Great location!

Our stay was not the sunshine vacation that I was hoping for. Instead, our time there was a bit dreary, weather wise. The house itself was perfectly adequate but, the location to shops and restaurants was fabulous. Easy walk to food, drink and stores.

House is every bit as nice as described! It is very convenient to walk or bike to beach and restaurants. We have 3 generations & all enjoyed the stay! The only problem: for some reason VRBO did not allow the refundable deposit to be electronically credited so I'm still waiting on check from owner; otherwise all was great.

Amazing location and owner is on top of everything!!!

The home is nice and offers nice space for us. Kitchen had everything except mood machine :) Bedrooms are as described and comfortable. The pool is a great size for Siesta Key. Many extra things in garage for enjoying outside!! Any bumps and the owner was on it!!!

Perfect Location in a Clean Home

This home was in the best location because we could walk to Siesta Village and enjoy its shopping and restaurants. The pool and lanai at the home allowed us a place to relax, cool off, or enjoy the Florida sun. The kitchen, bathrooms, and bedrooms accommodated our group very well. Wifi and tv were in perfect working condition. The only thing that caused a little discomfort was the seating in the family room.

Thank-you for your review Theresa. The couch is from Restoration Hardware and is a deep seated leather couch which I understand may not be everybody's cup of tea. I have also had guests who absolutely loved it and offered to buy it. It is a matter of personal taste but please note it is a very high quality couch. I will buy more pillows to allow guest to sit more upright when they so wish. Lynn

Fabulous location

We are a family of 4, Mum, Dad and 2 teenagers and the house worked for us perfectly. There was everything we needed for our stay, including all beach equipment, WiFi, Netflix, etc. The location is superb, close to shops, restaurants and the beach but in a lovely quiet side road. Our favourite bit was the pool, we loved hanging out there! Didn’t get much luck seeing wildlife in the canal (although we were there at the hottest time of the year) but we were excited by the geckos (not seen in the uk) 🤗. The instructions for the house are all clearly detailed in the folder which was very helpful. Great communications from Tim, even when I just needed to read the folder to get the answer!!! Great time, thoroughly recommend the house and the area. Thanks Tim

Loved the Pool

Loved the pool, property is a bit dated, but that's understandable with a lot of older rentals. What needs to definitely be replaced is the queen mattress on the main floor's bedroom. We did not sleep in the master bdrm, as there was a spiral staircase made of metal and we were afraid we might injure ourselves since we are an older couple. But the queen mattress was like sleeping on a plywood board. Hopefully that will get updated. Otherwise, mgmt company responded very quickly to a few minor fixes. Would definitely rent again, if the mattress is replaced. Pool was great!

PERFECTION!

In terms of everything you would want in a rental, this is absolutely perfect. The house itself has been completely redone inside after the two hurricanes that hit Sarasota last year. Every article of furniture, every appliance in the kitchen, have been replaced with the highest quality, and this includes resurfacing the pool and a new pool heater. The rooms are of ample size, each with a TV, and the space is well-suited to a family, of 7, as was ours. Best of all, the house is a five minute walk to Siesta Village, with multiple restaurants and shops, and a large supermarket, and the beach, often voted the best beach in the US, is a ten minute walk away. Best of all, the owner, Tim, is always available and ready to provide whatever is necessary to make sure that your vacation is a perfect one. I recommend this lovely home without reservation, and this incudes the cost, which is one of the best deals on Siesta Key. My recommendation: if your dates are available, grab it before someone else inevitably does.

Fantastic Location on Siesta Key!

We enjoyed a beautiful two week stay at this well-situated home on Siesta Key! The location is just right for walking in to the village for drinks, dinner, ice cream, sight-seeing, and shopping ... also a short walk to the gorgeous Siesta Key Beach! Even though you are so close to town, the home is on a quiet street and feels very private, which is so nice when you want to relax and get away from the bustle of the village. Inside the home you'll find four very neat bedrooms and three full bathrooms which were perfect for our group of adults and small children. The kitchen is well equipped with every gadget you'd need to prep dinner or snacks ~ but it's so fun to walk in to town and experience the many great restaurants! The screened in lanai just off the pool area is lovely to relax and read your book when you want to get out of the sun ... and the built-in pool was the MOST entertaining, especially for our three toddler grandkids who giggled and splashed in it every day. We also enjoyed watching the local wildlife just off the pool deck ... gorgeous herons and egrets waited for their dinner while the fish jumped - so fun to see! This location on Siesta Key is great for all ages, and our family would highly recommend it ~ we will be back for sure!!

