We don t provide any edible items for safety reasons. Even the 15 items in the complimentary basket are thrown out if the seal is broken. Hope you understand our perspective on this. Thanks so much. Glenda

So happy to know you enjoyed your stay. That is our teams goal. Thanks ao much for sharing. Glenda

Thanks so much for writing a positive review. I must drive faster than you since I can make it to Lake George from there in about 12 to 14 minutes, but fair enough, I know the roads pretty well around here. Haha! I hope you'll consider revisiting this cabin or maybe one of the other 8 we offer in the area. Have a great fall and holidays. Glenda

There was a leak from a dishwasher. All fixed. New dishwasher . Ceiling replaced. New back porch installed a week ago. It wasn t unsafe but old and headed in that direction. Ripped out and replaced 2 weeks ago. As for the mattresses? They re not old but some are soft and some are firm. Completely subjective. 2 stars is mean spirited. Please don t come back.

Thank you Carol for the kind words. Please do revisit soon. Glenda

Thank you so much Rebecca for the awesome review. We like to know that our guests can enjoy the cabin and surroundings without having to go elsewhere and spend more money for a good time everyday of their stay. I hope you found the indoor board games for the rainy days. We had a lot of them this summer. Since we have Hughes Net for wifi there is also ''wifi calling''. You may have not known that and I should have told you. Sounds like you liked it better that way anyway. Again, thanks so much for the kind words and I hope you'll consider revisiting really soon! Glenda

We certainly have had rain. ALOT OF RAIN. RECORD BREAKING RAIN! It does cause ants and or a mouse to go to higher ground. WE ll certainly give more attention to that. I will, for sure, tell the plumber he has DYSLEXIA! As for beds, we try to have hard and soft and in between for different folks. We ve even had a few guests move them around to their liking . Hard on housekeeping for sure. There is wifi and it comes from HUGHESNET and the smart TV runs on that as well. May have.been one of the many thunderstorms we ve had. Just not sure but is working fine now. I m happy to hear you had a fun time! Thanks for sharing. Glenda

I'm happy to read that overall you enjoyed your time there. I am definately confused about a bathroom fan. Our building and codes requires a fan when there is no window , but this bathroom has a very nice bathroom window. I don't see a need for a fan. I guess we could add one. As for the heater this guest is correct that it remained uninstalled. The maintenace guy needed to come back and retest as to why the new one didn't work . He suspected it had something to do with the thermostat and not the heater. But Golly, this guest stayed here in July! No need for heat. The maintenace guy should have taken the heater back or put it in a closet. If he had this guest probably wouldn't have noticed at all. Again, it's the middle of July!

For the most part the windows have air conditioners in them. This guest is correct about the weak spot in the downstairs bathroom floor and the pool deck. They have both been repaired. Chairs around the pool have been replaced. The summer season starts on Memorial Day weekend and this is a time when maintenance is extremely busy. They were a bit behind and I apologize. A new Lock was also installed. It is a truly rustic property. Don't quite understand that comment. It's either rustic or it's not. Total rustic decor throughout and most guests seem to really like it. I can supply a few screens since I now know . No problem at all.

Great to know you enjoyed your stay. If ever you need more towels in the future just let us know. Thank you Marty!
