Das Narrows befindet sich im Dorf Leelanau und besteht aus einem gemĂŒtlichen Cottage mit 2 Schlafzimmern und einem Haupthaus mit einem Bungalow mit 2 Schlafzimmern sowie einem modernen Loft, der komplett restauriert und modernisiert wurde. Die Unterkunft bietet eine direkte Wasserfront an den Engen des Leelanau-Sees, ein Pontonboot, ein Fischerboot, Stand-up-Paddle-Boards und einen Kajak- / Kanuverleih. Ebenfalls erhĂ€ltlich sind SchiffstreibstoffverkĂ€ufe, Bootsrutsche, eine öffentliche MarkteinfĂŒhrung, Eis und all unsere fantastischen Waren. This property was adequate and in a lovely spot.Unfortunately, the oven did not work, which limited our cooking meals there.Also, we had an elderly parent with us, and the steps into cottage had no railing.The cottage would also benefit from extra blankets for the cooler weather.

Such a great stay! Very peaceful and super central on the Leelenau Peninsula so that you can easily visit all the cute towns. A lovely house, very cute. If you plan to work remotely, please note that the WiFi in the cottage wasn’t able to handle video calls, so we needed to use our hotspot from our phones instead.

Great stay!

We enjoyed our stay very much. The property was clean and cozy and easy to find. The location is great and within walking distance to many places - a big reason we choose the property. The fire pit was excellent and well stocked with wood.

Treasured time together

Treasured time with friends in a cozy cottage, enjoyed calmness by the water and walks to store and restaurant. We even enjoyed a night by the fire. A wonderful time just wish we could have stayed longer!

Adult retreat

Great place to stay. Accommodations were clean and well kept. Very quiet and private. Owners were on site and very respectful of our privacy. Across the water from the site is a wildlife sanctuary and you see lots of the wildlife it was very enjoyable. Also the location was centrally located to everything on Lake Leelanau and the northeastern side of Lake Michigan.

Great Place/Awesome Location

My family of four (plus one small dog) loved this place! The location was ideal for us traveling to the Dunes, Glen Arbor, Traverse City and more! The place was big enough for the four of us and very clean. The town was super cute and you could walk to various restaurants to eat, coffee shop and grocery store. My kids loved that there was an ice cream place literally next door. We had a great time!

Sleeping Bear Vacation

Stayed in the loft for a week. Plenty of room for my husband and myself. Loft was very clean and had everything we needed. There is no oven but has a microwave and a two burner stove. This was fine for us. Pretty scenery from our deck and was able to sit and watch the boats go by in the narrows. The staff at the little marina was very helpful and answered all our questions. Rented a pontoon boat for 2 days and was able to fish and enjoy the lake. The village of Leelanau is small and quiet but centrally located between Sleeping Bear Dunes Park and Traverse City. Never drove more than 30 minutes to anywhere we wanted to go. Did lots of hiking and some bike riding at Sleeping Bears Dune Park very beautiful. Bike trails are in good condition and mostly paved. Hilary the owner was very nice and easy to work with. He met us when we got there and explained everything to us. We usually saw him at least once a day out by the marina. Would stay in the loft again.

We loved our stay - the property was right now the narrows with a large yard for the kids to run around. A lot of great places within walking distance for when you are not on the water. We would definitely consider staying here again!

Perfect location

We traveled as grandparents with three children 9 and under. The location was perfect. The kids loved having the large property to run around and play. Their favorite was fishing off the dock and walking to get ice cream every day. Sleeping was sufficient for the five of us. We did not need to try out the AC as it was a little chilly. One thing we missed was a washer and dryer. A small suggestion would be for somewhere to hang out wet towels to dry. Thank you Hilary!

Perfect location! Beautiful place to stay!

This property was a perfect get away for the weekend! So many amenities and great communication with the owners! The cottage is less than 10 min from downtown Leland and perfect for a nice getaway! Everything was clean and ready for guests! I will definitely be back!