Poorly Functioning AC

We spent the entire week struggling to cool the house during the day. Even after two attempts from a company to fix the unit it remained 75F during the day time. Our toddler’s room during naps was at 78F. The owner never even offered to compensate our time and energy on this matter not to mention the uncomfortable heat in the house during the day. This made for such a frustrating experience. We also bought a foam topper for the bed in the room that leads to pool. The bed was extremely hard. Left it in the closet for the next guests to use. The issue with the couch is that it sits back very far in. It’s wider than a daybed. This house has so much potential but in need of work.

Guest assertion on the air conditioning is incorrect. The A.C. unit is new. Installed in 2021 and the tech timely went to the property to check on the cooling where I was assured all was working correctly including the vents blowing out cool air and each bedroom was cool including the home itself. Moreover, the Nest temperature readings and monitoring system completely contradict the guest's assertion. No guests prior to and post this guest had any issues with the air conditioning. Unfortunately, this particular guest tried to take advantage of the flexibility offered to him over the last 3 years where his multiple reservation changes were consistently accommodated. Never once did this guest call to discuss his concerns:( His review of the property is completely contrary to all other guests' reviews.

Don’t overlook this Siesta house!!

I stayed for 3 weeks with my adult children, and I found this home ideal. We’ve gone to Siesta Key for three years, and this house is perfectly situated. It’s on a quiet, deadend street, so it avoids nighttime noise. The landscaping is gorgeous, and all parking is in the shade! It’s one block from ice cream, pizza, sushi and breakfast. Ten minute walk to the lovely Beach Access 2. Anything one might need for the beach is here. Private pool is right on the canal, and blue and white herons come to fish from the little dock. The four bedrooms and three baths accommodate everyone. Owner is very responsive. A little paradise.

Fantastic House

We had such a wonderful time in this house. The village is right up the street, the beaches are close by too, the garage is packed with bicycles, the kids spent hours and hours in the heated pool, the lanai is fantastic for chilling, and on and on. Everything we could have needed for a 2 week stay over the holidays was here. We'll definitely look to stay again.

perfect location

we had a great stay in siesta key. right in middle of village and ten minute walk to beach. home was very clean and comfortable. pool and out door shower were nice compliment. definitely needed if staying for the week. beach is great but if no pool you really can’t hang outside too long. already planning a repeat stay…..

Close to everything!!

We had a wonderful stay at the property. Having never been to Siesta Key, we hoped the map was accurate to how convenient it appeared and it was even better than we hoped! We traveled with a 1, 3, and grandparents and the walk to the beach, market, and restaurants were so easy. The house itself is perfect for staying in, or using as a hub to get around. It is stocked with anything you'd need for the beach at any age, and felt very clean. We all talked about making it an annual trip. Thank you, Timothy! :o)

Our Stay in Siesta Key was nothing short of amazing. We had great time getting away and spending quality time together. The home was a wonderful fit for our family and we truly enjoyed every moment.

Christmas Retreat

Great house in a quiet neighborhood close to Siesta Key Village with shopping & restaurants within a very short walk. Local grocery store too. Beautiful beach is a short 10 minute walk. House was very clean with nice furniture & had everything you needed. Great screened in patio & pool area was great!! Will be back!!

Thanksgiving Family Vacation

The house is just steps away from the Village and just a few minutes from the beach. The pool and canal setting made our week very relaxing and stress free. My 12 and 16 year old loved the pool and having their own bedroom and bath. Lots of extra towels and bedding. Kitchen was stocked with all items. We love siesta Key and would definitely recommend staying at this location. The house was very clean and everything we expected. Thanks Tim for a great week.
