Das Hotel liegt im Herzen von Pacific Beach, nur drei Blocks vom Ufer und dem Crystal Pier in San Diego, Kalifornien, entfernt. Happynest ist ein zweites Zuhause, wo Erinnerungen gebaut werden ein Leben lang zu schätzen.

Der Name kommt von der privaten Dachterrasse NEST und der allgemeinen HAPPY-Stimmung, in der sich jeder befindet, wenn er die Wohnung am Strand besucht.

Das komplett renovierte, 1400 m² große HappyNest verfügt über drei Schlafzimmer und zweieinhalb Badezimmer, in denen bis zu 7 Erwachsene und 1 Baby schlafen können. Eine schöne Kombination aus Travertin und Walnussböden beruhigt Ihre Allergien und stimmt Sie auf einen erholsamen Urlaub ein. Das HappyNest verfügt über eine voll ausgestattete Küche, einen Gasgrill, einen Essbereich sowie einen geräumigen Wohnbereich und eine private Dachterrasse mit jeweils einem Gaskamin. Die Küche ist komplett ausgestattet mit Granit-Arbeitsplatten, einem großen Kühlschrank, Gasherd / Ofen, Mikrowelle, Töpfen / Pfannen, Geschirr / Gläsern / Besteck, Koch- / Grillutensilien und einer Weinbar. Vorratskammer und Kühlschrank sind kostenlos zu benutzen.

Mit unseren kostenlosen Kinderbetten, Hochstühlen und Babygattern können Sie ganz einfach mit Ihren Kindern reisen. Full Size Waschmaschine und Trockner befinden sich im zweiten Stock der Wohnung.

WLAN und Netflix sind inbegriffen. Strandspielzeug für Ihren Genuss wird in der Garage aufbewahrt. Parkplatz befindet sich auf der Rückseite des Gebäudes. Sorry, keine Haustiere erlaubt.

Wenn Sie im HappyNest übernachten, können Sie Ihre Sorgen hinter sich lassen. Einschließlich Ihres Autos! Endlose Strandaktivitäten wie Surfen, Boogie-Boarding, Inlineskating, Segeln, Paddle-Boarding, Rudern, Surfen, Kite-Surfen, Angeln, Schnorcheln, Tauchen, Radfahren, Leute zu beobachten, (und wenn Sie wirklich abenteuerlich ... Jet-Pack Mieten!). Sprouts Grocery, Trader Joe's und unzählige Restaurants und Bars sind nur wenige Schritte von der Tür entfernt. Das ist wirklich der perfekte Ort für den Urlaub.

Stellen Sie sich den Tag am Strand lauschen Sie den Klängen der Wellen zu verbringen Absturz an der Küste, der Gesang der Möwen oder sogar weg den Tag surfen. Dann machen Sie eine Pause zum Abendessen im JRDN, während Sie den Sonnenuntergang beobachten. Gehen zurück ein berühmten Baked Bär Eis-Sandwich mit dem Happynest durch Garnet Avenue und packt und schließlich das NEST Erreichen das tägliche Sommerfeuerwerk vom Dach mit einem Glas Wein oder einem eiskalten Getränke zu genießen. Das ist normal, das tägliche Leben im Happynest! :)

Great home base for San Diego vacation

Our family chose this home to spend Christmas together. House was well equipped with lots of space for our family of 6. It is located in a residential area just off the main business street in Pacific Beach. An easy walk to the beach (you can see the water from the rooftop seating area). Plenty of restaurants within walking distance and even groceries a block away. We also loved that we could walk to Mass for Christmas. Easy drive to anywhere in San Diego. Communication with hosts was easy. A nice surprise - you can see the Sea World fireworks from the roof every evening.

Wonderful location

We were five students living together in HappyNest and it worked out perfectly, even though the bedroom next to the living room didn't have a door attached. The condo was spacious, clean and well functioning, and the rooftop patio featured some great views over Pacific Beach. It was also convenient having our own parking space outside, as well as a garage storage. However, the best thing was definitely the location, with everything you need situated within few minutes by foot. Would easily recommend this place!

