisten.

Genießen Sie Mahlzeiten am Pool im Freien unter der großen überdachten Terrasse, entspannen Sie am gemütlichen Kamin, in den Schaukelstühlen unter der Pergola oder in einer der bequemen Chaiselongues oder Hängematten. Zweifellos werden Sie die meiste Zeit im Freien verbringen, umgeben von wunderschön angelegten Gärten.

Haupthaus - Mit 3 Schlafzimmern und 2 Bädern bietet das Haupthaus von Makaira Mazara bequem Platz für eine Gruppe von 6 Personen. Das Hauptschlafzimmer mit einem Queensize-Bett und eigenem Bad öffnet sich zum schönen Garten und die Gäste werden wundervolle tropische Brisen genießen. Die 2 Gästezimmer (eines mit Queensize-Bett, eines mit 2 Einzelbetten) teilen sich ein Badezimmer. Alle Schlafzimmer haben A / C. Es gibt eine Frühstücksbar, oder Sie können draußen speisen.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home in Nosara. The landscaped grounds are truly stunning and create such a peaceful setting. There was plenty of space for our whole family to relax comfortably, both inside and out.The pool was a highlight and got a lot of use during our. stay. We also loved the wildlife that visited the property; it was such a treat to see monkeys, coati, and iguanas right from the house.The location is fantastic, just a short walk to the expansive beach where we tried our hand at surfing (with plenty of laughs along the way). Ending the day watching the vibrant sunsets was unforgettable.A special place for a family getaway in Nosara.

This is a beautiful property that was managed excellently by Anabelle. Outstanding communication. She helped book our transport to and from the airport and met us to check in. Very clean conditions. It was perfect for our family of seven (5 adults, 2 kids). Beautiful pool. We saw monkeys in the trees one morning. The house was close to Bodhi tree, walkable to the beach and a short trip to downtown Playa Guiones. Can’t say enough about this place.

We had a group of six and stayed for nine nights, and Makaira Mazara was truly paradise. This beautiful property provided the perfect tropical getaway, and the wonderful time we had there will remain some of our most memorable vacation moments.We took advantage of the hostess’s offer to have a meal prepared on our first night when everyone arrived, and Olendia made an absolutely delicious meal for the group. It was the perfect start to our stay and a great example of the excellent hospitality we experienced.The location is perfect, with the beach just a short walk from the house. We spent our mornings surfing and our evenings enjoying the incredible sunsets. One of our favorite experiences was having our morning coffee while listening to the howler monkeys, and we were even lucky enough to see them in one of the trees on the property. The jungle setting and wildlife made the experience feel very special.Annabelle was a great host and extremely helpful and responsive prior to our arrival, answering all our questions and warmly greeting us when we arrived. Her communication made everything easy and welcoming.We also felt very safe and comfortable throughout our entire stay, which made it easy to relax and fully enjoy the property and surrounding area.This is a beautiful, comfortable home that’s perfect for groups, and we highly recommend this amazing vacation rental. It was truly a five-star stay, and we definitely hope to return again in the future.

Absolutely incredible!

Our family stayed at this property for one week and after traveling to Costa Rica five times, this is my favorite place we have stayed. The outdoor area was phenomenal. It was it's own oasis. The beach was a short walk. The location was perfect for getting to the grocery store, shopping and restaurants. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful Place and Location!

We had a wonderful time staying at this home. It is the most beautiful and well-kept place that we have stayed at over the past 20 years in Nosara. Mike the owner was there in the guest house, super friendly and we barely noticed him but he was helpful whenever we needed something. I would highly recommend it and we will definitely come back whenever we have a group with us in Costa Rica!

What an absolutely delightful family. They were very complimentary and respectful of the house and its rules. They were excellent communicators throughout and took the extra step of cleaning and some laundry prior to their departure. Pura vida indeed!

It was our first time in CR and hopefully not our last. The house is perfectly situated near Guiones Beach, shops, Bodhi Tree, etc. On arrival, freshly caught tuna was waiting for us in the fridge (plus beer!). The clean pool was a daily afternoon treat after a long day in the sun. And Anabelle, the property manager, was highly responsive and helpful, making our stay that much more relaxing.Thanks Mike (and Anabelle) for your hospitality! Hope to be back soon.

