Capri, Positano, Ischia, Procida, Sorrent, Amalfi, Neapel, Li Galli sind nur einige der schönsten Orte der Welt, die die Fantasie beflügelt und Dichter, Maler, Musiker, Schriftsteller usw. inspiriert haben. Das Boot ist im Hafen von Castellammare di Stabia geparkt, strategisch günstig und zentral gelegen, um auf dem Landweg auch Pompeji, Herculaneum und den Vesuv zu besuchen. Gut bedient mit allen Verkehrsmitteln: Bus und FS; Der Hafen befindet sich im Stadtzentrum, alle Annehmlichkeiten sind zu Fuß erreichbar. In der Nähe befindet sich die Seestation der Metro del Mare, die ab dem 10. Juli schnelle Verbindungen bietet nach: Neapel, Capri, Sorrent, Positano, Amalfi, Agropoli, Acciaroli, Palinuro, Marina di Camerota und anderen. Wenn Sie Heimweh nach der Kühle haben, ist das kein Problem: Auf 500 m gibt es eine Seilbahn, die Sie in wenigen Minuten mit einer spektakulären Fahrt auf den Monte Faito auf 1000 Meter über dem Meeresspiegel bringt und eine atemberaubende Aussicht bietet. Transfer-Service 50 € vom Flughafen oder Bahnhof Neapel (Hin- und Rückfahrt 100 €). Mindestaufenthalt 2 Tage 2 Personen.
Das Boot hat drei Doppelkabinen, die alle zwei Personen benutzt werden, die dritte Kabine am Bug ist für den Skipper, der Tisch im Wohnzimmer kann zu einem Doppelbett werden, es wird verfügbar sein, wenn die Gäste mehr als vier sind.
Wenn Sie an Bord sind, steht das Boot ausschließlich Ihnen zur Verfügung. Der Skipper ist nur an Bord, wenn sich das Boot außerhalb des Hafens von Castellammare befindet.

Experience of a Lifetime!

Everything about the stay with Nicola was fantastic! He was very great with communications throughout the entire process, from before we booked until the day we checked in, and even during our stay. He had recommendations on great places to eat, and his itinerary for sailing for both days we stayed with him were remarkable! Would recommend to family and friends!!!

Amazing Time

We had the absolute best time with Nicola! His boat was just as we expected. We spent 3 days sailing and he took us to excellent locations along the Amalfi coast. One of the best nights we've ever had on vacation was at his friend's restaurant. Rocco was a hoot and his food is excellent! He even sent us wine home and it made it back to the states intact! There were 5 of us including 3 young adults 19, 20, 21. We had no complaints over space. Nicola we are absolutely serious about making another trip down...just maybe not with the kids next time! We consider you a friend and look forward to seeing you again.

A fun adventure on the Italian coast

My sister and I were looking for a place to stay near Pompeii and came across this listing. It sounded so different and like a fun adventure. We're very glad we booked the boat for two nights, and Nicola took us to Capri in the boat one of the days. That is an extra cost but is well worth it. Imagine waking up on the boat and just heading out on the sea without fighting any crowds! The coastline was so beautiful on the way there, and Nicola arranged a lovely lunch reservation for us on the island. We had a few hours before going back to the dock at Castellamare di Stabia, which is a quiet little town, not touristy at all. The restaurants are good and so reasonably priced. All the locals come out at night and stroll around the park on the shoreline. Nicola was a great host, and he even took us to Pompeii the next day, which is only about 15 minutes away. The bedrooms and bathroom on the boat are small compared to a hotel or house, so just be aware that it is a different experience. But the weather was so lovely that we didn't spend much time in them. It was definitely an exciting adventure!

Really would have liked to sail on the sail boat

When we arrived to our boat after being picked up at the Naples train station by some friends of Nicola, we were informed that the motor was broken. Nicola acted like this was no big deal and was no where to be found. We spoke to him by phone a few times. We were heartbroken and furious as we wanted to sail every day of our trip. Angelo, the driver of a boat on the same dock was nice enough to take us out on his boat twice and that was so wonderful. I am very disappointed that Nicola did not inform us before arrival that we would not be able to use the boat for it's intent - sailing. Arguing with him on the phone is not my idea of a great vacation and I hope he does not do this to anyone else. We were even emailing up until the day of arrival and he didn't say anything about the boat being in disrepair.