The best of "The Nest"

Stayed for a month at this wonderful townhouse in a great location in Pacific Beach, CA. Working with the owners was seamless and they were very responsive to our requests. They even bought and installed a Roku so that we could have more selection of TV channels and streaming services. The property has its own parking space which is a bonus in this area as parking is at a premium. The property itself was well provisioned for a lengthy stay and having access to bicycles was a bonus. This unit is well positioned for a family with children although it was just the two of us staying there for the month. In conclusion we would highly recommend this property for its setup and proximity to the beach, shopping, and numerous restaurants as well as having great owners to work with 👍

Perfect location, comfortable place

I spent 6 weeks here with two other roommates for 5 weeks during a summer course and then a final week with my preschool aged boys, my husband and my father. My roommates and I loved the location - the house is so close to the beach and all the restaurants and life in Pacific Beach. We also had the ability to remain private when we needed to study because of the three story layout. When my family came, it was fantastic for the boys to play in the ocean and just walk back to the house, hose off at the garage and then get dressed to do something else. It was so easy! I personally stayed in the lower room for the first 5 weeks and the upper room for the final one. The house was remarkably quiet at night for such a hopping area, contrary to what some other reviewers said. I am from a major city, and San Diego is a major city, so I expect some noise. I loved running along the beach and up through La Jolla, leaving right from the front door. There’s a few shops right off the street this condo is on and next to the beach to rent surfboards, so you can easily partake in the gentle, friendly surfing here. The owners were extremely responsive to all our needs. When a toilet started running, I messaged the owners and they came over within an hour and had it fixed right away. If my family were to stay in Pacific Beach again, we definitely would stay here!

Fantastic experience

We were four students from Norway living here for 5 months and we really enjoyed our stay. The place is fantastic located with 5 minutes walking distance to the beach, and right next to the main street with all the restaurants and bars (Garnet). The house is in good condition with a nice layout, and comfortable rooms. The best part about the house is definitely the roof top terrace, where we enjoyed several hours during our stay. Jennifer and Stefano are fantastic hosts and live right nearby which is very convenient if there should be any problems with the house. They are also super friendly and helpful if you need any assistance during your stay. I would really recommend this listing to everyone!

Lovely place near the beach and the heart of Pacific Beach

We stayed there for 4 months and it was a lovely place to stay. Jennifer and Stefano was very friendly and took care of anything in the house. There was various of space for us six people who stayed there and it was a wonderful home. They came with supplies when there was need for it and took care of anything. There was also bikes available for the whole stay. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who wants to stay near the beach and close to the bars and restaurant.

Amazing condo close to Pacific beach

We had 6 wonderful months in this condo. We were 5 girls studying abroad for one semester and this apartment was perfect. Quiet area but at the same time you have bars, restaurants and shops just meters away from the condo. We had one of the best apartments among the students and the neighbours were so kind. Pacific beach is a short walk from the condo, just a few blocks. If you walk straight to Pacific beach and then take a right you have mission beach were the Universities are having their surfing lessons. Pacific beach is also a good surfing area and also a nice beach just to relax or if you want to play volleyball. The condo had bicycles available and we had so many beautiful biking trips to Mission bay. Perfect for nice walks, jogging, longboarding, roller skaters and more. There are also many good resturants in the area. Mission beach which is the neighbour beach also had many good lunch places. Jennifer and Stefano was so helpful and went by if we had any problems. The washing machine was a little different from the ones in Norway but Jennifer came by just to show us how to use it. If we had any questions we contacted them and they were happy to help. The condo also had everything we needed from kitchen tools to bed sheets. Beach towels was available, detergent, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap, cofee, tea and more. Overfall we had a fantastic stay and I would love to stay in this apartment again!

Amazing long-term stay

My family and I stayed at Happy Nest for the entire month of July, 2016. The trip was a combination of work and play for me and all play for my wife and two kids (10 and 12). I was looking for a place that would provide a good work-environment as well as a well-located (beach, restaurants, etc.), comfortable, fun space for our family and we got it all. We felt like we were really at a home away from home, which I have rarely experienced during my many years of travel around the world. HappyNest is a newly remodeled, roomy condo that really has it all, including a private rooftop patio, fireplaces (on rooftop too), full kitchen, barbeque, central living area, full size washer and dryer, wireless internet, Netflix, private parking space and they even had boogie boards and chairs for the beach. Despite the busy surrounding area, Happy Nest is a quiet environment where you feel that you stepped away from lively Pacific Beach atmosphere, but are still you are only a block to all of the activity on Garnett and three blocks from the beach and Crystal Pier. Thus it fits both a semi-reclusive lifestyle (we spent entire days lounging around the townhouse) and a full-on touristy experience (bars, restaurants, bicycling, beach, etc.). The location is very well situated between downtown San Diego and the great towns up the coast with easy access to Ocean Beach, Mission Beach, La Jolla, Del Mar, etc. Jennifer and Stefano were great hosts and helped make the entire experience wonderful and full of life-long memories. Good location