I have been visiting Nosara for over 10 years, the last 3 years staying at this property. Location, property condition and property management are the best. The house is very clean and well maintained and the property manager Annabelle is super responsive. The location in South Guiones is quiet and very close to the beach.

Nosara vacation

Property is beautiful. 5 minute walk to beach. Pool is partly shaded and provides perfect respite from mid day heat. Kitchen is well appointed and we cooked meals in 1/2 the week. Split AC pumps in all bedrooms and main living space work great. Casita provided additional living space and privacy. Security is prioritized with night guards and alarm system. We fit two rental cars in driveway and still had room for 2 quads. We would definitely stay again. Owner and property manager ensured our stay was perfect.

Perfect Nosara Vacation House

Our group of 6 had fantastic time staying at the Makaira Mazara. Every day we would be up early, take the short walk to the beach for our morning 7:00am surf. By 10:30am we were wrapping up, grabbing a bite and one of our favourite cafés then strolling back to Makaira Mazara for relaxation during the hottest time of the day. We enjoyed lots of comfortable outdoor space that allowed our larger group to chill out in the shade by the pool, reading or watching the monkeys. On one special afternoon we had the pleasure to watch the most incredible iguana feed on the leaves of tree on the property. Everyday, around 4:30pm we would head back down to the beach for the most amazing sunset surfs. All the beds and mattresses were good - zero complaints. AC worked well. AND, very little (if any) construction noise. The local property manager, Anabelle was most helpful and responsive when needed. The owner, Michael was also a pleasure to deal with. We would definitely consider staying here again on any future trips to Nosara. Pura Vida.

Perfect location

We had a lovely stay in this beautiful home. The place was very clean and had all the amenities that one would want on a vacation. It is very well maintained and the gardeners kept the nicely landscaped yard immaculate. The air-conditioning worked well and the internet was reliable. It was very nice to have a washer and dryer. We loved hanging in the pool in the afternoon. We saw anteaters and monkeys wandering outside. The place felt very safe and secure. There was a locked gate and security alarms so we did not worry about theft. The road out front is dusty but that is the way the entire area of Nosara is. I drank the tap water but we also were given bottled water which was a nice plus as one of my daughters was unsure about drinking from the tap. Walking to Bakers beach was easy. I liked it because it is less crowded than the main beach. The ocean is lovely.It would be nice to have an umbrella because it gets very hot on the beach. There are a few restaurants near by and our favorite was Al Chile. It was nice to have a quad to get around to Bodhi Tree and downtown Giones. All in all we loved our stay.

Perfect house for Playa Guiones

Lovely house, very comfortable, with a great location. The pool area and outdoor areas were comfortable and welcoming, with many soft sofas and ceiling fans. Inside is AC if you want it. The pool was larger than we expected from the pictures. The property is very safe and secure including safe, secure doors and windows, alarm system, fencing and locked privacy gate, with a professional security guard in a booth in the evening. The property manager Anabelle was amazing. Helped us book a fishing trip, and when we had an issue during our stay, she was more than able to handle that. My suggestion is to download WhatsApp and connect with Anabelle a few days before going to Costa Rica. This will make things easy for arrival. The roads in and out of Playa Guiones are quite rough, 4WD is a must. Even then it took a few passes to get used to it. We saw many people would get transport to Nosara and when there rent quads, ATVs, or sport vehicles. That would be a great way to go also and is something I would look into for next time.

Our group of 7 had a lovely stay at Casita Makaira Mazara! The exterior of the property is absolutely beautiful and private. A perfect place to relax at any time of day! With the separate guest house, the property was very spacious and allowed our group space to spread out and enjoy. Property manager Ana was wonderful and very attentive - she always replied right away to any of our questions and requests. We highly recommend this piece of paradise and hope to stay again in the future!

Amazing stay at Makaria Mazara!! We had 2 families of 4 for a total of 8 people which fit us perfect. Location is great. We surfed every day, lots of close restaurants to choose from, property is very well managed. Ana was awesome helping us with reservations for dinner, transportation, and anything we needed during our stay. Thank you for the memories! We will be back!

