Willkommen im Moose Manor Bar Harbor. Dies ist unsere Heimat, und wir würden es gerne mit Ihnen teilen! Gelegen auf dem Federal Street, ist Moose Manor ein 1904 New England-Stil Haus mit allen Upgrades und Annehmlichkeiten des modernen Lebens. voll ausgestattete Designer-Küche und eine komplett aktualisiert Bad Frisch überall mit exquisiten, lackiert. Alle Komfort von zu Hause in einer perfekten Lage, alles zu Fuß erreichen.

Es gibt 3 Schlafzimmer, die bequem schlafen 6. Ein Schlafzimmer hat ein Doppelbett, das zweite hat eine volle und zwei Einzelbetten und das dritte hat einen Zwilling. Es gibt ein Badezimmer (mit einem wunderbaren Klauenfüßen Wanne!) in der zweiten Etage. In jedem Schlafzimmer Wandspiegel, um die Nachfrage für Badezimmerspiegel zu reduzieren. Schlafzimmer enthält ein Schminktisch mit Licht / Spiegel. Alle Zimmer verfügen über viel Sonne und Meeresbrise.

Die vor dem Haus verfügt über eine herrliche geschlossene Veranda mit einem Bistro-Tisch / Stühle, Rocker und Futon. Perfekt für Kaffee am Morgen oder ein Nickerchen am Nachmittag. Der weiche Klang der lokalen Möwen ist oft vorhanden.

In der Rückseite des Hauses, gleich neben der Küche, gibt es einen kleinen Holzdeck mit einem Weber Grill finden und den Vorsitz in der kühlen Nachmittag Brise zu genießen, während Ihr Steak grillen ist.

Die Küche hat alles, was Sie brauchen, wenn Sie sich für einige Ihrer eigenen Mahlzeiten während Ihres Aufenthaltes vorzubereiten, darunter auch einige grundlegende Speisekammer Artikel für Ihren Einsatz finden. Top-of-the-line-Kleingeräte (einschließlich Bunn Kaffeemaschine!) sind ebenfalls vorhanden. Andere Artikel sind belgischen Waffeleisen, 4 Scheiben Cuisinart Toaster, Mixer, Lebensmittel-Prozessor, Crock Pot, Töpfe / Pfannen und backen-ware sowie eine übergroße Hummerfangkorb zum Kochen Ihr eigenes "fangen" wie zu Hause! Einfache Anweisungen.

Obwohl Sie wahrscheinlich alle raus und genießen werden möchten, die Bar Harbor und Acadia National Park zu bieten hat, ist das Haus auch mit "Regentag Artikel 'geliefert werden, sollten Sie zu Hause zu bleiben wählen. 32 "LCD-TV, DVD-Player, iPod-Dock / Radio, und eine große Auswahl an Bücher, DVDs und Spiele sind für Ihren Genuss.

A wonderful house, exceptionally clean and organized. The house location is perfect distance to Bar Harbor marina, food and drinks, shopping etc… Driveway parks 2 vehicles and with it being only a 5 minute drive to Acadia was a huge plus. Highly recommend, the location made our stay our #1 trip !! 5- all the way!!

Moose Manor was the perfect home base for our family to explore Acadia National Park. The home was immaculate, comfortable and had everything we needed. Great Spot Close to Everything

We had a family of 5 stay the week of July 4th. The house is very close to downtown. The best part is the parking, which we did not appreciate prior to booking. The area was very crowded and parking was hard to come by. Luckily we had our own private driveway next to the house. Besides that, everything was clean and comfortable. Paul was also very responsive to any questions we had and also provided some great activity and restaurant recommendations.

Perfect Bar Harbor location and extremely helpful host

Location is about as convenient as you can get for Bar Harbor. The house was perfect for our family of four. Paul was a wonderful host whose suggestions on activities and restaurants ended up being our favorite parts of the trip.

Wonderful house close to everything!

My husband and I had a great week-long stay at Moose Manor! The house was clean, comfortable, well-stocked and in a fantastic location in Bar Harbor. We had to work remotely part of the time, and the internet connection did not disappoint. Paul was a wonderful host, with great communication before, and great suggestions for activities and restaurants. Thanks for a relaxing stay, and we hope to be back soon!

Incredible first-time Bar Harbor stay

Our family of 4 had a PERFECT vacation. Everything at the home was precisely as advertised, and perfectly spotless. We contemplated staying a couple miles outside of downtown, but this was the most enjoyable vacation ever- Just a short walk to all meals, gorgeous downtown, and beautiful views of the harbor; or a 10 minute drive into Acadia. Paul was a great and responsive host and we had a great time! We will absolutely be coming back!

Wonderful week!

Moose Manor in Bar Harbor was exactly as advertised -- well maintained, within walking distance to everything in Bar Harbor and a very comfortable place to stay. Beds were comfortable, kitchen was updated and well stocked, and house felt cozy to stay in for a week. Paul, the owner, goes above and beyond to provide information about the area and tips that come in handy during your stay. It's obvious he cares about his home and the people who stay in it, and to me that makes all the difference. I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again!

The Perfect Location

Paul and Joy’s property was great! The in-town location was perfect. A very short walk to shopping along the main street, all the best restaurants, and the bar island path for low tide. The house was spotless, had everything we may have needed, and Paul made communication a breeze. Will definitely come back to stay here!

