5 Acres, Game Room, Grill & Fire Pit - 20 Min to Lake George, Near Gore

Five private wooded acres in the Adirondacks, with a game room, a fire pit, and room for the whole group. Close to Lake George, Gore Mountain and the Hudson River, and quiet enough that you actually hear the woods at night.

Families come here for the space. Kids disappear into the game room or onto the trails, the adults end up around the fire pit, and nobody is stepping over anybody.

The Space

Sleeping Arrangements (sleeps up to 14)

That is 10 people in standard beds. For groups of 11 to 14 we set up two queen air mattresses in the living room and supply sheets and pillows. They are good quality, but please book with this in mind if everyone in your group needs a standard bed.

A travel crib is available in Bedroom 1.

Guest Access
You have the full run of the house and all five acres, including the trails. The basement is locked and is not part of the rental.

Good to Know
For guest safety, exterior security cameras cover the driveway and the backyard. There are no cameras inside the house.

You are in the Adirondack woods, so deer, turkeys and the occasional bug come with the territory. We treat the property professionally for pests, but we cannot promise the forest stays outside.

We do not keep firewood on site, because woodpiles attract critters we would rather you did not meet. Neighbors sell bundles by the road, and Price Chopper is a few minutes away.

Mountain weather turns fast and we are not able to refund for it, so travel insurance is worth a look when you book.

Nobody lives on site, but we answer quickly if anything comes up. This is our home rather than a hotel, and we look after it carefully. Guests who do the same are always welcome back.