Generally this was a good rental for us with everything in the condo in good working condition. Close enough to the ocean which is about a five (5) block walk, many different restaurants and a grocery store within a block. We were out everyday walking or touring around San Diego. Bus service is just out the door, downtown San Diego about a ½ hour ride. We were five adults, the single adult slept in the bottom bunk bed which was fine. We do not think the unit is equipped to accommodate any more than five (5) adults comfortably. The few negative things we encountered were: no a/c or ceiling fans and poor (slow) Internet service which locked up watching the only thing on the television “Netflix” (make sure you have data on your devise). We kept the windows opened to dissipate some of the heat, but the trade off was a lot of noise at night from the young people partying, the noise did diminish sometime after midnight. The lighting in the dining area could be improved, maybe LED bulbs?

Great rental and location

We stayed at the condo for 5 nights in August while visiting the area. It was me and my husband, plus over the weekend one other friend (adult). The two masters were wonderful for our needs, but we could also see a family using the space very well. We loved the location (walking distance to Pacific Beach) and the layout of the condo. Plus everything was very clean including the washer and dryer, which we were very happy to see after an extended road trip! The location in general was very convenient for all the activities and family time we had planned for our visit, and it was a bonus to be able to walk to the beach. We have already recommended this rental to friends and will certainly look to stay here again next time we are visiting San Diego.

San Diego Vacation

Air Conditioning would have been nice, it was very hot. Had all windows open and fans going. The wind kept blowing the blinds and they clanked. Very noisy. Regular TV stations to follow the news in the world would have been nice. Only Netflix was available. There was no TV in the upstairs bedroom, only the Living room area. Which was small also. The outside area upstairs was very deceiving from the picture we saw online. The furniture and cushions did not look appealing and the area was very small.

Very nice rental.

We found the condo to be very nice and the owners very accommodating and easy to work with. It is located near grocery stores, many restaurants and a reasonably short walk to the beach with our 3 and 4.75 year olds. A number of yummy and unique restaurants surrounded us. We were able to use a car service from the airport and have a good visit without having to rent a car. The only surprise was that the area is geared toward college age kids so it was fairly raucous outside at night. Some ear plugs fixed that! It was a bonus to watch the impressive fireworks from sea world every night from the rooftop deck. We enjoyed our stay.

I would like to say it was unexpected excellent. House clean an comfortable with all facilities. Location very close to the beach, all restaurants and Seaworld. Owner Jennifer so helpful and great. I strongly recommend this house to stay in San Diego.

Wonderful Stay

We spent 6 nights at the condo in June and it was wonderful. We have rented from VRBO many times and have never had all the basics provided. It was nice not to have to run out and get toilet paper, dish soap and shampoo the day you arrive. The location was very good. We were able to walk to the beach, restaurants and stores. The only negative and this was only because we had our three teenagers with us was that the WIFI was not the best. Didn't bother my husband and I at all in fact we kind of liked it!!!!!! I would recommend this condo to friends and family.

Another wonderful stay.

Perfect location and great setup for our two kids. It was nice not having to bring cribs or high chair. Check out the preferred restaurant list, you will not be disappointed.

A home away from home vacation!

Perfect Vacation Spot!

The Happy Nest is in the perfect location. Within a short walking distance to mission beach. Everything you could need is within a few blocks. (Groceries, restaurants, the beach). The owners were great to work with and prompt in answering any questions we had. When we discovered one of their bikes had a flat they brought a replacement within the hour. The whole experience of staying at the Happy Nest was a positive for us. This was one of the best vacations our family of 7 ( 2 adults 5 children ages 3-14) has had in a long time. No hesitations. . . We will stay here again!

Pacific Beach is the best beach neighborhood. It is less expensive and more dynamic than La Jolla and much more fun and beautiful than Mission Beach. It is centrally located and very close to Sail Bay, so close that we include it in our daily evening walk. PB is very vibrant, with endless restaurants and bar and a stimulant night life. All the main San Diego attractions are within short distance, and there is always something interesting to do for every age group.