Unfortunately in life I will never stop learning, I did not believe it was possible to start to meet people so ugly and cunning, I should understand this when making the reservation you told me that you were in four and not two as you paid. Unfortunately I am not capable of such baseness and I can not imagine that others may be so. I believe in your innocence and I agreed that the other two guests would pay on arrival. It 's true, the engine of the boat was broken, I could navigate the same, but to ensure you maximum safety I avoided doing that and I rushed to get me immediately the spare part to repair the boat as soon as possible, preferring travel for 1,000 km rather than wait three days (for this reason we did not meet). I have made sure that you could sail the same for the same price with my friend Angelo and thankfully you can not deny that you sailed two days. You left my boat in unhygienic conditions (I would have been ashamed to do this) and you also deliberately made some damage. I expected you to have had the intelligence and good taste to avoid leaving reviews not allow me to answer you but since you did not, this is my answer. Obviously, all that I say I have proof and I will take the responsibility. I inform you that I will fire against your friend (in fact you've paid) to recover what is owed to me.

Amazing experience

There were six of us that stayed on Nicola’s sailboat for three nights. The space was a bit tight for six, but we didn’t spend much time below deck. We scheduled to be sailing for two days with Nicola, and he did a wonderful job with recommendations and arrangements. We would definitely stay and sail with Nicola again, but for at least three days next time!

Fabulous, one of a kind experience ina non-touristy town

We loved our stay on Nicola’s boat. We were four in our group (2 adults and 2 kids), and the boat was very comfortable. Our kids loved the adventure of sleeping on a boat. We also took a trip down the coast with Nicola, stopping at a beach restaurant for lunch. We saw parts of the Amalfi coast that you can’t see from a car and loved our day. This is a truly unique experience! We will be back for a longer trip and a longer sail!

Absolutely Fabulous

Nicola delivered an incredible and informative trip down the Amalfi coastline over a 4 night stay. We had a wonderful time and found Nicola to be a great host and boat skipper. His knowledge of the coastline was top shelf. We would not hesitate to recommend him to any of our friends and hope to meet up with Nicola in the future as a close friendship was made by all. Great trip.

Captain Nicola was amazing. This was definitely the highlight of our trip to Italy. Three days on the boat and he went out of his way to make the visit very special. We will never forget it. If you want to see the Amalfi coast and Capri by private boat, he is your guy. Knows everyone and speaks great English. Can’t thank you enough Nicola for a wonderful cruise. Can’t wait to return. Hope you enjoyed the Kentucky Bourbon and the cigars.

Absolutely wonderful!

This was our second time sailing with Captain Nicola.That should tell you everything. We enjoyed our first trip so much we returned, this time bringing our 16 year old granddaughter with us. His new boat is comfortable and more spacious than the last, we had a great time sailing and swimming, Nicola is fun and interesting to talk with, all in all a perfect two days.

Best relaxing holiday, being rocked gently to sleep at night, taking in the stunning views each day.

This was the best part of our entire 3 week trip. Loved every minute of it. Nicola was very accomodating and showed us around the town including where to eat out and get supplies, and how to get around. He gave us a tour of the boat and took us out sailing one day, and we swam off the back of the boat - amazing. Castellamare di Stabia is only a 20 min train ride to busy Sorrento, and the boat is walking distance to the train. The food at Castellamare di Stabia is terrific and the locals really helpful. The port is very safe, we never had any concerns. Nicola also provided transfer to and from Naples airport which was a big help. We thoroughly enjoyed our time and would highly recommend this to others. Nicola's boat is wonderful, it has everything you need, and is most comfortable. I especially love being rocked to sleep each night and drinking Prosecco off the back of the boat each evening watching the sun go down. Thank you for a wonderful time Nicola. Hope to see you again soon. xx

Wonderful experience with Captain Nicola on his immaculately kept boat. A must do for every traveler

The boat is moored in the quiet port of Castellammare di Stabia. Hardly any other tourists in this authentic Italian town. Captain Nicola was the ultimate host. His boat is imaccularely kept with everything and more you could need. Going out to sea with him was an experience to never forget. A wonderful man with a love for people, the area and the sea. My family and I can not wait to join him again, hopefully soon.