Stayed in this home with our 9 month old, 3 yo, and 5 yo. The description was very accurate, and Paul was great to work with and had wonderful suggestions on activities. Highly recommend Moose Manor

Moose Manor is conveniently located within walking distance of downtown Bar Harbor on a quiet, low traffic street and included off-street parking. The home was extremely clean with a well-equipped kitchen and everything we needed. The communication with Paul was excellent, leading up to our trip, during the trip and post-trip. Wonderful property and excellent location

Ours was a family of five adults for one week vacation. I was a little nervous that all of us could survive on one full bathroom (with toilet in basement), but it couldn’t have worked out better. Everyone had different schedules for bathing with some at night, some in the morning and some during the day after an activity. The property itself was perfect in that the kitchen was well stocked, had an eating area, and ample area for all of us to hang after being out and about. We used the fans at night and slept well in all of the rooms. The front porch gave us another area to split up. It was so nice to have full size laundry in the basement too. The home is one block off the main road, Cottage St but was tucked away and quiet. The town is quiet at night. I’m so glad we stayed in town versus some remote location. It was great having the dedicated parking space and the location of the home was fantastic. Short walk to grocery and very close to the green and all of the town shops and restaurants as well as the pier. We probably didn’t need to rent a car given that the Island Explorer has stops at all of the main places and you can easily walk the town and should due to limited in town parking. Homeowner Paul was the perfect host providing information on the home and activities going on both in advance of our trip and while there. We’ve never had that kind of interaction from a host. We will gladly stay here again!

Love this property!

We had a wonderful week in Bar Harbor, Acadia National Park and beyond! The location of Moose Manor makes it super easy to walk to the waterfront, shops and restaurants in the town of Bar Harbor as you are right there. With no worries for parking. You are also walking distance to go across the sand bar at low tide to Bar Harbor. This home had everything we needed in the kitchen and throughout the house. The beds are very comfortable. We really liked all the space on the enclosed front porch. And the dining and living room. I look forward to coming back to Moose Manor next year!

Awesome location and property layout

We had an amazing time in Acadia with our family of 6. Our two boys shared the large second room, our almost teenage daughter enjoyed the smallest charming bedroom, and we shared the largest bedroom with our baby daughter. It was a perfect layout for us. We were so happy to walk into town for ice cream and dinner after long days of hiking! We also loved the awesome downstairs layout and the porch, where we watched the torrential rain on Wednesday. The kitchen was well equipped and the beds were so comfortable! We were so happy here. Thank you!

Great stay

Paul was a gracious and meticulous host. The house is beautiful and thoughtfully stocked. Couldn't be closer to the action while also having quick access to the park. No a/c was not an issue - except a bit of early morning noise from the neighboring post office for those in the main bedroom - but getting up early was ok with us when there is so much to do. With 6 people in the house, have only one bathroom took some organizational efforts, but it was fine. We look forward to returning!

Home in the middle of the Bar Harbor action

Moose Manor Lodge is situated in the perfect location to take advantage of all downtown Bar Harbor has to offer. All of Bar Harbor's amenities are walkable and the off-street parking is appreciated. Someone from my group went to Acadia National Park everyday of our 1 week stay and going back and forth to the park is a short distance by car. The house has a nice kitchen and plenty of dining space. We appreciated the lobster supplies, as we cooked our own lobsters 2 times during our stay. I also enjoyed sitting on the enclosed porch on the cooler mornings. The owner was very responsive when we had a question during our stay. What a lovely home, we can't wait to stay again on our next trip to Bar Harbor.

Outstanding location, just like home!

Our family and friends stayed at Moose Manor at the end of the summer and it was an unforgettable experience. The location of the house is easy to walk to downtown Bar Harbor or drive into Acadia. We are a family of foodies who enjoyed eating out but we simply impressed with amenities at Moose Manor whether it be the BBQ grill outside, the baking pans inside, or the coffee bean grinder which we used everyday to make our coffee. The beds were comfortable, the extra beach towels were handy and the layout of the house was ideal for adults and children. The vacation was a memorable one thanks to Moose Manor whose house provided the most ideal homey and relaxing feel for us to come back to every night after a day of exploring. We look forward to returning. Thanks Paul and Joy for sharing your house! We look forward to returning next year and the kids are already asking to stay at the exact same house.

Fantastic Bar Harbor property!

My family of five just returned from an incredible stay at Moose Manor! The house could not be more conveniently located to everything- just a short walk to restaurants, shops, bike rental across the street and quick ride into Acadia! This was especially helpful with young kids (6,4 & 3yr) and little legs! Our favorite activity from years past was playing in the tidal pools by Bar Island and this year it was merely a 5 minute walk from the house! Paul was so easy to deal with and extremely helpful and accommodating (especially during this chaotic year of covid!). The only thing I'd note is the proximity to the post office which can cause some noise in the morning but the convenience of the location far outweighed sound from trucks in my opinion. I would highly recommend this property and I look forward to coming back!

We are Paul and Joy Strathman and we had lived in the Midwest for the past 25 years. It all began when we took a trip to Maine, simply because we'd never been there before.

Since then, we've been back to various parts of Coastal Maine every year and while we enjoy all the towns we've visited, we have fallen hopelessly in love with Bar Harbor. As so often happens when one visits a very special place, one's mind wanders into the possibilities of someday living there.

Moose Manor Bar Harbor is truly a dream come true. This 1904 New England-style residence is perfectly located right in town; walking distance to everything. We have filled Moose Manor Bar Harbor with things we love and have included all the comforts that we enjoy when we are there. We hope that you will enjoy our very special home and likewise fall in love with Bar Harbor.

While on one of our early visits to Bar Harbor, we went for a walk. As we passed by this house, my wife said, 'Paul, please buy me that porch!' We both chuckled and continued our walk. Little did we know that we would not only someday buy the porch, but the wonderful home which sits behind it as well!
