Eleutherìa: Cozy Cottage in the heart of Tuscany

Eleutherìa is a recently refurbished cottage, located on the top of the hill surrounded by the stunning Tuscan countryside. It is right in the middle of trekking tracks crossing centuries-old woods and wild nature, those who walk along can feel nature and discover to belong to it.. Offering a 75 sqm (800 sqft) area with patio overlooking the garden to unwind your senses. Just about 18 Km (11 Mi) from the medieval city of Siena, it’s a strategic location to the major Tuscan’s attractions.
Eleutherìa (in ancient Greek “freedom”) is the story of my path toward freedom and, alike in ancient Greek and Roman societies, free was the individual who enjoyed civil rights. Regaining possession of myself and my life was the starting point for wanting to share this freedom with others.

As a passion and hobby, I regularly organize trekking trips (free of charge) for individual or larger groups, at times focused on mushroom and herbs gathering with Siena’s province and just nearby. Eleutherìa has a vegetable garden I take care of, usually yielding more seasonal vegetables and salad that I can consume, and I am happy to get some “help” with the crop. The large garden also has a century-old chestnut tree where you can relax in its shade or inside its trunk reading a delightful book.

The cottage is made of stone with thick walls, which has been properly insulated during the last renovation keeping it cool in summers and warm in winters. In winters, additional to electric heat pumps, it is Eleutherìa equipped with two wood stoves for a romantic and cozy atmosphere. WiFi is available both inside the flat and on the outside. It is equipped with an induction hob, microwave oven, espresso coffee maker, toaster, kettle, small refrigerator, and everything needed for a restful and pleasant stay. Your pets are welcome prior to arrangement. Please note non-smoking apartment. One parking space available next to the house and more private parking spaces available at 150 meters.