Amazing house in perfect location

Three families shared this house for a week and we loved every minute of it. Most of us surfed every day and the beach was very close. We also hired the private chef to make dinners for us four nights of our stay and the food was delicious. It was so nice walking to the beach to watch the sunset and then coming home to a delicious meal served in the beautiful outdoor space. I really can't imagine anything that could improve this house, we really thought it was perfect. Annabelle the manager of the property was very helpful and really everyone that we dealt with was great. Would highly recommend and we hope to stay here again in the future.

Great house in Playa Guiones

I have traveled to Playa Guiones for over 10 years and Makaira Mazara is one of the best houses we stayed in. Both the house and surrounding grounds are very well maintained. The house is tucked in to a quiet spot that is a 5 minute walk to the beach . The house was perfect for our family and Michael and Ana were excellent.

Spring break in paradise

We had a fantastic time in Nosara, Makaira Mazara was such a beautiful paradise. The pool was pristine, the palms and flowers in the landscaping were so tranquil, the lounge deck was an oasis. The house was perfect for our family. The house and outdoor space are very well kept. It is a short distance to the beach and town. Michael and Ana were excellent to plan with and advise us. We hope to come back to Playa Guiones soon!

Beautiful Makaira Mazara

To get out of icy, anxious and stressed out New York was a treat. To end up in a beautiful place in Nosara was a blessing! Makaira Mazara is a nice property located very close to the beach. Everything is well thought and appointed with attention to detail. I enjoyed gardens as much as the house. 5 stars for sure!

Superb, private, villa close to the beach

This was our 4th trip to Nosara and the best yet. The house is great and we had plenty of room for the 5 of us. The pool, lounge, and outdoor living area is excellent and spent many mornings and evenings with the howler monkeys from the nearby preserve, in the trees around the house. Mike’s probably got got the best hammock set-up we’ve ever seen! The beach is an easy ~5 minute walk with a surf board under arm. Kitchen was extremely well equipped and the blender is killer, and highly proficient at turning lots of ice, tequila, lime and cuantro into adult slushees! We wanted a private place with easy beach access for surfing and this far exceeded our expectations.

Everything in this places works

This was my 9th time to CR. I go every year with friends from all over the world and we converge on Nosara for 10 days. We have rented many houses but never the same twice. I have realized that when staying in CR you will have water issues, electric issues, pool issues, security issues. This house has NONE of that. Everything in this house WORKS. The owner and property manager have strong communications amongst themselves and us while we were there. If any issue or concern came up it was dealt with quickly. The gentleman who cleaned the pool and the gardens was the best. He helped us find a good family to take us horseback riding and helped because one of our guests was handicapped and he found the perfect solution. We rented the house and the casita, literally displacing the owner a month before we arrived. He was very accomodating. This is a beautiful home located very close to the beach, and town if you wanted to walk there as well. The kitchen pretty much had everything. If we needed something to cook something special all you had to do is start looking in the pantry and kitchen and 9 times out of 10 you would find the tool you are looking for. I would definitely rent this home again.

Hola! It is with pleasure to find out that you are interested in Makaira Mazara. I grew up in New Jersey and now live in New York City. My background was as a Big Four consultant and then as an executive and CFO in the computer security industry. I spend four-to-five months a year down in Nosara and have come to love the area. I am an avid fisherman and think the variety and productivity of fishing in Costa Rica is unparalleled. With everything to do / see / explore in the area, the main reasons I enjoy spending time in Nosara are the people and the community. The diversity of the ex-pat community is fascinating, and the locals could not be nicer, more welcoming and friendlier. It is truly a special place!

I have put my blood, sweat and tears into the house and property. It has become a labor of love and there's nothing better than sharing my home and meeting new people. Many are shocked when they see the transformation of the house over the years. I am constantly updating, maintaining and re-investing in the property in order to ensure it is clean, comfortable, beautiful and updated with amenities that guests look for when visiting (internet, water tank, new linens, etc.). I take great pride in the house and am an active owner on-top of what's going on in the house, around the property and in the community. All with the intent to make it a special place for family, friends and guests to come down and relax as they soak in all that Nosara has to offer. Pura Vida!