Three delightful nights on board the Kala Nag

Our time on the Kala Nag, docked in the historic (non-touristic) port of Castellammare di Stabia, was a refreshing break from hotels and B&B's. Nicola greeted us at the train station, gave us a quick driving tour of places we would need to know to make our stay comfortable (...like the best pizza we ate in 2 weeks!), and introduced us to our "quarters." Then, the boat was ours, and he only appeared as agreed to take us out on excursion. There is no crime in the town, and the dock employs a 24 hour watchman. Living on a boat is tight quarters, but beyond that, it could not have been more comfortable. Everything from bedding to kitchen to bathroom, to spacious table area is in tip top shape and immaculately clean. The care that Nicola takes of his boat is to be admired, yet he was relaxed about us making ourselves at home, once we knew the "ground rules." Everything we needed, including the train station, was an easy walk from the boat. We traveled one day by train (20 minutes) to Pompei. Sorrento is also within short train ride. One day, weather permitting, we scheduled a trip to the isle of Capri. Nicola is a skilled, experienced, knowledgeable captain and an interesting, caring, and fun person. His interest in our stories was genuine, and we thoroughly enjoyed hearing his. We learned much about the shoreline and its history. We have only one regret, and even that was not the fault of Nicola. We were passionately looking forward to sailing, but the day we left harbor, the entire trip was motor. The wind was not strong enough to sail. Because we had failed to ask questions, we left thinking any minute the sails would go up. A huge let-down, but totally our fault. Nicola is trustworthy and honest...and his English is great. A simple conversation would have avoided the misunderstanding. We highly recommend a stay on the Kala Nag. The entire three days was a delight.

I'm sorry I gave you a little disappointment, i love to satisfy all my guest request. Unfortunately i can't control wind and weather but If you would have told me that you preferred to use the sails I would have tried to settle, but certainly we would not be able to go to Capri. I prefer to point out for the benefit of future guests, on a sailboat, if you are not lucky enough to find the right wind (rare) must choose whether to sail or reach the goal with the required times. Next time you come we will sail without decide where to go or when to arrive and we will have a lot of fun

Can I just stay on the boat forever?

We wanted to do something special on this trip to Italy since we'd be celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary while there. Well, we could not have found anything more perfect than the Kala Nag and our new friend, Captain Nicola. I'm the daughter of a sea captain and grew up sailing, so I knew what to look for as we boarded. The boat is impeccable and well-maintained. The sleeping and living quarters are more than comfortable and the kitchen has everything you might need. If you just want somewhere to stay while you tour the area, this is a great choice. BUT I HIGHLY recommend that you take the opportunity to sail with Captain Nicola! I can't say enough about what a great trip, and what a great time we had. Nicola is friendly, professional, skilled and knowledgeable about his part of the country, which he obviously loves. He took us to all the good swimming spots, pointed out sights of special interest, told me recipes, and took us to his favorite restaurant. (And he didn't laugh when my husband managed to fall overboard while swimming. I did though.) And for two Canadians, who are accustomed to swimming in frigid lakes and rivers (a typical Canadian summer conversation is, "How's the water?" "It's okay, once you get in!") swimming in the Mediterranean was the dream of a lifetime. We will definitely include a few days with Captain Nicola on our next trip to Italy!

Vacances de rêve.

Un grand bravo à Nicola pour ses compétences, son souci de la sécurité, son esprit d'initiative. La côte est stupéfiante de beauté, parfois difficile d'accès la première quinzaine du mois d'août, mais grâce à ses connaissances, nous avons toujours trouvé une solution. Notre séjour a donc été merveilleux, en associant nature, culture, navigation (beaucoup de moteur dans notre cas), marche et visite de sites. Le "captain" est un vrai connaisseur de la côte, toujours de bon conseil. Le voilier est adapté pour quatre personnes plus le skipper. En résumé : 10/10.

Had a wonderful time!

My husband and I had a wonderful time with Captain Nicola. We arrived and were greeted by some guys at the dock who we later learned worked there and at first I was nervous because I didn't know them and they were offering to take my luggage but actually they were friends of Nicola and they lead us to his boat. After a brief explanation of the systems on the boat we set sail for Capri and chatted with Nicola along the way about the sights and got to know him. He was a lovely host and he had many suggestions for us of places to go and see along the way. Our night in Capri was a little uncomfortable because the weather was SO HOT and there is not AC on the boat but the next morning we told Nicola about the heat and he got out a large fan for us which made the next few nights on the boat very comfortable. This was an absolutely beautiful vacation and I can't express how grateful we were to Captain Nicola for setting us up with great places to eat and beautiful sights. (If you get the chance, GO TO CAPRI!) My husband and I are already hoping to go back for another trip.
